He pitched the full home inspection instead, an obvious upcharge, and when I informed him one had already been completed, he said "I'll pass" and hung up abruptly. Bought a new home in North Las Vegas and requested their service. I feel that for the amount of the money we paid, the service is very generic and general, and very low tech. Current companies out there are offering full visualization , digital cameras and much more details report. All in all, our house comes with warranty and we discover stuffs as we move it - things that the inspector should have catch - such as closet doors scratching on carpet or catching on door hinges. I would not recommend this for if I buy a used house, or even with a new build. read more

We were buying our very first home, and more than slightly nervous about the process. Rocco showed up nearly as early as we did, and once our relator arrived, we had already been chatting about various things. He made us feel very comfortable with him right away. He got right to work, but also took the time to explain something when he noticed it. He even let us climb up to take a look at the attic space. (which needed a small write-up, but he wanted to explain why) He was so very thorough...even noticing a small amount of a condensation stain inside a window, which meant the weather seal was nearly done. He gave our home the stamp of approval in that nothing major was wrong, and with Rocco being as knowledgeable as he was...we know we are buying a fantastic home. When we buy again in the future, Rocco is who we will request. And, we will happily recommend him to anyone that may ask. read more

Rob Mounger inspector for Associated Inspectors and inspector on my condo did not report mold, water damage and rotted floor under the kitchen sink. This was a wide area and clearly visible. When questioned why this was not noted, he never answered my questions and passed it off to the listing agent, which never addressed it. This should have never happened. I paid money for a service to look out for me. Awful! read more

Been in my home since 9/17 and noticed right away the ice box/maker to fridge was broken. It passed the home inspection. So I make a claim to my home warranty coverage and it's denied. Because parts were missing. How can this be, if it passed the home inspection. Since it's not normal "wear and tear" my home warranty denied the claim. If I would've known ahead of time, this could've been repaired through the sale of the home. Hence my change from 5 to 1 star. read more

A friend had recommended their home inspector to me, and i sent him an email. Someone else replied saying the other guy had retired, and he now owned his business. Ok cool *goes to search reviews and finds they're great*...let's proceed! Carlos was our inspector, and i'd read many good reviews about him. We arrived at our scheduled time, along with my ESA who was very curious about where the heck she was and who this guy was haha. I observed most of the inspection with Carlos, took notes and my own pictures for reference, and the whole process couldn't have been easier or more insightful. Carlos took SO MANY PHOTOS on a DSLR camera, had a slew of tools, ladders and checklists, took many notes, and taught me a lot. More importantly, he showed me a lot-things that were good, meh, and really not great. Luckily there were very few really not great issues. I learned so much from him, about the house, and what to do about the more minor issues that the seller may not wanna deal with/fix. He said i'd have a detailed report within 24 hours, along with my RE agent, and I had it about 14 hours later! It was thorough, had Bad things in red text, minimally not great things in green, the photos had arrows pointing things out and things were circled, and it was SO DETAILED. I am super thankful to my friend who recommended their now retired inspector, because it led me to Associated and Carlos. A bonus was when at the end we got to talking about the pandemic, masks etc, and he was very clearly pro mask and taking every precaution while working and in general. I really appreciate that as someone who's semi compromised immune system wise. I would highly recommend him for your home inspection. It has been just over six months that we've been living in the house that AI inspected for us during escrow. This has given us plenty of time to find all of the things that they missed. Among these were a gas leak in the garage, mold (Richard swore he's able to smell mold and said we had none), leaking toilets, leaking sinks, lights that flicker, outlets that don't work, and a broken oven control panel. We had to pay to have these things fixed since we had already closed on the house and could no longer request repairs while in contract. On the actual day of inspection, we met Richard and Carlos at the house so they could go over their findings. After they left, we were walking around in the backyard and discovered that they left the bbq grill on! Good thing we noticed it or we might have had to figure out who was responsible for burning down the house. We let our realtor know that we were not happy with his recommendation of Richard and AI and that he should NOT be referring this company anymore. Our impression of the experience is that Richard is way overdue to retire and anyone looking for an inspection company should keep on looking. read more

Someone said that Associated Inspectors provided them with the worst inspection ever. Not true! They gave me the worst inspection ever. Faucet fell off an had to be replaced. In another bathtub the cartridge proved to be not functional and again had to be replaced. I've had 2 electrical switches replaced. Also I had 3 electrical outlets replaced. These items cost me far more than the inspections. I reported these problems to the owner Richard Cummings and was ignored. I will not use their services again. Gave them 1 star because I couldn't figure out how to give 0 stars. read more
