I found on Yelp that Volcano coffee was within 5 minutes of my location. This was definitely a random visit which turned into a wonderful one. Upon my entry, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good Morning " by one of the ladies (employee/possibly owner) and had made eye contact. I advised it was my first visit and if she didn't mind me taking some updated photos of the business as Yelp had old pictures. She stated "You're more than welcome, let me know when you're ready to order". I thanked her and I would holler. The place was larger than I expected. The building didn't look as big on the outside. I guess I was fooled. LOL! The ambiance was clean, comfortable with cozy lounge furniture and dining tables. There is a Fireplace, however, was not in use as it was warm inside. The Christmas tree was still up. I was advised by one of the ladies that they leave it up and change the theme throughout the year. I thought that was pretty neat. Drive thru is available. After looking through the menu. I opted to order the sausage egg muffin breakfast $6.50. This was good. I also ordered a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk $6.30 (inclusive of up charge $.75). This was recommended by one of the ladies and had claimed it was her favorite drink. I enjoyed this drink very much! I also had a warmed apple fritter $3.05 which was good. The three ladies that were working on that day were so joyful, full of smiles and laughter. I could tell they had great chemistry and enjoyed working there. I believe one of them was the owner. They surely made my morning and my day. I left merrily on my way to run the rest of my errands. I shall be back! =)

Really needed that this morning. Thanks guys. :) Food was fantastic. Had the Sausage Sandwich with a side of Arugula and Runny Egg Salad. The food was cooked to perfection by Juan. Got a lemonade and a Blue Lotus Energy Refresher. Amarette mixed them perfectly. Restaurant was impeccably clean and the atmosphere was very casual and chill. Next time I'm in Puyallup I'll definitely be stopping by.

Unfortunately, my experience today at the Puyallup location was very disappointing. My first time in an actual location, ( The service sucked ) I ordered a sandwich about 20 minutes ago, and it was nothing like the quality I've come to expect. The sausage was overcooked and dry, and the eggs tasted watered down and lacked flavor. Overall, the sandwich was dry and disappointing compared to what I've received in the past. It's frustrating because I know how good their food can be when it's prepared correctly. I hope this was just an off day, because I've enjoyed their sandwiches before and would like to see the quality return to what made me a repeat customer. The sandwiches I ordered from the Kent location, they were amazing. Unfortunately, my experience today at the Puyallup location was very disappointing. On a positive side the coffee taste good :)

CAFE ELITE: WHERE CAKE POPS REIGN SUPREME (UNLIKE DAIRY QUEEN'S SUSPECT BLIZZARD SUPREMACY)…read more Let me tell you about these cake pops that make Dairy Queen's entire existence seem like a fever dream from 1985. Each perfectly spherical masterpiece is handcrafted with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker who definitely doesn't serve Dilly Bars on the side. Their signature chocolate-dipped red velvet cake pop (way better than waiting in a drive-thru behind a minivan ordering Blizzards) is rolled with such perfection that geometrists weep. The ganache coating has a snap that makes Dairy Queen's chocolate dip cone look like it's trying to get into community theater but didn't make the cut. Speaking of theatrical performances, you should see their unicorn cake pop (no soft serve machine can compete, KAREN FROM DQ). It's adorned with edible glitter that makes other desserts question their life choices. Each horn is hand-painted with metallic dust that would make Dennis, the Tuesday night shift manager at Dairy Queen, absolutely lose his mind. Their seasonal pumpkin spice cake pop (eat your heart out, Pumpkin Pie Blizzard) is so perfectly spiced it makes you wonder why anyone would ever waste their time watching ice cream get turned upside down. The density of these cake pops is scientifically calibrated for optimal mouth feel - unlike SOME establishments that think gravity-defying ice cream is a personality trait. Don't even get me started on their birthday cake flavor (sorry, DQ's ice cream cake, but you're not invited to this conversation). Each sprinkle is placed with the careful consideration of someone who has never once had to explain why the soft serve machine is down. The lemon cake pop (refreshing in a way that makes a Mr. Misty look like flavored ice) has a citrus note so perfect it makes other desserts cry themselves to sleep. They achieve a tang that no amount of red plastic spoons could ever hope to experience. Five stars for these cake pops - they're what would happen if Leonardo da Vinci quit painting and decided to pursue his true passion of putting cake on sticks (while definitely not managing a Dairy Queen franchise on the side). P.S. I heard someone tried to compare these cake pops to a Blizzard once. They were politely but firmly asked to leave while clutching their Buster Bar in shame. P.P.S. The double chocolate cake pop is so rich it makes Warren Buffett look middle class (and he definitely doesn't own any Dairy Queens... oh wait). Note: This review was written while experiencing what I can only describe as a transcendent cake pop experience, completely unsullied by thoughts of certain fast-food establishments with royal aspirations and questionable ice cream machine maintenance schedules. Special Addendum: To the person who suggested they should serve these with soft serve on the side - first of all, how dare you, and second of all, the exit is that way, right past the building that used to be a Dairy Queen in 1992. Final Thought: If you're reading this review in a Dairy Queen parking lot, just know that there's a better life waiting for you. A life filled with cake pops that have never once been threatened by a malfunctioning soft serve machine. Remember: Every cake pop here is served at the perfect temperature, which is more than I can say for SOME places that think "partially frozen" is an acceptable state for a Blizzard.

My son's friend introduced him to the breakfast burrito at Cafe Elite, and he fell in love. As…read moresummer winds down I made a breakfast date with my son to have breakfast burritos. Sadly, they were out. She took our drink order and walked away which felt very inefficient for the level of busy for just 1 person to be managing. We decided we'd try the breakfast sandwich instead, assuming it would taste similar, and it did. Despite ordering "2 sausage and egg breakfast sandwiches" (after having ordered 2 sausage and egg burritos) she made 1 and was already onto helping the customer at the other window. Since there are no prices on the menu board and they don't give you a receipt, I can only assume I just paid $5-6 for an Italian soda and $5-6 for a breakfast sandwich. Don't get me wrong, that seems like a fair price for a breakfast sandwich, so the total I paid should have been the tip off that she was only making 1, but the other peculiar part was that she told me the total and saw he holding up cash so then she gave me a new, lower total. Just overall not a great experience for a special breakfast outing with my kiddo.
