I recently had the pleasure of talking to a very warm, friendly, and funny woman named Gina.C. who has helped me above and beyond anything that was expected. And even though I've had Allstate for over 7yrs and have had exceptional service, Gina is the reason I felt I should give my review. With the customer service I've received with this company, I will be with Allstate home & auto for a long time. This company just doesn't forget about you after you buy a policy. I have received emails, phone calls, & letters basically letting me know that they are there for me. What company actually cares so much about their customers as to call from time to time just asking if everything is ok. And it's not a random 1800 number, recording, or pre written letter. My car and home were both insured through Amica. I called to cancel my AUTO insurance policy and…read morethey took it upon themselves to also cancel my HOMEOWNERS insurance policy as well. I received no confirmation of this cancellation and didn't know it was cancelled until I received a refund check in the mail 2 weeks later. When I called Amica to have this rectified, the manager/supervisor Sheila was aggressive with me and refused to do anything about it. She just told me that I needed to start over with a new policy rather than just reinstate my policy that they decided to cancel without my permission. Sheila told me that she needed to listen to the recording of my conversation with the agent to prove that I indeed only wanted my auto insurance policy cancelled but never got back to me and hasn't returned my calls after leaving multiple voicemails
