OMG, I have to share! I came into the store to follow up on information I received a few months ago. I was in another store, and an AT&T rep was there speaking to customers. Anyway, I spoke with Sheldon (I'm pretty sure that was his name) about moving my phones from Verizon to AT&T. He confirmed the previous information, and I'm shocked, so I'll share. First off, the store was very welcoming and well lit. I asked Sheldon for a quote to move two phone lines from V to AT&T. He asked me qualifying questions (phone unlocked? age? what types of phones do I have?). Very helpful. If you're of a certain age, you may benefit from moving over as well. My bill will be reduced more than 50%!!!! I'll go from paying $200/mo to $70! Whoa! Of course, *prices are subject to change, but wow! Sheldon also asked if I had Verizon wireless for home internet, which I do. And I'm glad he mentioned that as I wasn't even thinking about that part. Adding home internet brought my bill up to $90. Still a savings of more than 50%. CRAZINESS! Thanks AT&T, I've been looking for ways to save money after retiring. read more

In the last week, I realized I didn't have visual voicemail anymore. My call to AT&T customer service didn't yield any results, possibly due to different levels of knowledge about my phone between the CS rep and myself. I decided to go into an AT&T store, where there would be no communication barriers. I had a short wait when I arrived, but was eventually approached by a manager there, I believe his name is Paris. Long story short, he was super helpful and my problem was resolved between him and a CS rep he called. He assessed the issue to be inconsistencies between my phone plan (which supported 4G) and my phone (iPhone 12, supports 5G). Apparently this issue rarely occurs. To help fix the problem, he suggested I update my plan AND he was able to add HBO Max to my plan with only a $5 increase! Next thing I knew, my visual VM was back (I'd not had a VM since 2019! =O) and I was on my way. The whole process took a while, but Paris was determined to help me out and I truly appreciate all his efforts! So glad to be an AT&T customer at times like these! read more

This has got to be the worst AT&T store I ever been to. I went inside to purchase a simple hot spot & inquire about a unlimited plan and you would think I was cloning cows milk or something. It took almost two and half hours to try to convert my account to no avail. The entire time they kept moving their attention to the football game. Also talking to each other like what the score is while my time is being wasted minute by minute. I have never ever seen customer service this low quality in my life and especially at a AT&T Corporate store Then I purchased a hot spot and come to find out that I can't even add it to my account because I have a grandfathered plan. The rep said I could and everything. It turns out he was lying 100% just to get me to buy it. So I had to waste more time to return the device to the same store and they charged me a restocking fee and was laughing about it in the back office. You could actually here them laughing in the back room. They were that loud. People in the place were like reallyyyy. On Monday morning I'll be filing civil litigation against AT&T to get my $55.00 back with interest. 100% SERIOUS. I strongly urge anyone who values their time to go to a different store. I visited this store to get an upgrade. I tried to explain to the rep the situation (I was using my boyfriend's phone upgrade but wanted to keep my number) and when all was said and done, he said what I wanted to do was impossible. He hands my new phone without offering to help set it up, asks me if I wanted insurance on m phone (I politely declined) without explaining the changes I expected to see in my bill, etc. He did have the audacity to ask me if I was interested in adding AT&T cable or whatever, and again, I politely declined. He said we could exchange sim cards and so when he was trying to help us do that, he ended up jamming the sim card in my boyfriend's phone in the process and damaging it to the point where it was no longer functioning. He and his manager refused to take responsibility for the damage and basically said that my boyfriend's phone was already damaged before we brought it in, pointing to the aesthetic damage, which never impacted my boyfriend's ability to use his phone. I couldn't keep arguing with them so we just left as I didn't want to waste any of my time. A few weeks later and after reviewing my bill, I noticed that the sales rep at this AT& store had added insurance (an additional $15/month) to the new phone and the Next Up feature ($5/month), neither of which I authorized. If I hadn't looked at my bill, I would've ended up paying for $25/month, charges which I never authorized. By far, this was one of the worst customer service experiences at AT&T and in any business that I've encountered. read more

