The market offers a remarkably diverse selection of fresh Chinese vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, specialty greens, and imported ingredients that are often difficult to find in other traditional supermarkets. Their fresh bok choy, Chinese broccoli to lotus root, taro, bitter melon, and exotic mushrooms are so fresh! Never seen such a great selection! The seafood department is particularly impressive and worth the trip. Large live tanks are filled with fresh green crabs, lobsters, clams, oysters, shrimp, and a wide variety of whole fishes. For seafood lovers, this section alone is worth the visit. Downstairs, you can find their food court with multiple vendors offering Chinese comfort food, noodles, dumplings, bubble tea, roasted meats, and freshly prepared dishes at very reasonable prices. The staff mostly speak Chinese, which was great for me practicing my basic few sentences. The store also offers some special discounts.

I had items with me that I had purchased from H Mart and placed neatly inside my personal tote bag. Luckily, I still had the receipts to show that I had purchased them elsewhere. I even purposely left the items I had purchased from 99 Ranch Market outside, along with the receipt, to avoid any misunderstanding. Despite that, the security guard still insisted on searching my personal tote. I didn't want to make a scene, so I simply opened the bag and showed him briefly. This made my shopping experience very uncomfortable and frustrating. I have no time to deal with this kind of unnecessary confrontation while shopping. If this is the store's policy, please post the policy clearly at the entrance so customers know before entering. Otherwise, please train your security staff to treat customers with more respect and professionalism. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the experience was disappointing and unnecessary.

I don't know, but they didn't have the best first impression. But as time when by, things started improving. The cashiers were friendly. The workers were helpful. It became my go-to supermarket. What do I like about it? - Lobster rolls, sushi, hot pot kits! - Kimbap, banchan, fried rice, and sweets, - L'Ami Bakery selection, - Hot food selection: musubi, rice bowls, onigiris, skewers! - Italian bread/baguettes are finally in stock! - Jasmine rice is available, - A good amount of Chinese groceries are available, - Lotsa of Ritter Sport Chocolate. What would make it better? - Better tea selection? - Inarizushi? - Hal's Kettle Cooked Chips. Why is there's no Hal's? I'll settle for Hals, Deep River, or Kettle brand. Not Lays.

Always clean, bright, with happy people. It has all the things I love in one place. Tropical fruits, all the veggies, a ton of mushrooms, fresh meats and seafood, and all the Asian snacks you can think of. And the staff is always so nice. A great mix of American and Asian things. There's also an awesome food court where you can grab yummy food to go eat there. It's a great restaurant. But wait... I'm not done. As if ALL these wonderful things weren't enough. They added a Paris Baguette in there? Come on now! That's just not fair... just take all my money right now! Paris Baguette has MY FAVORITE cakes. The Fluffy, light cakes wrapped in what I can only describe as clouds of whipped cream. The strawberry cake is a heavenly delight. All their cakes, confections, and breads are amazing. I have zero qualms! Keep up the good work

Ambiance wise is probably your typical/standard H Mart in the neighborhood. Fast service from friendly staff in the aisles and by the cashiers. There're so much fresh produce like fruits, veggies, meat, dairy, dried goods and etc from H Mart. Great clean grocery store with an amazing, diverse selection and range of products. However, it can be more on the expensive side for the price range. There's also a decent-size parking lot. First thing first, love getting the thinly-sliced beef that they've which we usually use during hot pot for dinner. The meat texture is so tender and not tough. Tastes so freshly prepared and seasoned with just a little bit of salt, black pepper and soy sauce. My favorite things to get from H Mart are often Korean snacks like roasted seaweed and chips plus jars of kimchi and different flavors of Melona Ice Cream Bars (Purple Yam/Ube, Honeydew Melon, Banana, Strawberry, Coconut and Mango). Can't get enough of those flavors at all. Melona is considered as America's favorite Korean ice cream, to say the least! Sometimes, they're also $1-2 off the original price if you're lucky to see it! *********************** If you happen to get really hungry while shopping at H Mart, you can stop by their self-serve, sit-down food court called Namudol. A great and popular option during lunch, dinner, and solo dining. They serve bibimbap, kimbap, bulgogi stew, seafood pancake, cold noodles, spicy kimchi stew, marinated chicken/beef bento boxes, just to name a few from the menu. Price ranges approximately from $11-30. Namudol is a laid-back, Korean cafeteria-styled eatery offering more of a comfortable and relaxed dining experiences. They seem to accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments at the food court. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Namudol has you covered with its diverse menu options. The restaurant provides the convenience of takeout service, allowing you to enjoy their flavorful dishes from the comfort of your own home.

DC Market (德昌DeChang in Chinese) is one of many places to shop, and they specialize in meat and takeout meals. This location is similar in size to their Chinatown location, though Flushing has more of a rectangular layout in contrast to the long narrow layout in Ctown. Their butcher counter is pretty much unparalleled compared to other Asian supermarkets with the exception of maybe large format Hmarts. DC carries a wide breadth of edible animal products both au naturel and marinated, including more familiar meats such as pork chops, short rib, flank steak, sea bass, running the gamut to less commonly appreciated though edible parts like frog legs, pork lung and hocks, beef tongue, whelk. Marinated specialties like tangerine peel minced beef and pork ribs in pickled plum sauce caught my attention, among many others. The second largest section is the ready-to-eat food section, with items pre-portioned in takeout containers, priced by the container. This area is composed of several counters with a wide selection of steamed, deep-fried, baked, sautéed and stewed dishes, all categories covered--vegetables, meats, carbs, savory and sweet--food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall food quality is not quite on par with good restaurants as some other reviews mention, though not too bad if you're looking for a quick simple meal. Aside from aforementioned meat, some seafood, and takeout, they have a suitable breadth of fresh produce, refrigerated/chilled, dried and frozen foods. What you don't find too much here are packaged snacks and processed foods, which I suppose is a good thing.
