It's a shame I can't go lower than one star. I have had AT&T Mobile for 15 years. Not perfect but I have been loyal. I switched to u-verse at home from bright house a year ago and the modem has been an issue 3 times. After scheduling a service call the first tech called and left with in minutes and after we called AT&T they assured us they would be back by 8:00pm. Not ideal but they gave us no other option. Then they no showed. Still weak service and weak Internet. Switching back to bright house even though they are overpriced at least it works! Do not use Uverse in Orlando anyway. It truly sucks from top to bottom! read more

This is so misleading. They false advertise everything and on top of that I had to pay for their mistake. I was offered 250 for internet and cable when I ordered online. Was given the run around for a month! They always say, "well I don't see anything in the notes." How about reading what products I have instead of relying on notes. I intend to cancel my contract! Hurricane Irma! Went to my local ATT store first thing in the morning 3 days before Hurricane Irma hit. Why? I damaged my equipment prepping for the storm & needed a replacement, upgrade what ever I could get. BUT THE STORE WAS CLOSED! WENT TO A LOCAL COMPUTER STORE and they are my new heroes. read more

Terrible! I wanted to start with the internet service only. I put all information online, but they told me to call them. I called them and requested a supervisor after talking for a customer representative. He gets help from everyone from different departments. Finally, he told me to go to the ATT store. At&t uverse is the worst internet and cable provider out there I had them for less than a year and at least twice a week my internet and cable would go down so I would have to call them to come out here and fix it there was 3x or I had no internet or cable for 4 days they are the worst and I advise you to never ever get them even if they have an amazing deal you will regret it in the end read more

We moved to Deland a year ago and set up an appointment to have internet installed. We had to wait a week - then the technician never showed up. We had to wait another week - the technician showed up, but said that it was "too hot" to install Internet and I'd have to call and get a morning appointment. He had a crap attitude and said that he wasn't going to "have a stroke just so I could watch videos online." I called his supervisor immediately - he ended up installing the internet that day. However, whenever we lost internet service, we would end up on hold on the telephone for at least an hour. We would get passed from one person to another. When we lost internet this last time, they told us that it would be at least a week before a technician could come - maybe more. I was fed up - I WORK fulltime online and can't be without internet for a week or two at a time. SO, we switched to Spectrum only to find that their service is even worse! Our internet constantly drops - at least a dozen times a day and sometimes dozens of times a day. We have had several technicians from the company out here and each time, they say that is fixed, but it never is. So - now, we have to go back to ATT. This is absolutely miserable. read more

Have had a horrible time with ATT high speed internet (when it actually works). Very unreliable service and terrible support/customer service! You have to continually reset modem and backup power supply which is difficult to do if you are not there. Contacting them by phone to try and resolve problems is extremely painful and time consuming. I scheduled an appointment where technician did not show up. Apparently my time is not important at all to ATT. The service is very expensive AND for what you get (which is fair internet service at times) extremely disappointing! Unfortunately there are few options in our area, however we will be trying one of the other options. read more

Wow, after reading all the reviews, NONE were even mediocre, it confirms what I've long believed. AT&T is still one of the worst companies anywhere. I thought they may have cleaned up their act. I had DSL and other service from AT&T years ago and it was HORRIBLE. I worked with them over 30 years ago on projects in the IT arena and even back then they were HORRIBLE. They erroneously applied a payment to my account in excess of $1,356. I called them about it when i noticed and was told I wouldn't need to make a payment, my account has this credit for whatever reason. Ok, come January I call again, and again they tell me the same thing. In February I made a payment, as I still noticed the credit there. I called again, and once again was told not to make any payments. March 3rd/5th i chatted with them to confirm because here we are a few months in. Again, no don't make any payments. Well after that chat i guess the person who should have had the payment applied to their account called and the credit was taken out. Now my account is past due. AT&T blowing up my phone and sent me a notice that my account is going to be interrupted. Tuesday, march 10 my service was interrupted. I call them and spoke to Ms. Pear who had the only attitude. She asked my why didn't i still make my normal payments. well, your company told me not to that is why! Asked to talk to manager, spoke with Katu/kantu who was worse than she was. Started to berate me in a disparaging manner. Had the nerve to talk down to me and tell me "well let me explain it to you like this, if you have $100 and.." completely out of line. He told me I needed to make a payment in order to get reinstated. See, my point was not that I did not want to pay. My point was, you should reinstate my service and put me on a payment plan out of courtesy. I wasn't delinquent due to my negligence but theirs. He said no so i told him to disconnect he said hold on and transferred me to Fernando. Spoke with him, he gave me a $60 and said if i make a payment of $113.75 my service would be restored. I made the payment yet my service was not restored. I called yesterday and they said they would expedite my request, again no service. This morning i wake up and yet again no service. I had tv and internet service for years with att. Never again. They provide great tv service but as far as leaving them, good luck. I have been asking for a paper bill for two months. Nothing, now they say i owe triple and never received a bill. They're billing department is so bad. Do yourself a favor, forget unprofessional att and go with a dependable source. I can't get anyone to talk to me. Wait time is 2 hours. If they harm my credit, my dad, the lawyer, will sue and they can pay me. I hope that they fail like trump and go away forever. read more

