Let me start off by saying how impressed I was with how high-tech this office is! From the moment I walked in, everything felt modern, smooth and efficient. They even have self check-in kiosks, which is such a great option if you prefer not to wait in line. The atmosphere was another pleasant surprise... the relaxing spa music playing throughout the office honestly made me feel like I was about to get a massage at a five-star resort, not sit in a waiting room. The efficiency here is unmatched. The second I checked in and sat down, they called me in. I didn't even have time to pull out my phone! I'm used to spending hours at doctor's offices, but not here. Even once I was in the exam room, I didn't wait long at all. I was in and out so quickly, I actually had to figure out what else to do with the rest of my day (a first for me at a doctor's appointment!). They also conveniently offer lab work being done here, instead of going to Quest or another location. As for Dr. Maria Cortti Ferrari... she was wonderful. Friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable as a new patient, and I left feeling confident that I chose the right office. I'm actually very surprised with all of these reviews because I have the complete opposite experience. I thought it was worth writing a good one because I actually am so thankful for this office....I have to admit at first I was seeing a male Dr at this practice who didn't really understand my needs and kept telling me that I was fatigued because I'm a "mom" but I knew it was more than that. I wasn't myself. I understand everyone's different and their approach might not align well with me and that's ok. I did some research about other doctors in this practice and came across Jennifer Curro. I am so grateful for her because she immediately showed empathy and understanding. She told me not to worry and that we'd get to the bottom of this and offered to run additional testing. We definitely got to the bottom of it and figured out what was happening. She continues to follow up with me every 6 months for testing and reviews everything with me thoroughly. I feel like I owe her tremendously! Especially after not getting help I desperately needed for almost 2 years!! She's really an amazing person and quality doctor. TOP TIER As far as office experience, they're very friendly and seem to have their work under control. They're professional and respectful. I've been coming to this office for 2.5 years now and have no complaints about them at all. If anything, they make an extra effort to confirm which type of appointment you need scheduled next for example. Because my memory is terrible, by the time I get to checkout I might forget if I need to schedule my follow up or blood work. And they just tell me that they'll call me once they confirm if they're not sure or figure it out for themselves by looking at my details in the computer. Apart from this, it's definitely on the techy side. Everything is manageable through an app, scheduling appointments, rescheduling, prescription refills, lab results and even non urgent messaging. They do take a bit to respond to the messages but if it's not an urgent message that shouldn't matter because they answer within the day or 2. Doctors do not check their messages or never get them from the front desk .If you have pain and request a refill or change in the refill you will suffer all day and maybe the next day also. You have to keep calling and the only thing the front office people do is say they will send another message to the doctor and put HIGH priority while you suffer waiting and waiting hoping the doctor will respond. Not a great experience as a first time patient, to say the least. I went in because I needed bloodwork requested by my functional nutritionist. I was aware that the labs being requested may not be covered by insurance but I was hopeful since this office was referred to me.. I was paired with the soonest available appointment with Dr. Sean Del Grego and he was pleasant and respectful during our interaction. I explained to him why I was working with this nutritionist and SHOWED him multiple times the labs I need (27 items on the list) and he assured me multiple times after reading the list that MOST, if not ALL, maybe miss 1 or 2 things would be requested. That is what he told me. I was over the moon.. until I got my results, sent them to my nutritionist and she tells me that he only ordered 6 out of the 27 listed. Annoying. I called to complain and Nikki was very understanding and passed along the info to Doris, I believe shes the manager. She calls me and that call was a joke. She continued to tell me over and over that the doctor Told her the labs I asking for were not medically necessary... cool well that's not what he told me. She continued to tell me "he said he was clear not all of those panels would be ordered"... cool, that's NOT what he told me. He was actually pretty clear in that the majority would be ordered. I don't appreciate the fact that he couldn't be upfront about the what could and couldn't be done, I feel like he did not listen and was not transparent. Absolutely Amazing!!!!! I called the office on Monday 2/2 and left a message for my pcp Amanda Berg. I informed her that my insurance denied request for a particular medication. I requested that she file an appeal. Later that morning I was informed by the office that appeal was already filed by the next morning the office called me to advise that the medicine was now approved. Went to this building for an appointment. BOTH of the elevators were NOT working. An older building not necessarily dumpy. I'm a cripple. Cannot use stairs. This was a Monday. A nurse who worked in the building was in the log by with me. She said the 'elevators were also broken last Friday' So, over the weekend those two elevators died. Go climb stairs!! read more

I came with open wounds on my hands. I saw Dr. Rubino. He didn't come closer than 4 ft to look at my wounds. When I asked to cover a big open wound, he couldn't find a patch in his office, He went to other office and brought me several smaller bandages and tossed them to me, I had to cover the openings myself. Prescribed antibiotics though, but after that I tried to contact the office about my injuries and prescription 5 times, and never had a response. Once somebody from the office tried to call me, left message on my answering machine,, I called back and asked to call the different number, and never heard from them again. My doctor Fernandez along with all doctors couldn't see me until months later and I even came in with an emergency and they denied to see me. The fact that my arm is dying I have to now go to the emergency room to rack up an excessive amount of bill for something I could of had checked out from any of the doctors in my network. Don't use these people. They are uncommunicative, non-responsive and uncooperative. I have had problems getting