But I'm writing this review because of my nephew, the new teacher of the school, Mrs.wiled was very unprofessional and seems to maybe be racist, My nephew was in class not even a full hour after school started and one of his classmates started picking on him calling him names and even cotton picker then proceeded to slap his neck, my nephew then yelled Stop hitting me! and Mrs.Wiled then told my nephew to Shut up your being innoying, then my nephew proceeded to try and get his lick back (only because his teacher "Mrs. Wiled" didn't intervene and make him important enough to find out why he is yelling stop ). while my nephew tried to defend himself the other student ran from my nephew and then Mrs. Wiled decided to send my nephew to the office crying and told the other student who verbally and physically assaulted my nephew to have a seat and not to act that way in class I'm confused on her discipline method and I'm worried for the safety of my nephew for him being mistreated and disregarded because of favoritism and or possibly racism the way she handled the situation was wrong, Point blank. mrs. Wilde needs to apologize to my nephew and learn to treat every child no matter what race, equally, and if she's having a day where she wants to show her true colors she should have a sub fill-in for her.

Encanto is an excellent K-3 school with an award-winning dual language program. Arizona teacher of the year Michelle Doherty is a long-time member of the faculty. The school offers, music, art, PE, and gives special attention to making sure that all students are reading at grade level. My wife and both my children attended this school, and enjoyed the lovely campus with open areas and large classrooms. Please visit some time--your child will be glad you did!

If you want your child to have a good education, this is not the school to send them to. The…read moreteachers in upper grades do not clearly explain to the students what is expected of them. These are elementary children, not high school or college students. They seem to favor certain children here and make it hard for others. I know many parents who already have or will be sending their kids to different schools, as will I. They allow bullying with no consequence and now today, sexual harassment. When asked for a meeting with the culprit's family and school resource officer, I was told there is no resource officer and there will be no meeting, therefore leaving me unable to defend my child. Don't send your child to this school
