These guys came in to a home inspection of a house I was selling. The inspector left and we ended up with a gas leak behind the fireplace key vale. I completely understand and understood that its possible this could have happened accidently or could have been waiting to happen and i did not fault them for this at all for this but I still woke up with a gas leak in my house with my family there. The pure unprofessionalism from the owner in the email blaming me for a gas leak that was caused by his company is incredible, I would never ever suggest anyone use these people for anything because the owner does not care if his company is responsible for leaving a harmful environment and gave no apology at all and in fact turned the blame around on us. My neighbor recommended Andrew from Inspect LV and I couldn't be more pleased! I bought a new build home and this is my 2nd time doing a new build. Most people would think new builds don't have as many issues as old homes, but based on my 1st new build experience that's not completely true. Andrew knew as well that new builds actually sometimes have a lot more to look out for and I was beyond happy that he understood that. I can't even describe the amount of detail Andrew got into for my new home. His report was easy to follow and very descriptive. He caught a lot of cosmetic issues that the builder ended up fixing before closing. He also went up in the attic and found a tear in the HVAC duct which I would have never known unless Andrew did the inspection. Our construction manager couldn't even find it for a while to fix, but the pictures Andrew attached to the report helped us find it. Andrew and his wife are very responsive and easy to work with as well. He's definitely an experienced inspector and very cool to talk with. Would use them again! read more

I did not have a good experience with this company. In fact turned out to be one of the very worst experiences I have ever had! I wish I had read all of their one star reviews prior to booking an inspection with them. When they take your call to book the inspection Nikki will be wonderful very professional. She is a salesperson (realtor but also wife of owner) She will sell you a complete bill of goods! Be careful! The very second you book the inspection it turned into a very negative experience. Back peddling and not willing to provide was was promised upfront. Felt like this was a huge scam! Looking for reasons not to deliver what they advised or committed to upfront. Seeking every "out"possible and making the consumer jump through a million hoops to get what we would have been paying for. In reading their responses to other negative reviews I am sure they will respond to this with excuses regarding their poor treatment of me, rudeness and unwillingness to do what they advertise! Not unless you basically give them your first born child! Thankfully I called a second time after booking to inquire about re-inspection like they advertise and quickly detected this company was a fraud. Proceed with caution at your own risk. I did not have a good experience with this company. Their inspector found an issue with a couple of items. The seller agreed to fix them. However, when the licensed professionals arrived to fix the items, they found no issues. Inspect LV initially refused to reinspect those items. Then they were uncooperative, entitled and dismissive to both realtors, the seller, and personally insulting to me as a buyer. In their own words from an email: "we have no dog in this fight". It does not matter to us if this deal falls apart. I am buying out of state and needed their assistance to evaluate the property and have it repaired. I didn't need everyone to be universally offended and the hassle of multiple emails, time and effort spent trying to get the property evaluated. Ultimately, I engaged a separate company for the reinspection as I could not rely on Inspect LV. read more

I am incredibly disappointed by the service and TRUSTWORTHINESS of LV Inspection. The inspection report they provided came back fairly clean. Upon move in, I had several major repairs which should have been highlighted in the initial inspection report. I won't draw out my review with the details but I have reason to believe there are assessment items they never even looked. Upon filing a complaint with Inspect LV, I received a highly condescending and unprofessional email from Andrew Aliotti (Lic No. IOS-0002659-RES). My inspector was Ralph Pane (Lic.# IOS.0002415.RE). For reference, I own several residential real estate properties in various cities and I also work in the real estate field. This is by far the worst experience I've had with any service provider. Inspect LV recently did an inspection of a home from 1979 that had been DIY'ed and duct taped together for the better part of 40 years. Andrew arrived on time and was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He spent hours in the home combing over every detail of the property and then produced a detailed report approximately 12 hours later. Thanks to Inspect LV, we had the information to better negotiate with the sellers and ultimately walked away from a home that could have become a major money pit. And accusing buyer of being "hostile" just because he asked if inspector knows when he can get the key?! So, buyer can't ask questions?! And the funny fact that company report that fact to the brokers- at least 2 agents and 2 brokers will never work with this company from now on ;) But buyer does have copy of the report from this company with missing pictures, pictures which have wrong numbers so you can't identify to which part of the report they should be applied, some parts of the report have no clear description of the problems, etc. So rating still "worst possible". Tried to use them again for our new purchase three years later and they canceled my inspection today, Monday (scheduled for Wednesday) without talking to me and left me scrambling for a new company since I had 10 other things set up during that same window of time. Wish the owner still worked for his company so it would be possible to use the again but I will NO longer recommend this company. read more

Worse inspection ever. I informed Nikki Aliotti to have their inspector do a thorough inspection on my Heating and A/C unit. The inspector tells me it's great having bushes close and covering the condenser. Keeps it cool. WRONG. Where does the air flow go when it's covered by bushes. Then the inspector tells me it has a great output. WRONG. Had my A/C maintenance Performed and they tell me it's running like a 6 tier and this unit is 14 tier. Had inspector look at unit inside and he said it's normal to have rust spots. WRONG. A/C technician said it's leaking water from the heater core in 2 places. One was at the core itself and the other at the water valve. $10,500 later. Don't get this company. They don't have a clue what they are doing. read more

Recommendation: Stay away from this company. SCAM! I recently paid for an inspection and was told prior to paying for the inspection that a free re-inspection came with the quoted price. After doing the inspection we found some items the seller needed to address. The seller then fixed the repairs, however, InspectLV decides that they can not do my re-inspection since the condo I was purchasing was a Fannie Mae property and did not have the itemized list of how much the vendors paid to fix the repairs. Which technically has absolutely nothing to do with the Inspection company who is a 3rd party company coming back to view the items from the repair list. This company is a complete scam and will deny you your free re-inspection based off their own reasoning which in this case was a bank owned property that would not provide us with the itemized repair list. They have the full report from the first inspection and what they noted to need addressing. Yet, they refused to come back to look at the property for the re-inspection. Again a complete rip off. I now have to find another inspection company to do my re-inspection because I cannot get the itemized list of the cost of repairs from Fannie Mae. There are more professional and honest companies around Las Vegas that will do the first inspection and re-inspection at a much better rate and that will keep their word on doing your free re-inspection unlike InspectLV. read more

Lazy work ethic and poor customer service. Inspect LV did an inspection on a home purchase in February 2021 and the inspector skipped a room entirely, there was no mention of the bathroom downstairs nor pictures in their report. I met some contractors in the home before moving in and found out that sink downstairs had a leak and the pipes weren't attached to the wall. I emailed with Andrew the owner and he was very condescending to my wife and I. He also claimed that they didn't skip the room with his proof being "because I said so." Ultimately he said it was mine and my wife's fault for not catching it as if we're the "professional inspectors." Just like our emails I'm sure he'll condescend me here as well. Greg did the inspection and produced a great report with pictures, arrows and descriptions it was more than we expected. I had some question and talked to the owner "Paul" since Greg was out of the office he answered my question fully. He also pointed out the areas I should be most concerned. We used Inspect LV for a home inspection on our new construction before our 1 yr warranty expired. Michael came out and did a very thorough inspection of the interior and exterior, the top of the roof, inside the attic, garage, all windows, plumbing, etc. We were so impressed! He found things needing repair that we would have never been aware of until it was too late.
