I came to this T-Mobile location after taking care of some shopping at the Outlets at Orange. It's in the corner of the mall near Banana Republic. I'd felt like I'd been overpaying for internet service from Cox and both neighbors and family members recommended trying T-Mobile as they were getting excellent service while paying half of what I was. I have my phone service with T-Mobile so decided to give them a try for internet. The store itself is immaculate and the people working here are friendly, professional, and helpful. Sarah enthusiastically helped me, providing me with a wealth of information, answering all my questions, and informing me about a special free offer they had for long-term customers like me (I've had my cell service with them for 17 years). She was the epitome of exemplary customer service. I liked that T-Mobile gave me a week to try the internet service out and, if it didn't work well or I didn't like it, I could return the equipment, no charge. Sarah told me to call her if I had any problem setting up the system, placed my new router (they call it Gateway) and amplifier (Mesh) in a bag, and off I went. While this review is for the store experience and superb customer service, I must say that after an easy set-up, I'm quite happy with my T-Mobile internet service. read more

My husband and I went in to get a new cellphone for him. We were warmly greeted by Martin, and he immediately was on the case to see what was the best fit for my husband. Martin went above and beyond, and had the most patience for us both. We ended up making some changes to our plan, however Martin took the time to help us understand the new costs, and explained everything very clearly. Being there for a few hours, we also had assistance from Gabriel and Jose who were also just as friendly and patient! I had the worst experience as a customer, I wanted to upgrade my son's phone but was told to get the screen replaced down the way. When I came back, the sales rep wasn't there and they said it needed to be an authentic screen. Waited to speak with the manager and she was patronizing. Wanted to verify with her employee that the statement was true as if I was lying and waited at the block for 2 hours to get the phone fixed. I just switched from Verizon. Went to another store and there was no issue whatsoever. Don't give your business to this location, they don't care about returning customers. Only the new customers get taken care of. If I can give that manager and the store 0 stars then I would do it twice. There's a difference in following guidelines and doing the right thing, this place sucks. read more

Let me first say I am not a yelper. BUT Some of The employees in this location are absolutely terrible. Everyone seems very nice however Angelina (who knows if she's still there) adds lines on to your account and then has no follow up after doing so. Jesus the pretend manager- does not know how to help his customers properly and would rather pawn the issues off on others. And the worst? Branden Torres - the manager. Made me wait 2 hours for him to come back from "reading his emails about the situation" even though he didnt ask for any of my information. Then walked out as if he was 6feet tall and attractive. Said a bunch of nothing and dialed customer service on the store phone and walked away to yet again hide in the back office. The following day I have a $900 charge to my account. Came on Saturday 1/17 around 6 pm The 3 employees didn't even acknowledge anyone no welcome then proceeds to check in the people that came in after us so then I went up to them and told them if they can check me in and he said I would be before them that it was their fault and that it would only be 30 minutes we waited over 1 hour and a half and they proceeded to take care of 2 different families that came before us so we just ended up leaving since it would almost be 2 hours this is the worst customer service ever where it seems like they don't care about their customers. This store had great customer service over the phone, I called them and someone picked up promptly and was able to double-check that a phone was in stock for me. When I arrived at the store, we went through all the information to trade in an upgrade a phone. When they inspected my phone, it was in great condition however, they declined to accept the trade-in phone because the phone was not carrier unlocked to T-Mobile. They cited that due to the current promotion that would result in me receiving a free phone, that they required only unlocked phones be traded in. Since the phone I was after was the last one in stock, I suspect that they made up this policy to keep that phone available for Black Friday and to attract new customers as that would yield in a higher commission than processing a trade-in. After I left the store, I contacted T-Mobile chat who shared that a phone did not need to be carrier unlocked to be eligible for trade in (otherwise how would you bring your own device to switch carriers, and further provided me with a T-Mobile website that shared devices did not need to be unlocked in case I ran into the same issue. I went to another T-Mobile store that processed my upgrade without incident and did not require the phone to be carrier unlocked. read more

First off - watch out for the OTHER T-mobile store in the same shopping mall. In fact, the other one is like 100 feet away from this one. The other one is half the size, and since they aren't a corporate store, their promotions might not be the same - and service might not be as great. I actually ended up in the other one first (didn't even know there was a possibility of having two T-mobiles in the same shopping center) - and had an employee that wasn't too knowledgeable about their offerings, and seemed rather bored - almost made me look for another carrier altogether. Talk about a complete 360 of an experience at the corporate location. I was greeted almost immediately when I walked into the store by Gabriel - who was pleasant and professional the entire encounter. Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the data plan I was looking for, including setup fees, monthly costs, etc. - and also helpful when I was choosing which device to purchase, based on my needs. He went through the extra step of ensuring that my device was on, running, and also showed me basic steps on how to use it. My experience was transparent and straightforward - which makes a lot of difference these days when it comes to finding a good mobile carrier. A plus is that parking is easy (at the moment), and it's across the street from work. Will update if I run into any issues - based on how their carrier handles it - but I've heard that T-mobile typically has great customer service. Been calling around different locations trying to find the iPhone X Max & finally a location that carries them nearby my place. Went in having to wait no longer than 5 mins and then was immediately helped by DAVID! David was so helpful on setting up my new phone especially because I'm not tech savvy. He was able to erase all of the information in my old phone than uploaded everything I had on my previous iPhone 8 to my new phone within a timely matter. He also guided me into the right direction when picking out accessories like case, pop socket, & screen protector. He even applied on my new screen protector and making sure there was no air bubbles. T-Mobile is very helpful when you sign up, however there are constant problems with the tower/ 5G in my zip code and all around town, it seems. Yes my phone is up to date and it still is as slow as molasses even for local calls or getting the maps to begin working. Sometimes I need to call overseas, which I pay for with the extra the $15.00 a month plan. It sounds great until you actually need to call. You run in and out of the buildings, -your phone can even show 2 bars (wow) and you still keep having to hang up because after repeating, "Hello, Hello, can you hear me?" after the 1st sentence, & the other person cannot hear you -it again is a disconnect or you have to give up & try again, until both parties realize it's a waste of time and just hang up. I am tired of seeing the red notice saying the server is down and you are off line. or a tech person telling me that because I called them from another location in my city, regarding the server not working, because, em, I needed to make a phone call, it can be fixed in the area I am presently in, but not at the location of where I live?! I don't live in the Everglades, nor in the Amazon jungle, nor are you doing us all a favor to give the service we are paying for, but not receiving, regardless of how nice the customer service or tech people are, and they all have been...please do something with the towers, or take off 60% of our phone bill! read more

Why 2 stars? There has been more misses with customer service than hits. This is what sealed the deal for me, I came in to pay my bill for my sister. Not wanting to deal with them asking me a bunch of questions about the account and for verification; I decided before hand I wanted to use the payment machine they had in store. Walked in and was asked if I needed help, told the young lady I wanted to use the machine to pay a bill. She said "I could help you here", i replied "it's ok, I prefer the machine" and she insisted again "no, I can take care of it for u" and I politely declined. Her response was what bothered me, she replied wit "umm...okay...." (Not in the nicest way). That is when I stood there in silence, controlling the urge to ask her if there was a problem with me using the machine that's conveniently there for me to use? But I didn't want to make things more awkward. I wanted to pay the bill in peace, that didn't happen. It didn't help it was only my girlfriend and I in the store, so it got super awkward and silent after that. After paying the bill, all I could think about was how the exit felt like it was a mile away. Icing on the cake, no one (5 no ones) said a word to us the entire time and not even as I said thank you as we were leaving; they just gave us that slight nod and smile. read more