Bad customer service. Went in the store, both employees seemed like they were in a bad mood on top of being distracted by their other devices (laptops and. Cell phones). You would think they were distracted by other customers, but I was the only one in there. That's besides the point. The iPhone that I was seeking was out of stock so I asked if any other locations had it in stock, he said no Verizon, Apple Store, or any other phone carrier is going to have it in stock either so I need to be patient and wait for it to be shipped. I have tried calling them to ask a really simple question and the system has called the store 8 times. 8 Times! It rings 7 times each time it calls. So in 56 rings, no one could be bothered to answer?? The service is usually super slow anytime I've come here, which is why I was calling as I didn't want to get down there and they can't help me. CONDENSED REVIEW: This place is the worst. My husband and I were duped out of $300 b/c the sales associate was not forthright with information about our transaction. Here's the story: My husband was up for an upgrade. He settled on a new Galaxy S3 for $199. He was trading in his iPhone 4 for $135. So, after all is said and done, he would be getting a new S3 for $64, right? Christopher D. is the sales associate that was helping us, after wrapping up with my husband, he turned to me and said that I would be eligible for an early upgrade for about $50 more than my husband was paying for his. So, that would make my new S3 about $249, right? I was also going trading in my iPhone S4 for $204, making my new S3 around $45, right? We go ahead and erase our iPhones, sign a new two year contract, and get ready to use our new S3 phones, now it' time for check out... So, $199 for hubby's S3 - $135 hubby's iPhone trade-in + $249 my S3 - $204 for my iPhone trade-in = $449?!? At this point you're probably saying to yourself, "Hey, wait a minute! That doesn't add up quite right! It should be about $110!" You would be correct. At NO point did the sales associate EVER say to us that the actual cost for MY phone would be $549, but with BOTH iPhones trade-ins, would be about '$50 more than my husbands'. tl;dr - I never thought anything could suck and blow at the same time. read more

It was my first time coming to an AT&T store to purchase a phone in nearly 10 years and it will certainly be my last. The reason I gave one star is because the once I was seen the service was ok. When I first arrived there were 4 employees and a manager. The manager didn't help anyone. He was simply walking around pretending to be busy or in the back. Two employees left within 15 minutes of my arrival leaving 2 associates and the lazy manager. One of the associates was having a conversation with the her customers about non-work related things (keep in mind, the store is packed with people waiting) and the other associate was actually helping customers. It took me close to 9pm to be helped and the store closed at 8. I came in to take advantage of the trade-in program so, that I could get the new iphone 6. The associate said that I would be able to purchase the phone at home with the card so, I didn't do it in store... plus, I was tired of waiting and my metered ran out nearly 10 mins prior. I tried to purchase online only to find out that I couldn't. I called AT&T customer service the next morning only to find out that I had to go back to the store because the card they gave me didn't have a VISA logo on it and that would be the only way I could purchase the phone. I'm livid! Not only do I have to go back to the store but the location is terrible and parking is nearly impossible to find. read more

As you'll see from other reviews, this is the worst AT&T store. Employee Alonzo fraudulently added charges and insurance and enrolled in programs that signicantly increased my bill. They are interested in up selling and making you spend more, but won't help with setting up your phone. I don't completely blame Alonzo because the managers here are also terrible and will gaslight you. Go somewhere else if you need anything from AT&T. read more

My family has been ATT customers my entire life. We've been extremely loyal to this carrier and made the decision to take our business to another carrier because of the horrible customer service we received in store. I visited this store and an associate named Aaron provided me with the worst customer service I've ever had at a corporate store. I went in to port a number and he immediately came off as if he did not want to help. I understand that they are commission based but while they are focused on sales they are hurting retention. He went back and forth to the back office to get guidance from his manager and continued to give us the run around. He and his manager on duty represent the brand, and made he feel unimportant, belittled and as if my business did not matter. Also, I went in the week prior and a woman helped me but actually didn't - she said she added a note to my account but did not. This store needs new staff and management. In a time where retention matters so much, ATT is garbage. Unless you will purchase something to help their associates make commission, you will not receive good service. Happy me and my family are taking our loyalty and money elsewhere. ATT's values are "Live true. Think big. Pursue excellence. Be there. Stand for equality. Make a difference." I hate coming in here!! The parking to the store is non existent. Practically is either the garage or the street. Please remember that after 4pm they tow accross the street. So, here is what I witnessed. I Entered, I was greeted right away, helped to put my name in the system. Employees helping, 3 people waiting. 3 what appeared to be managers or regional managers, chatting in the middle of the floor regarding the activities, I overheard the casual peek hours etc etc. So, CUSTOMER SEVICE PEOPLE!!!! If you have three customers waiting why don't you send one of the managers that are casually chatting to help. Maybe because you do not give two squats about the customers' time. Frankly unexcusable!!! Once helped all went smooth, I got my exchange and I was on my way. But the ridiculousness of watching managment sit back and not help!! UNEXCUSABLE PEOPLE! Worst customer service. I went there to get a new phone on warranty. One of the employees kept going on and on about his high school football "career" (who cares? Living in the past). I had lots of questions about what would happen to certain saved items (photos especially), and he got really angry and frustrated at me. First time I got my phone. Defective. Even while waiting for all my information to be changed between my HTC to LG, music and apps weren't transferred through their trusty machine. Some ppl were nice. But now when you go back ppl are really just there for a job. This is why ppl hop to different carriers. Since ppl can still get THEM to pay the ETF and any outstanding balances. Also these ppl oversell things that later on a bill you find out cost more than they let on. read more

