Jessica the owner seemed like such a nice girl. But she clearly does not care as evidenced by her refusal to email me back, call me back, anything me back. So, my saga begins. I joined up, paid the initial charge, saw withdrawals coming out of my account as recently as May 9. Wasn't going to the gym much but that's my problem, not theirs's. But when I finally DID arrive to work out my scan thingy didn't work. Knocked on glass door. Saw people inside. Knocked and knocked, no one came. Went home sad, fat and out of shape. Went online. Found the number. Called the number. Left a voice mail. sent a very friendly email explaining what was going on. Was it my key card? Was it my bank? Was it my choice of gym shorts? What was it? What is it? Why aren't you getting back to me? I'm ignored. Left, probably 8 messages in the past week. Ignored... Desperate, I went online and 'pretended' to set up a Personal Instructor appointment just so someone, ANYONE, would call me back. And lo and behold, someone DID. I think his name was Dan and he was a really nice polite guy. Even though it wasn't his job, he said he'd try to fix my problem and let the owners know. Problem wasn't fixed. I kept calling and leaving messages. This week I drove back to the club. Tried my scan thingy again. Didn't work again. I knocked on the glass again and again. Finally a very nice lady who gives a class, (we'll call her Ms. M) opened up the door, let me in, even let me take my puppy into the air conditioning, let me explain to her what's going on. She fiddled with the computer system and said it didn't look like I was a member. She then texted Mr. Owner, Jessica's husband, maybe? She made direct contact with him. Told him who I was and what was wrong. He texted back to Ms. M, that he would "take a look at it tonight". Never heard from him... Ever... So I think I'm done with FitClub. How weird that I was a happily paying customer eager to use their club, and had to beg and beg and beg for someone to get back to me to work out what's going on, and I was completely and utterly IGNORED. So I got screwed out of some $$$. They took my money but would not let me in to work out. I spent WAY too much of my life trying to do business with these folks and the message I got was silence, or rather, a resounding: WE DON'T CARE. As long as they don't take any more money out of my account, fine. I'll just take my licks and move on. But OH MY GOD if they have the audacity to withdraw another dime from my account ... Hoo boy! Anyway, take my advice folks. Go five hundred feet up the road from there and join the Asylum. They answer on the first ring! Signed, Fat and Frustrated

This gym has been charging people since the beginning of the pandemic despite not being open to…read morethese same members. To make things worse, they have been deleting comments and complaints from their social media accounts and have been defending their unfair business practices by claiming that because they offer virtual classes they have a RIGHT to continue charging their members. I was able to cancel my account, thankfully. Although other members have been charged multiple times despite cancelling. Stay far away from this gym.

Her nutritional classes are also a great hit is not about what not to eat but what can you eat to achieve your goals of feeling better in your own body. The individual classes are done in such a comfortable environment and the group classes (my favorites) are just a lot of fun. When I offered to discuss this with them they declined. This is not trauma informed care and opens them to a potential lawsuit for discrimination against people with disabilities covered by the ADA.