them to issue referrals, a simple procedure, where they want me to come to their office, and see the doctor, for every one I need. Then, they issue them with zero visits and finally their referrals manager sent me an email that I do not need them. I do. My health care provider, Simply, requires them. Now I have a surgery pending, and have all my clearances except for Associates. They will not even answer their office phone this morning. The surgeon called them today and they would not pick up the phone for them either. How can they just not pick up the phone? If you speak Spanish, your experience may vary. Everyone there is polite, but for some reason or another, unable to accomplish simple tasks. These are not medical issues, they are problems with their office management, but they are causing medical issues. I must now change PCP providers and start the surgery process all over because of simple incompetence. Surgery I badly need to retain mobility. Avoid at literally any cost. I wish I were joking, but I absolutely would not wish this practice on my worst enemy. I've heard Dr. Berg is nice. I wouldn't know, I've never met her. I saw her NP twice, and was then told she quit and Berg was on maternity leave, so I was being sent to a doctor downstairs. I sign in down there, listen to this doctor tell her receptionist what a horrible practice Associates is to work for because of their focus on money over actual time spent with patients. I ask about a medication which she says she can't prescribe because she'd want to monitor me, and she's planning to quit. The pandemic starts. I schedule a telemedicine visit and end up with another doctor. Three months later, telemedicine visit with Dr. Glassman, who ends up being 45 minutes late. 30 minutes in, I call to make sure this isn't a problem on my end, and am told he's two patients behind. I've got the time, that's fine. And then someone from his office calls me maybe five minutes later to tell me that he'll be running late. He tells me that in order for him to refill my prescription again, I need a certain test. His receptionist will call me in 10 minutes to schedule that. Three days later, I called to schedule it myself, and ask if it would be possible to see a female doctor. Come in today, do the health screening, and am told that insurance companies aren't covering this test done by GPs. Which is what I have scheduled. Receptionist asks me, "Did you hear that?" I ask how much it will be out of pocket, and she confers with two other staffers to find out. Meanwhile, I'm looking back and forth between their pandemic safety poster and the five or so women behind the desk, taking their masks off and touching their faces, scratching their noses. One blows her nose, adjusts her glasses, and pops her mask back on. I live with two high risk people. I told the doctor I was terrified of coming in and breaking quarantine, and he scolded me about their safety measures, like I was being a paranoid child. Finally they figure out that the out of pocket will be somewhere in the modest hundreds. And I decided to leave. I'm done. I'm genuinely sorry I trusted a recommendation from a friend instead of checking reviews. I've never been so consistently disappointed by medical professionals. read more

Horrible experience. My long time doctor Lea left the practice and now I was given dr Nicole. Biggest joke experience I have had getting just simple blood work. They lost my urine analysis and just told me they don't know what happened and don't even care. The nurse Sheri is extremely rude and could care less. The dr Nicole did not even touch me for a psychical appointment she just looked at me and said do I have questions and walked out. The blood work comes back with bad results and they just call me, tell me, and have no suggestions. I couldnt even get an appointment with the doctor and they won't speak on the phone. I got an appointment finally with a PA Jospeh. Woman was very rude would not speak to me and just told me to get my blood redone. I am now with another doctor office praying my results come back good because the doctor I know saw has told me if my blood work is what it originally says from associates MD I need to go to the ER right away. I am at life or death and this office could care less. Now since they lost my urine I wonder if they even sent my blood off or if I got someone else's blood results. Random charges keep popping up on my account and the office is unable to explain what they are for, in fact, their answer changes AS I WAS ON THE PHONE with them multiple times. It took me months to finally receive an itemized copy of my account statement (since they did not send one the first time I asked) to prove that I do not owe anything and I am still being sent texts that I owe another $35 on top of the $70 that I have already paid for a regular check-up. This business is a scam. Their phone number takes you to a central Associates MD office and you will be unable to reach your doctor, her nurses or anyone at that location to ask questions, instead they "leave a message" and no one ever calls back. I have been a patient at this location for multiple years and multiple doctoral changes (which is annoying in and of itself). I have called multiple times for many reasons (medical records to be faxed and CPAP prescription to be faxed). Each time the process takes WEEKS! Because there is NO FOLLOW UP. The person responsible ALWAYS sends the information requested to a fax that is "on file", rather than the fax number that I supply at the time of our conversation. There were at least 10 people waiting in line in front of me, when I arrived at 8:05, ALL with an 8:05 appointment! I let the front desk person know I had to be at work by 9 am. They only take one person at a time. How can you schedule all these people for the same time? At 8:50 I informed the receptionist,I will be leaving and I will be leaving Associates. I had an appointment, and I was made to wait an hour. Ten minute visit. Dr Jaimes said she'd send a prescription on Wednesday morning. I confirmed again upon checkout that this is important. Staff told me that the prescription 'was sent instantaneously because it's electronic' and would be ready at the pharmacy in under an hour, which was before noon. I've called their office a few times and no one has sent the prescription, and they claim they cannot call the pharmacy as they're the messaging department. I've also called the pharmacist a few times, and they haven't gotten it, and that the medical staff can always call, but they chose not to do so. It's Fri night, still nothing and they said they had it as 'high priority', which is a lie as they never called me nor the pharmacy, which called their office and left a voicemail. I'm leaving on a trip abroad this weekend for two weeks and still no prescription. This is super frustrating and has been a waste of my time, energy, and money. read more
