We love Cafe Elite! On occasions though my chai tea ends up with coffee in it even though we tell them no coffee. The Baristas are very nice

Lil’ J’s Java

LIL' J'S JAVA: WHERE ALLITERATION MEETS ARBITRARY ALPHABETICAL RESTRICTIONS…read more Let me tell you about the absolute MASTERPIECE of caffeinated nomenclature that is Lil' J's Java in Orting. First, the apostrophic excellence of not one but TWO abbreviated words! The sheer AUDACITY to diminutize both "Little" AND "Java's" - it's like e.e. cummings opened a coffee shop and decided to get JAZZY with it. The alliteration? PERFECTION. Three J's dancing together like caffeinated jazz musicians. Lil' J's Java - try saying that three times fast while your mouth is still numb from their Jalapeño Juice (because apparently, every beverage MUST start with J, and we need to talk about this). BUT FIRST, can we appreciate how they took the standard coffee shop naming convention and gave it that little apostrophe-heavy twist? While other shops are out here with names like "The Coffee House" or "Morning Brew," Lil' J just swaggered in with double punctuation marks and said "Watch this." However, I must address the elephant in the room: their puzzling commitment to J-exclusive beverages. Yes, your Juniper Juice is delightful, and the Jackfruit Jammer is... interesting. But what happened to good old-fashioned COFFEE? Oh wait, sorry - I meant "Java." Because apparently, we can't serve anything that doesn't sound like a tongue twister from the letter J. The name Lil' J's Java rolls off the tongue like linguistic butter. It's poetry. It's music. It's... severely limiting their menu options. Look, I appreciate your Jicama Juice and Jam Tea (which they insist on calling Jam-Tea to make it work), but sometimes I just want a mocha. Sorry - "Jamocha." I've started a weekly appreciation club where we gather to admire the linguistic brilliance of the name while quietly questioning why every seasonal special has to be something like "Jolly Juice" or "Jazzy Jujube Jubilee." Last week, someone ordered a hot chocolate and watched the barista have an existential crisis before renaming it "Jovial Java-less Juice." Five stars for the name - it's a masterpiece of modern minimalist marketing with maximum apostrophe usage. But SERIOUS QUESTIONS about forcing "Jasmine" tea to carry the entire non-coffee menu because it's the only traditional tea that starts with J. P.S. I heard they briefly considered serving lattes but decided they'd have to rename them "Javattes" to maintain their theme. The dedication is admirable, if slightly concerning. P.P.S. Their latest creation, the "Jumping Jellybean Juice," feels less like a beverage and more like a cry for help from someone trapped in an alphabetical prison of their own making. Note: This review was written while sipping their signature "Jubilant Java Journey" (because apparently regular coffee needed three J-words to be menu-worthy) and contemplating the beautiful simplicity of their name against the byzantine complexity of their J-based beverage bureaucracy. Special Addendum: To the staff member who tried to convince me that "Espresso" could be spelled "Jespresso" - I admire your commitment to the bit, but we need to talk about the rules of English orthography. Final Thought: The name? BRILLIANT. The J-restriction? It's like watching someone play Wordle with one hand tied behind their back while hopped up on their own Jalapeno-Jackfruit-Juniper Juice Jam (yes, that's a real drink, and no, I don't want to talk about it).

I've had this bookmarked for quite sometime now and I've been wanting to try this place.Thankfully,…read moreon Thursday 1/22/26, I was in the area and I was a bit hungry and wanting some hot beverage. I found on Yelp that Volcano coffee was within 5 minutes of my location. This was definitely a random visit which turned into a wonderful one. Upon my entry, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good Morning " by one of the ladies (employee/possibly owner) and had made eye contact. I advised it was my first visit and if she didn't mind me taking some updated photos of the business as Yelp had old pictures. She stated "You're more than welcome, let me know when you're ready to order". I thanked her and I would holler. The place was larger than I expected. The building didn't look as big on the outside. I guess I was fooled. LOL! The ambiance was clean, comfortable with cozy lounge furniture and dining tables. There is a Fireplace, however, was not in use as it was warm inside. The Christmas tree was still up. I was advised by one of the ladies that they leave it up and change the theme throughout the year. I thought that was pretty neat. Drive thru is available. After looking through the menu. I opted to order the sausage egg muffin breakfast $6.50. This was good. I also ordered a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk $6.30 (inclusive of up charge $.75). This was recommended by one of the ladies and had claimed it was her favorite drink. I enjoyed this drink very much! I also had a warmed apple fritter $3.05 which was good. The three ladies that were working on that day were so joyful, full of smiles and laughter. I could tell they had great chemistry and enjoyed working there. I believe one of them was the owner. They surely made my morning and my day. I left merrily on my way to run the rest of my errands. I shall be back! =)

The manager came out, asked for the drink back, and poured it out right in front of me, both of them acting with a rude attitude. I was just trying to be kind and patient, but after that, I never went back. Very disappointing service.
