I went in to create a new phone line and bundle my Internet. I was helped by Jessica. She was very knowledgeable about the AT&T process & answered all of my questions. I did not feel like she was pushing me to get the fanciest plan on with the best phone but was considering what my needs for the device were. I am very happy with my service so far. Horrible horrible service by Itzel and Kevyn. Went in to get the phone for online pickup, guy gave me a phone without making me sign anything for it, said "my manager's not in so just take it" and then they proceeded to shut off my service the next day after calling to say "whoops we shouldnt have done that now you're gonna be blacklisted" because they made a mistake and gave me a random phone. So hey, that's insane behavior Kevyn! Update: we went in to get it fixed, and Itzel said we had to pay the bill before they can restore the service. We were confused because it was paid. They said essentially that sucks, gotta pay again. And we got upset. We don't want to pay $265 when it has already been paid AND we had proof it was paid. Itzel steps away without a word to go into the bathroom, and we hear her yelling and talking about us when we were feet away, saying some really obscene things. This is a formal complaint for AT&T location: 131 E Katella Ave Ste 20 Anaheim, CA 92802 Be aware! False Advertisement! And the manager Boris (Went to Santa Ana Location and NOW have left AT&T for other company. Telling me now he has no responsibility to assist.) lost my other phone from T-Mobile for Trade-ins to AT&T! Or whatever happened! They will sweet talk you into signing the contract but when your bill comes out, none of the promised promotion will be applied!I signed with AT&T on Sept 25th for 2 iPhone 13. (Please make sure to receive the signed contract. They will NOT give it to you even if you ask for it! And later they will come up with other excuses to bill you for more.) They had a promotion in which if you return your current phone and you receive $ 800.00 promotion amount in which will be applied into your installment where you will end up paying $ 0.00 for your iPhone 13. I returned my devices on Sept 28th and returned another phone on the 30th ish. one of the promotion got applied but after 2 months still the other promotion isn't applied. I called into AT&T trying to figure out when the next promotion will be applied, but yet they tell me THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE PHONE! Went into AT&T store to find out that Boris the manager is far gone to the Santa Ana location and no where to be found and I am being charged for the installment fee of the phones on a monthly basis and there is nothing they can do! I asked for security footage of the video where it clearly shows my wife returning the phone but obviously they declined to share. And also, below are the promotions that AT&T representative promised me during signing the contract but NEVER received any of them. 1. $ 10.00 off on mobile bill per line for the next 20 months for (Switching from T-mobile to AT&T) - Finally received them after 3 months of calling and bothering. 2. 25% Discount on the mobile bill per line for signing up for Fiber Optics AT&T Internet along with the mobile - Finally able to receive them after 3 months of bothering them 3. Trade in credit - one of my phone is long gone and unable to be found - Still haven't received it as they lost my phone from T-Mobile 4. $ 200.00 sign in credit gift card for signing up with AT&T Fiber Optics internet - Still haven't received this after 9 months of being with AT&T I would say overall this is a horrible experience and will NEVER recommend AT&T! Went in for a battery issue on my phone, I will say the two guys there were super nice initially but while waiting to see if my phone would charge on their cord one associate said he could "lower my bill" by adding a line. Some promotion or something. He said he could save me $10/mo which obv equates to about $120 per year. He looked up my account and quoted me $10 less. This was feb 19th. I told him I didn't have a phone to put the SIM card in, he said just to toss it, didn't need to be used, id still get the promo. Fast fwd to yesterday when I looked at my cc statement and the amount seemed higher. The associate ADDED a line to my account for $50 plus a $10 savings per month. So he actually raised my bill about $48 per month. Total scam and a way to fill their added line quota. Next call will be to switch to Verizon. read more

Att is a nightmare. Look at all Ive been through. Stay away! Main issue and defaulting issue resulting in cancellation (7 lines ported 2 accts activated 1 ported number disapeared from activation list 4 ported numbers would not activate Inability to resolve issue Combined collective attempts to contact, explain, report, and resolve issue of 7 hours. Called 855-858-2725, 800-331-0500, 800-844-5175, 888-898-7685 (port & activations, 866-895-1097, 800-331-0500, Went to Target store tech dept 5 times in an effort to fix, resolve, activate phones. Most of the time att reps were not there. There were no signs or hours of operation listed or posted anywhere. Upon asking Target employees nobody knew how to contact or track down att target store reps. Went to Att store in anaheim ( haster/ katella) reps at this store also could not resolve activation issue. Instead they directed me to cancel and resign up with them. Reps at this store as well as the garden grove store state that att target reps are completely different or not actual att employees. They recommended that I track down or go back to the place where I originally signed up to resolve my issue. Chronological order of people of contact Steven (att target supervisor 714-650-7547) who messed up one of the phone orders by ordering the wrong phone. Charles (att target sales rep 714-277-9294) who attempted to fix the order by removing the phone number with the wrong phone ordered to a separate acct. Mike Lorio (att target manager 805-202-6827) heard my complaints who attempted to assist by referring to Michelle ( att retail support escalations dept 747-222-0221) Michelle then referred me to her coworker Lasonya Smith ( 2nd retail escalations dept representative) who called while I was working so I requested for her to call back. When Lasonya did not call again I recontacted Mike Lorio who then referred me yet again to another escalations representative, Ariana. Ariana tried her best but also was unable to resolve the activation issue and then referred me to Jonathan (national retail support team) who directed me to yet again to contact another number 866-238-2219. This number like all other numbers led to an endless sea of transferred calls and a remaining unresolved problem. read more

