Our workout consisted of a warmup with battleropes, a HIIT style workout where we alternated between exercises on TRX bands and kettlebells, a cardio blast involving tag team sprinting and wall sits, and concluded with partner ab workouts using medicine balls and leg raises. I loved the energy, the music and the compact space. For the ladies, I also want to say that Gina is so thoughtful and hospitable! She had all sorts of personal care items, from lotion and tissues to hair ties and female hygiene products! Apologies to those to whom this info is not relevant, but I really felt that this level of care and detail taken to equip the bathroom was worth noting. They were supposed to only charge my card when I had training sessions. And then when I started investing I found out they changed my rates and never told me. Gym seriously went downhill quickly. When I canceled my membership I was told they deleted my card....well about 3 years later they started charging my card when I wasn't even a member. It's about mental towards yourself and working out. The nutrition is part of it as well. The physical fitness work outs... From 5am to last class at 6:30... Each class is 45 minutes long.... Warm, stretch. Jacks... The main course...core and plank! Monday and Wednesday core, Tuesday upper body strength training. Thursdays lower body. And Friday... My favorite KICKBOXING!!! Bonus classes on Saturdays as well. But not every Saturday..... Weights, bands, for kickboxing- bags and gloves.. in purchased my own gloves.... Can't make it in the the centre??? They have live classes via Zoom and recorded classes via online... Instructors.. World class!!! Eachone has their one personality. They truly cares about you. And great sense a humor. Each brings inspirations to make great experience. Mentality part...... I have tried numerous times at your standard gym.. And failed.... And failed... At the Max.. You feel like you are a family... everyone who has their own goals and only competition is between you and yourself. Speaking of family many family members are going.. You are not barked at in class the way some HIIT classes are run elsewhere, and they get to know you and know what motivates you. Each day class focuses on something different (fat blasting, strength, etc) so you are always using different muscles and your body doesn't adjust to the same routine and you consistently see results. The best part is very flexible class times, from 5:15am to 6:45pm, so no excuses that you can't make it! And it's only 30 min long, that includes stretching before and after class. You can also get nutritional instruction and become part of a workout family. Highly recommend if you need smart, helpful people to help you achieve your fitness goals. For me I have lost weight, toned up, my face cleared up (not going to lie, you sweat A LOT in class), and I started sleeping 8 hours a night instead of my usual 5 or 6. I carry a few attachments which definitely differ in appearance than what they have on the floor. However, today in the bumper plate room, there were eight 45 lb plates that belong on a regular floor, which takes them out of use for those machines. Other plates aren't supposed to be used. There's a sign stating that rule. Yet, nothing is done because this is not the first time. I'm all for the high school and college kids coming in at a reduced price and working out but they need to follow the same rules. A lot of them have no gym etiquette, not to mention they're going to hurt themselves with some of the s*** that I've seen. If you want to bust on me for hanging my bag on a cable machine on one of the handles that keeps it off the floor and tell me it could be a trip hazard. Yet, weights thrown about the floor in 'bumper plate' room is not?
