Spectrum Internet has been an awesome adventure for me. Upon moving to a small MI town, I learned if I bought a Samsung TV, I could eliminate Dish or Direct TV boxes, cords, charges, etc. I contacted Spectrum and it was so easy to set up. They sent me a modem and router and the needed cords and I set it up myself. I stream all my favorite platforms and don't have to pay for the 150 channels I don't watch. And what a savings! This location is a complete joke. There are plenty of employees here, and all I want to do is replace some equipment that tech support told me was too old and after some grid update is no longer going to work. This, is inconvenient, the absolutely ridiculous wait time, was frustrating, and what I saw unfold during my wait, was infuriating. I'll say, I know the general public is full of completely tech illiterate people who need the simplest things explained to them three or four times in increasing detail, and take forever because they have nothing better to do, but the employees are not helping. Every time the finish up with someone, they just stand there on their phone or disappear into the back. By my estimation, the average person has taken 10 - 15 minutes start to finish to "help", then there's another 10 - 15 minutes for the employee to call another name after that. They need a dedicated return equipment line. To the poor individual who replies to all of these reviews, I don't want to see your vapid and hopeless attempt at reconciliation, I don't have any social media, so I won't be DMing you anywhere. Your solution is making an appointment, but my Internet went down in the middle of the night and I had to work all day. If my equipment became outdated because of your update, I should be able to waltz in and have a new one reasonably quickly. I pay a lot of money for this often lackluster Internet service, because of course, they're the only game in town and can be as pathetic as they want. I highly recommend any possible competitors if they are available in your area. I came in today to return there equipment back to them because I am moving to Texas and it was 25 people ahead of me. and I had to wait 2 hours just to return and sign some paperwork! They kept talking people with appointments before walking and not all customers service reps. We're working and they was taking 40 mins on each customer. I loathe coming into this store. Longest lines and reps are slow. If you don't schedule an appt then plan on waiting over an hour. Of course if you do have an appt you'll still be waiting because a rep will be sitting not helping or going to break and the mgr no where to be found or stands there as a greeter Literally walked in over an hour ago and 5 reps "seeing people" and literally rep is now helping people and the line is 20+ people read more

Spectrum has cornered the market for cable television. As such their prices are sky rocketing. My bill recently went up to 150.00. I called and asked why and they had no answer. They said it was going to continue to go up over the next two years. I asked them what it will be in two years. They said 253.00. That's fucking ridiculous. There's no reason for it to be that expensive other than greed. Don't get me started on their recent ad campaign with that idiot hollering and being obnoxious. Every time it comes on I change the channel. If there was another cable company to choose from I would jump ship. I might anyways. With All the streaming channels, who needs cable anyway? read more

Pray that you never have to engage with support or make changes to an account. Don't expect the same service as larger carriers, in terms of flexibility with offers, changes to an account or even simplifying a billing statement. Phone support will tell you to come in, then this store will tell you to go home and call support. It's 2022, how hard is it to move an existing customer from one Spectrum account to another? Just moved to Saginaw and got screwed over by AT&T. Scheduled internet transfer and asked for technician install, they sent me cords and told me to do it myself. They said it be ready by 2 then by 6 then Wednesday. I need internet to work my job. Got an offer from apartment complex for spectrum then got a new modem and installed the same day. My apartment has connection issues but they got me a technician the next day. The internet is perfect!!! Whoever the manager of this location is, must be impressed with their employees. I came in an hour before they closed and there was a line. Every staff member was kind, courteous and genuine. Thank you Chris for your help, greatly appreciated!
