Worst customer service EVER!!! Waited over a month to have a line put in and buried, this after sending several techs out (or not). First one turned in ticket saying work was done when it wasn't, second tech (3 1/2 weeks later) buried the old line, finally after 5 1/2 weeks got new line buried, now waiting for yet another tech to come out and hook it up. Would NEVER recommend AT&T Uverse to anyone!!!!! I wouldn't have it except my husband doesn't want the hassle of changing companies. lol read more

Their Customer Service, SUCKS. We started asking prices on combo directv and internet, at $65, then got call to further process internet and told that it was $80 a month combo, so i cancelled tv and kept internet. Well, had to call 5 or 6 different numbers given to me by different at&t reps to finally cancel the directv. I further processed the internet and they said they would send a modem. So the modem arrived and i set it up per instructions that came with it, modem didnt work. So i called tech support to help with modem, still didnt work. So they set up a technican to come out two days later, and the tech never showed up so i called them again, and talked to a rep about the tech not showing up, so she gave me yet another phone number which turned out to be att employee hot line for field techs and salespeople that can only be navigated by att employees with their own att pin numbers, so i called att yet again to talk to someone who is "sending a tech tomorrow". Im not confident the tech will show based on my awful experience. I just need their internet to stream since everyone says it is great for streaming. But their customer service is a train wreck. There is absolutely no structure to their cus tomer service, and im afraid if my internet goes down, ill be fighting a bunch of clueless morons trying to get it going again. I havent experienced the internet service yet, but im praying its not any where near as bad as customer service. read more

I don't even want to rate them with a 1. They are a complete 0. WORST customer service ever puts it mildly. Need competition in my area so I don't ever, EVER have to use them again. No way to complain to the company. Spent hours getting the run-around in solving a billing snafu they did not respond to. Unbelievable company. Trying to gain customer confidence - but this long time customer is very anxious to leave them. Please - somebody get to the rural areas so AT&T is not our only choice!!! read more

BEWARE! I would like to start out by saying that Att Uverse is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with, with the most UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES that deliver the WORST customer service! As a manager of a very large corporation in the customer service industry it is my job to deliver impeccable customer service and insure my employees follow suit as they are a reflection of ME. Lets just say my experiences today had me so disgusted today we canceled our services immediately! For starters-from the very first day of switching to your company from charter (where we were loyal customers for 10 years) we experienced constant drops in service, for DAYS at a time. We do not live in a country area, and all our wires are underground in our 8 year old house to prevent such things from happening. I have spent so much time on the phone going through a never ending "let's troubleshoot your system" process just to be told "I'm sorry i need to send out a tech" which meant we had to take time off of our jobs to be home!! Once or twice but several times a wk-a month...????-strike 1 ATT Next, our bill was constantly fluctuating. Promotions end, etc. Recently our bill skyrocketed so my husband called called and was told the only way to get it back down (60$ is how much is jumped!) was to install Dish Network. So, we paid the upfront installation fee and took a day off of work to have that done. Turned out we were unable to have that done because of trees in our yard the technician said. So, back on the phone I went. I told whoever I spoke with that we were going to cancel and go back to Charter where our bill would be significantly lower and television service would be much better. The person I spoke with wanted to keep our business and said they could get us a price of (I don't recall the exact dollar amount) I believe it was around 120-130$/month. This was around 10-20$ more than what we were paying but we agreed to avoid the hassle of canceling and having another company come out and take more time off of work. Tell me why every month when our bill comes it is not what we were told so I have to call and have our account credited??? Is that why you offer the direct debit option, Att? Because you hope customers do not check the bill before their accounts debited for whatever amount you choose that month???-Strike 2 ATT The real kicker happened yesterday. I called and spoke with a Rose (who is the most unprofessional person you have representing you!!) in your customer service department about our bill that yet again was up at least $50 over what it should be. Rose was less than helpful, tried to just get me off the phone without trying to help and then when I asked nicely to be transferred to a supervisor I was told "no." NO?! Excuse me?????? I asked, then demanded, several times and each and every time was told "no, ma'am, he will just tell you no, too." So, she transferred me to a nicer lady who I had to explain the whole story to again. He was unable to help so I asked, yet again, for a supervisor and eventually just asked to have him call me because I couldn't wait on hold any longer (this was after hour 1 on the phone). I asked her to promise me I would get a call. DO YOU THINK THE MANAGER EVER CALLED!?!?!??!! So I called back and went through it all AGAIN. Spoke to a nice man and immediately asked for a manager m, had to tell him the whole story for him to say he couldn't help (even though I wasn't asking for his help I was asking for the manager I had been waiting for). I told him to cancel our service, we were done playing games. How can a company with recorded calls LIE to you??? Tell you your new bill will be x amount of dollars to keep you but then not stick with it??? Then NOT transfer you to a manager or even a supervisor when you ask or return your call?? Where I work, I follow up with every customer in store. If I am asked to speak with someone I do so that instant to help rectify the situation!! So while canceling we had questions about our bill that the gentlemen could NOT answer. We wanted to know being the middle of a billing cycle what we owe. How can someone not have such an answer? Do you think he asked for assistance to get that answer for us? Do you think he got us a supervisor when I again asked for one to get the answer we needed???????? Nope, but he did transfer my call to COLLECTIONS Department!? I finally did get to speak to a "supervisor" who was so rude, told me I was wrong and her people are correct then hung up as I was asking a question. Yes, hung up. 3 hours of my day wasted. Do you think that manager ever called back? Do you think the one from 2 hours before ever called like I was promised?-STRIKE 3 ATT!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THEM!!!