Had a malfunctioning phone I needed to replace with insurance. Nobody really wanted to deal with it. Stood there on hold with their insurance company while the staff ignored me. I would also advise them that when your unable to help fix a problem, not to try up selling service, or push accessories. Eventually got another broken phone in the mail. No parking, even the employees complain about it. Someone might go out of their way to get your problem solved, but don't count on it. read more

The customer service is quick, helpful, and fantastic! Being in a customer service oriented occupation myself, I seek out others who "get it'. Keenan gets it. We walked in just to ask questions about adding a line and getting a new phone and walked out new phone in hand and paying a lot less than I was expecting too. I made the switch from Verizon to AT&T and he said I didn't even have to do a thing. They'd "break up with" them for me! Its been 2 years since my last horrible visit and I'm shocked that nothing has changed. The manager could not have possibly have cared less about helping me. The lady next to me was being ignored so badly that her and I were chatting about the shocking lack of customer support. This store completely fleeced us. I went in to add my wife to the family plan that I have with my brother. We were told the bill would be one amount and it was way higher. They offered us an iPad for $100; we understood that it was because she was a new customer, but they strapped us with a line for the iPad which we did not want and were never told about, despite going over the new bill in detail. Now to cancel we would have a $150 early termination fee. Tried to return the iPad and work with them to get rid of the fees and was told to contact customer service. Customer service said that I have to go to the store. Do not work with the Kyris or the manager Manny. Neither of them can help you, nor do they want to. read more

Visited this location on Valentine's afternoon. Although store was busy, once checked into queue we were seen very quickly. We came in to get assistance with transferring contacts from old phone to new one which we had brought with us. Phillip our Customer Service Rep was excellent! Loaded an app on both phones enabling the transfer of not only contacts but text history, pictures and videos. Phillip knew how the process worked, and executed it flawlessly. While it does take a bit to complete the transfer, Phillip knew some extra tricks to speed up the process. He also informed us how to set the old phone to Factory Reset to ensure the removal of sensitive information from the old phone before sending it back. Cannot say enough good things about this service! read more

I went to the store to inquire about purchasing a battery only for my current phone since after At&T's last extensive update, my phone runs slower and the battery drains itself within 3-4 hours. NEVER had this problem until the last At&T update. As I sat waiting to be serviced I listened to a rep with a customer basically trying to BS him into things he was not interested in. It was very evident what the man wanted and the girl kept trying to take all around the bend pushing features and services he wasn't interest in.Then my turn, I get a guy who didn't even know the price of the phone. He so busy "running numbers" on his calculator and not explaining in detail what any of it meant. In all my years of being a customer I have NEVER paid more for choosing to agree to a contract. I opt for a contract because I am not interested in a new phone every 3 or 4 months like others. I will never pay full price for a phone when you get it for a fraction of the cost by agreeing to a contract. Dude's numbers just didn't add up. He kept saying you'll be paying $20 more per month but never explaining WHY even after I asked him specifically was it a rate change? Why? Where is this $20 extra a month coming from? He couldn't answer. He kept comparing PHONE costs which didn't make since because the phone I was interested in was only $129 which I would have paid straight out that day so there would have been nothing spread out over 24 months as he kept saying. Whenever I get a new phone, I always keep the same plan and just pay for the phone (the cheapest price avail because I do the contract) and your nuisance reactivation fee. He didn't account for my current discount saying oh I didn't see that. If you're looking at my account, you should see it. If you're trying to talk to me about cost, you should consider EVERYTHING.