OMG do not use ATT Uverse! Against my better judgement, I decided to go with ATT over Brighthouse when I moved into my new apartment. The technician arrived (nice guy) was at my house all day (Saturday) trying to get the service to work. At the end of the day he apologized and said "sorry there is something wrong on the back end, have to try again Monday", ... okay crap a weekend without service. Monday comes (of course I have to take time off work to accommodate ATT schedule) the second tech is at my house several hours and also still can't get it working. He also said seems they can't get the back end fixed. He will have them work on it Tuesday day and when I get home from work it should be working, if not just call him. I got home from work (not working), surprised? No not really, so I call the tech and get no answer. I left him a message and got no return call. I called him again about an hour later and still got no answer or return call. I called ATT said what's up?!?!? They say, seems there is a back end problem if your service is still not working we need to send a tech tomorrow to fix it, we have an available appointment window from 10am-2pm. What??? you want me to take more time off work when I have given you guys 3 attempts to fix it and been without service for a week now? They replied yes... I said, okay I dont want your service anymore. They replied that's fine, please return the equipment to a UPS store. They refused to come collect the equipment which they never completed installation of. I told them I am not doing crap, you can send the tech here to get it when I am home. She apologised and said that is not our return policy, until the equipment is returned you will be billed monthly for the equipment... my God just typing this story is getting me pissed off all over again. SO anyways I called Brighthouse they are scheduling a tech to come tomorrow (in the after hours) to do the install. DO NOT BE TEMPED BY ATT PRICES OR HIGH-SPEED CLAIMS. ITS NOT WORTH IT! read more

Have to call tech support at least twice a month. Several times per week I'm resetting the router. Today, we're done. Asked them to switch services to a new location a month from now and they shut it off today. 5 hours after our call they still haven't resolved this. Everyone in my house works online; they just cost my family a whole days income and based on their actions, they literally couldn't care less. read more

Have had several incidents open and problem is worse than when initial call was made! Started out with slow internet and now TV (3) is so pixalated I cannot watch normal TV! But On Demand is alright! Run away from U-verse as fast as you can. AT&T has provided the worst customer support I've had in my entire life. These guys make verizon FIOS look like a 5 star operation. So far it's taken me 120 mins in the phone to try and get them to ship me a replacement router. The original never worked. As soon as you ask them a question not on their preprogrammed reply sheet they put you on hold and transfer you to someone else. I actually had one of them call me and about two mins into the conversation it was clear I had exceeded his mental capacity...so he put me on hold. After 20 mins I got tired and hung up on him. We cancelled our entire account with them before we even got a chance to have it installed and went to spectrum. At&t has hands down the WORST customer service ever. No one seems to be properly trained or know what packages they even offer. We spoke to 5 different people and got 5 different answers. We had one cancel our order for installation Wednesday and not even make a new one or give us a call back like he said he would. We spoke to another associate named Alan that promised to get our Wednesday installation date back because they were trying to push it to Friday or Saturday AFTER the previous associate had cancelled our order without even making a new one in place of the old one. This Alan character had us on the phone for an hour and decided to hang up when we tried to verify that the technicians would be out on Wednesday like we originally had planned. We called back and got a hold of a supervisor who didn't seem to care either. Takes forever for them to come out due to "3rd party technicians" schedules. We were also offered a 50, 100, and 150 dollar visa by 3 different employees due to all the inconveniences we experienced. Yeah, right. Lol. Spectrum came out within two days. You have to pay up front but it was cheaper. With the 44.99 and a 60 dollar installation fee it came out to 109. At&t was going to charge us 160. Get more techs out in the Orlando area and retrain your customer service reps At&t. Pathetic company. read more

