I am with AT&T now and I regret switching over to them and giving them a shot.My bill hasn't come out to what I was quoted ,they said they would pay off my phone if I switched and never did,and my coverage hasn't been good.I spent nearly two hours on the phone with customer service today and got nothing but the run around. Joshua b helped my son today. really helped himself out. added additional things without asking my son on our account if it was something he wanted. fees such as insurance for the phone. which we always decline. and something called next up anytime. Also a monthly fee to upgrade early. Nothing was explained to my son. It was just added on our account. Took me all day to fix it. I'm still working on one last issue. which I have to wait 48 hours to correct. If it was explained properly to my son And the options were his. I would not have to go through this. This should be illegal practice. Buyer beware. He also wanted to pay for his phone out right. They told him he couldn't. Went to my store today. He said u can. Two separate transactions. I was greeted by a sick woman who set me up with a seemingly nice rep. It seemed like there were 3 employees in the store. As soon as I told them y problem (my phone cannot make/receive inbound/outbound calls) I was escorted to an iPad so I could file a clime. No other options were discussed. I finished the insurance questionnaire in about 90 seconds and turned around and nobody was there except the sick host. I asked her if she could help me and she told me she would go "look for my rep." I waited about 20 minutes and no one came out. Mind you - they have my social #. I left and went to North Charleston where I was treated like a respectable, intelligent human. read more

Today, I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T. I am so glad I did and wish I hadn't waited so long. Curtis and Cereta were probably two of the friendliest and professional people I have met in a long time. They made what can sometimes be a long and annoying process feel like 5 minutes. Curtis was very informative and helped me understand what my new bill would look like and helped me learn about my new Android phone since I was swapping from iPhone. Cereta is a trainee who I can tell is going to make a wonderful addition to their team. While my pictures and apps were transferring and the store had a few slow minutes, we all talked like old friends. It was really cool and reminded me of customer service days of old. Unequal service. Got stuck in a contract because some of the sales representatives did not know all of the possible options that the company offers in regards to adding a line. I went three times and didn't get good knowledgeable service. However, I went with a friend of mine and John helped us, he was great and very knowledgeable. A member of our family who was on my phone account passed away. I went in to cancel his phone line. The person I spoke with was kind and said if I returned with a death certificate they would waive the charges for the phone and other penalties. That person was not there when I returned today. Instead I was abruptly told that I will be charged all of the cancelation and phone charges without so much as a "sorry for your loss". When I opened the account the sales person said I would get a new phone for free with the insurance if one was damaged. Instead I had to pay a $250 deductible and got a used replacement phone. read more

So, when I have to go to AT&T I normally come to this location because it is close to where I live and the customer service is good. But this visit the customer service sucked! Although all the reps were busy, no one looked up to greet my family and I, letting us know that someone would be with us shortly. You know, the acceptable thing to do when a store is busy. Oh! And I needed to mention we were sitting waiting on someone for at least 5 min. Five whole min no one said a word! Now, I'd let this go if they hadn't spoken to the person who came in behind us. She walked in and a rep greeted her immediately.....that's some bull! After one of the reps was done with a customer, then we were acknowledged. I would like to give this a 1 but I know it was not all their fault what happened to me. I have been with At&T since at least 2006 with 6 lines. A loyal customer and a big IPhone fan. I went online because I was needing to upgrade Iphones for my wife and I. I was looking at Sprint, Comcast, and At & T. I went onto online Chat and was on for almost an hour negotiating a deal that was pretty darn good with the customer loyalty people. Stupidly I wanted to pay by check by phone and they could not but he told me to go into AT & T and he would note the file with the deal and I could finish it up there. So, off to AT & T store and got there and ended up 3rd in line. Not too long a wait. I tell the salesperson the deal and they look at me as if I must be crazy. And they go online and supposedly can't see the deal negotiated. It is referred to the store manager and SHE was very abrupt and basically said there is no way that is the case. I pushed and asked her to call them and she refused saying that is not how it works but that I could dial 611. I wanted the deal so I went the extra mile and called. The person on the other end of the line saw the deal and I handed my phone to Ms Abrupt. They talked and it all sounded good. They put me back in the line and was number 3. This ticked me off but I was patient. When I get through the salesperson they assigned me named Kyle was very helpful and we worked on it for a while. Even had the phones sitting in front of me and then a glitch. It would not take the deal on their system. UGH! So, Ms Abrupt steps in and just basically says no, you will have to go online and get the deal. I asked her if she would call the company and she refused. Why the hell would I ever go to the store if I had known any of this. Don't worry, won't be back. Called in and got the order done. They ship me my 2 IPhone 8s in just 2 days and I will totally use online and phone for help because the store absolutely did not help. I think that the salespeople are pretty helpful if you fit into their narrative but the manager(Ms Abrupt) and her inability or unwillingness to contact the company and work with me after over 10 years of loyalty was disheartening. 4 Star for regular sales people and - 1 or 2 for management and store gets a 2. read more

Absolutely the best customer service, of any cell phone carrier I have ever had.."Cody" Took care of everything, we have been with AT&T for a long time, however Beware!! Back in August we switched from U-verse, to direct TV, and somehow, a contractor for Hughes net, GEN 4.. came and installed a satellite Wi-Fi dish, very unsatisfactory!! Very slow Internet speed, anytime I get a phone call, I would have to disconnect my Wi-Fi, which used my cellular data!! Yikes!!!! My husbands phone had some water damage, A new one is on the way!! And we will be connected to AT&T Internet again, which supports, our surveillance cameras, our phones, and a tablet!! Yaaaay!!! thank you, AT&T!! Wheew!! Phone bill eating up my dining experiences!! The business manager he offers free accessories to add extra lines to your business account that he credits so he can scam over the company. He does this then doesn't tell you in the fine print there are upgrade fees on the lines. Tells you your going to receive bill credits for moving lines in from Verizon wireless to att then doesn't follow through. Then notes on the account later on fraud and doesn't call and follow up from text message. I reached out to him 4 days ago saying if he can contact me also that they can start running deposit waivers for lines of service for the other 180 lines I have with Verizon to move over as soon as possible because we are into the next billing cycle already with Verizon. He has copy's of my bills with Verizon showing every number I was moving over he is upset he isn't making commission on the sales and that I canceled all the lines he added. I'm contacting fraud in regards to this guy, FCC and BBB and anyone else who can make a example of him. There should be someone who reviews everything their managers do and they should reach out to you. He doesn't follow through with anything done. They are fast with adding lines you don't need to your account and offering free accessories and bill credits that you don't get. The phone service is great just the business manager in Charleston store on Savannah highway doesn't follow procedure with att and should be made example of for other locations because he is literally stealing from the company by adding lines to accounts and crediting them to get a commission off them. He is also making false accusations according to my business noting my new business account they setup there because he isn't getting the commission on the lines. read more
