I also obtained independent opinions that the secondary heat exchanger was defective. During this time, my wife and I were experiencing headaches while using the furnace. After requesting the company inspect the issue, I was told to stop contacting them. I had a very disappointing experience and now working with another contractor that did a replacement. His company, whom I did not talk to about his inappropriate behaviors, added a message to my record stating not to do business with me again. I discovered this message when I called to have the plumber's work evaluated due to possible issues I was having regarding his work. The Office Manager stated although she and the others in the office did not work for Trudell when this occurred, I would have to discuss this further with the owners since they already had a conversation with me and made the determination not to do business with me. I responded that I had not talked with the owners and that the phone number she stated was in error. It became apparent the plumber had misrepresented me to the owners, and the owners did not care to investigate what had occurred. I waited a few days to see if the owners would contact me, but since they did not, I decided to review this company with a red flag warning with a comment "Very Poor Customer Service."

Besides painting the walls, they did an excellent job of repairing and patching the small holes and dings in the drywall. Everything was done to our satisfaction and the painters did an excellent job. The previous owners had painted over some wallpaper glue in the power room and it was proving very stubborn to get rid of.