Where do I begin ! WHAT EVER YOU DO - DO NOT SIGN UP WITH AT&T FIBER ! I have had it one month - the Internet is terrible and my tv goes out at least once a week ! The cable lines they dig in your yard to bury wires sat for three weeks before they came out ! The support team on the phone are idiots and told me my dvr box was bad - sent a new one over a week ! It wasn't the box it is their service ! Got new box to see what was truth had tv for 3 days and bam no tv - have to keep resetting ( hard reset ) the box cause when you turn on the tv w dvr it always has a red x ! I also paid $ 99. For some one to come out and tell me my internet is on point - what point ? where to hell ? ! I am BEYOND SAD I didn't RESEARCH THIS COMPANY BEFORE I SIGNED UP WHICH BUT THE WAY THE LITTLE PRICK KID whom was around the neighbor hood selling it - LIED AND SAID THERE WAS NO CANCELLATION FEE MY BUTT - $169 ! Where do I start with terrible service I've had with Uverse. I signed up for uverse because I had been an ATT customer since 2007. A few days after getting the U300 my services went out. A tech came out and "fixed" everything. Two days later my services went out again. I called in and was told by costumer service to restart things. Things again were temporarily fixed. The following day my services went out. I again called and told the solution was to "reboot the modern everyday". This obviously was not acceptable. They finally decided to send a tech out again but instead disconnected my service. The tech showed up the and could not do anything until they reactivated my account. I then had to call which they rushed through. They supposedly reactivated my account with the initial deal for $135 but turns out the actually are now charging me $171. I called to have this fixed and was told it was by the supervisor. instead I was charged $189.02. When I called back to get things fixed I had nothing but run around and them trying to find a way to still charge me a higher rate. Additionally when I asked for my information and recording from the conversations I've had they flat out refused to. I've never been more frustrated. If this is not fixed I will be taking my business elsewhere for my cellular and cable/internet. read more

If you get this service watch out.I Give them a credit card to sign up for their service. Once you sign up they keep your number. We stopped the service in August 2016 because of VERY bad service with billing. Now in February 2017 they TOOK over $300.00 out of my account after the account was closed the final bill was $65.00 which was paid in full in February when they sent the bill. If I could give negative stars I would. U- verse is aware that for two years the outside cover is missing to their box on the pole and we do not have a complete hook up to their service. Everyday we have problems with our dvr and Internet. My iPad has not been used out of the house this month. It's been on my "wifi". But it's been using my data. Our bill double in cost last month and this month. We unplug all our whole sure mat lease twice a day. All they do is send out technicians that tell us the problem who promise to send PI the technicians who can fix the problem but they never come. They refuse to give us credit as in fix the problem and give us some free service or adjustment on the bill. We've been promised adjustments by supervisors that see the problem has been ongoing and that our system is down but we've never received what was promised. So we put full price for a device that works 60% of the time and 0% almost everyday. Run run run from u-verse with AT&T. read more

The worse. Tried this. Had all new lines run in the house. Loved the equipment with wireless additional boxes, but the service would continue to go out over and over again. AT&T treated it like a new incident each time and found many many problems with the service, after 4 or 5 months I switched and was able to cancel after 12 months. They kept saying that if I don't have a contract on the wires (that they ran), I might have to pay if it's something to do with them. I told them I wouldn't pay since they just ran the wires. This was each and every time. Horrible service, they wouldn't admit a problem. The infrastructure in old wiring didn't support tv and internet. Funny thing, when I went to return the boxes at the local UPS, there was a huge stack of them!! So, visit your local UPS store, if you are thinking about this service in your area. This was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered an upgrade to my internet service on Wednesday. I was told, and received an email, stating that a technician would arrive to install new equipment on Thursday between 9 and 11. At noon on Thursday, I called AT&T because the technician did not show up. I was placed on hold for quite a while, then transferred to a company that was not AT&T and was asked me for my conference call code--they were a conference call company and had nothing to do with AT&T. After that awkward exchange, I called AT&T again and after 3 hours of entering my phone number, stating who I was, entering/stating my pin #, being placed on hold and transferred to another department over and over, in the end I was told that a major error occurred with my order and I was promised that it would be taken care of and I would receive a call back. It is now Sunday evening, I have not heard a word from AT&T and I am researching other internet providers to contact in the morning. My next call to AT&T will be to cancel my service. read more