I want to give a genuine review of my visit. For the most part, everything is legit about the staff doing the best for helping out to get the best plan for the holiday. The team is non-engaging with there customers. I had to call customer service the next day because the staff that helped us was incorrect with the deductions that they initially quoted us for, and they were not current to promotions. They sent us to turn in a phone at another corporate office that was simply not needed because of the promotion. It was quite disappointing that there was a crack that was not observed if we needed it to get credited for our agreement. Luckily, I called customer service to Verify the correct credited price, and it was a $100 less than agreed, and turning in our phone was not needed. It is what it is. We sat outside in the heatwave in 100+ degrees, which was extremely uncomfortable. I will not return to this location. read more

Came in 1/30 to add a line and bring my own device. iPhone ended up not working. Couldn't complete the transaction - came up with a new idea to port my home number and may get a new phone afterall. Rep a little annoyed but happily game me the weekend hours and I hoped to be back. Checked my account this morning researching new devices and all -- I am the surprised UNproud owner a new line and a Galaxy Note phone I don't even have!!! And AT&T TV! FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even complete a transaction here. I didn't pay anything. I didn't sign anything. I have iPhones - would never pick that phone. THIS SCREAMS FRAUD!!! On hold with ATT now who is trying to fIx this mess. *****Update-- it took 38 minutes for AT&T to reverse everything. Un freaking believable. Don't go to this store, EVER. They didn't even ask for their invisible phone back and didn't ask a lot of questions, probably because this screams fraud and they KNEW it. read more

Not about the store, it's about the bad service. Had an ATT agent come out to our house, signed us up for ATT and Direct TV. #1 Anmol lied to us about the ATT service charge. She said if we cancel within a month, we wont be charged. We got charged, and she never helped us when we called her. I cant get a refund. #2, ATT wifi signal sucks. It wont even reach two rooms over, so i had no wifi in my room. #3. Had a technician come out to move the modem closer, said it would be free because no rewiring was needed, they charged us $147. #4 Tried to get a refund for all the things they said wrong, had to talk to three different agents who previously said "no problem, we will refund you", and i didnt get a refund (Melinda). Hoping Ian, the 3rd dude, after talking 2.5hrs will give me the refund. He said it'll take 30-45 days tho. Don't recommend ATT. read more

Completely useless employees. Ordered an Apple Watch online and had this as my Pick up location. Went in last night for pick up and the girl said their system was down and to come back tomorrow. So I came back this morning and had the Judith "help me." She had a crappy attitude from the beginning. Zero customer service. She said they couldn't find my order and she called someone on her cellphone who clearly just told her nothing useless. She simply told me to call and cancel the order and resubmit it. She didn't offer me any explanations or help passed that. I went to make a new line and buy a new phone I choose to give them my old phone to give me discount on a new one after a day there WiFi is to slow and the phone have some issues I came back to to give it back and I lost my line and my old phone and in the beginning they were acting with me fairly respectful and kind and nicely. When I went back to return the phone they acted with me and they canceled some money from what I paid the day before because I'm returning the phone they give me Weather because it has a problem, also they had the my old phone in the store and they don't wanna give it to me back because the manager said we don't give phones back which is a product not is mine I called back to switch to another company. I just asked them for the verification number and my account number. They said they cannot help me anymore and they told me to call customer service I called the customer service they act weird with me in the other wanna give me my verification code to not switch to another companyif I chose to put no stars on this store, I won't put any style please I don't recommend anybody to visit this company. I came in to the AT&T store today to upgrade my ancient plan and old phone. I sat down with Aspen and Mirsa, they went over the new plan with me, were very patient, and very thorough. While working with Aspen, she would take the time and confirm with me that everything was correct at every step of the way. Upon finishing, they were even able to help me with a first responder discount! Their friendliness, attention to detail, and thoroughness, made my experience an ideal one.
