There's something a little ironic about giving a "stars rating" that is labeled "Woohoo! As good as…read moreit gets!" to someone you see regularly because you have a painful, chronic disease, and yet the contrast between Dr. Chaganti at UCSF is so stark compared to my former medical team that I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge it. My life and my outlook on my disease have been significantly improved by being a patient at UCSF Rheumatology. Dr. Chaganti is respectful, interested in my input, and methodical in her approach -- and (this is the best part) overtly curious about my disease. I appreciate her dedication to not just finding a label (RA, PA, UC, etc.) so that she can place me on a general medication protocol. Instead, she is flexible and cumulative. I find that I have started paying more attention to my symptoms and tracking them more accurately because I know that she will actually take the data into consideration and discuss it with me when determining our next steps. This is not necessarily the case with all rheumatologists. Also, I love that giant oil painting of Rosalind Russel in the waiting room, making inflammatory arthritis glamorous again. As it should be.

They kept scheduling appointments with their "scheduler" who would tell me to wait a week and call back. Finally after a month and three appointments with the "scheduler" they told me they're not accepting new patients.

My first visit back was with NP Delaney Wong and she was incredibly caring, comprehensive, and thorough. I then made an appointment with Dr. Alsayed and since then she's become my GP, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the care I've since gotten. Every referral than I needed was immediately given and every concern that I had was met with open ears and comprehensive solutions. The facility itself is incredibly clean, with a great system of checking in and a fantastic pharmacy. Everyone is friendly, and although they do have rules about being late, if you respect those rules, the experience will be one of the best you can get in terms of medical treatment here in San Francisco. It's a small facility but it's a great one to have as a primary care office. The other services can be found at other locations but it's lovely to have a nice quiet office with staff that REALLY cares for your needs in the Clement offices.

Alee, Michelle, and Corbin were all phenomenal, as was the entry nurse who took my vitals. They took my Kaiser insurance and gave me stitches for $40 and I was home by 7:30pm. From my girlfriend:…read more I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at Carbon Health because it was truly disappointing and upsetting. At the time, I was between health insurance plans and had to pay out of pocket. I went in for what started as a small cut on my nose that turned into a rash after using Neosporin for several days. I had done my research and suspected it was a Neosporin reaction, but when I saw Dr. Aadil Vora, he seemed rushed and did not take my concerns seriously. Instead, he assumed I had MRSA because of my past hospital work and prescribed antibiotics without testing me. He also told me I was contagious, which left me in tears and very anxious, especially since I was scheduled to leave for Hawaii two days later. He reassured me by saying I could go in the ocean because "it would be healing"--which is dangerous advice if someone truly has MRSA. I was never tested, yet he strongly insisted I continue the antibiotics even when my symptoms worsened. My rash grew, became painful and discolored, and I knew something was wrong. I insisted going back to carbon health to get tested, and they finally tested me and I had to pay an additional fee after the out of pocket fee. Once in Hawaii, I went to urgent care where they properly tested me--that day, my results came back and were NEGATIVE for MRSA. The doctor in Hawaii confirmed it looked like a Neosporin rash, prescribed different medication, and within two days my skin was healing. When I updated Dr. Vora, he dismissed her findings and told me I should go to the ER for IV treatment, which made me lose all trust in his judgment. This experience left me not only frustrated but also scared, and it cost me a significant amount of money out of pocket. I will not be returning to Carbon Health, as I did not feel I received safe, evidence-based care or compassion from the provider I saw.

This review is long overdue. This place is a dump with incompetent staff (I'm not referring to…read moredoctors which are not a problem here). - the nurse administered a shot to my child (2 year old), scratched the her thigh with needle and spilled at least half of the shot out. What kind of pediatrician office does not know how to work with children when giving them shots? They gave no restraining instructions to my husband and traumatized my child for any further shots. - the waiting area is disgustingly dirty with black mold all over top window nets. Kids toys are very dirty. - when we have urgent issue or illness we are never seen. The office is always booked up. We end up going to urgent care nearby instead. -front desk stuff is incompetent and gives out wrong information on several occasions. This is too bad because I have nothing negative to say about their doctors.

Was refer by my OB doc saying the Carol Lee Is a good doc…read more But I don't even want to give them 1 Star 1. I can't say Dr Lee is good or not but I'm 5 years we supposed to see her but the apt always came out with another doc. We only get to see her within 5times in 5 years. 2. Lee always says she's about to retire and don't really wanna stay that much time in the clinic but it's hard to find more doc to stay in the clinic so she has no choice but to come back to the clinic. 3. Docs in this clinic always in the rush , they are nice but not like they are sincerely wanna help you 4. Wait time to see the doc is always more than 1 hour. But there was one time or twice that we were late for 10mins the nurse threatened us that if it happens again. Don't come to their clinic. They won't accept us anymore in a super rudeeeee way ! I mean , what ?? Excuse me ???? 5. I really really really wanna point out that the nurse with short hair that she's been there the longest time. She's the lead of the front desk I believe. She's the one that actually make us wanna truly leave this office. She's super mean always rude. Every single time ! The way how she talk is mean , no matter what question or you wanna make apts with her. She either said : you'd not see I'm busy ? I'm busy , no time to help you with that , you go home we will call you! And there was one time the doc even asked her to print out the paper for us. It only takes 3 secs I can say !! You guess what she responded ? I'm busy this week. No time to do that , I call you next week ! But at the same time she's only chatting with the coworker. ! ! 6. My friend went there, they did the wrong shot to the baby !!!!! And ask the parent bring back the baby do another shot ! Is it ridiculous??? Anyway , waste of time to visit this clinic. Don't come !
