I am in Columbia SC and Lumos sold off to T-Mobile fiber. It has been impossible to pay my bill and they turned off my service. The many calls I made were answered by someone out of the country that did not understand me. They tore up my lawn to install the fiber so I am a bit stuck with them. I discovered on my bill I was paying for a device I had mailed back 9 months before after I had exchanged it for an upgrade I spoke with 2 specialists on the phone, they told me to go where I had bought the new one, they couldn't help me. The people at the shop were very rude, telling me how long she worked there as more important than getting a tracking number. Was finally told a phrase to use when calling the help desk, and 2 and a half hours later, I'm told on the phone that yes, it had been received but no one scanned it in. I had been polite and patient but did not receive that courtesy and had lots of head shaking, eye rolling,told to do my call outside. So rude-no help, but I stayed and finally will have the $1200 credited back to my account. read more

After spending too much time trying to move my account from Verizon on my own, I went to the store and had Queen make everything right. Despite my tech challenges, forgotten passwords, and which of the 4 devices I was moving was the main account -she patiently got it all done in record speed. BUYER BEWARE. Last March I went to this branch to purchase a new Iphone. The saleslady told me that since I bought a new phone that day, and for my years of loyalty, I was entitled to a promotion where I could receive $100 plus in store credit to pick out free accessories (earbuds, earphones, battery phone chargers, etc) or that i could have a free SyncUP device that will give me a wi-fi signal in my vehicle and also track my car's whereabouts. I wasn't interested in that feature but thought free wifi in my car sounded pretty nice. The saleslady helped me install the device which has never worked. I've never actually gotten a wi-fi signal. It does give me an annoying prompt every time my car is cranked. But here's the real kicker. I just discovered I've been paying around $12-13 a month for internet service and slowly paying off the cost of the actual device. When I called to complain to TMobile I was told they would credit me for the service but that my "buyer's remorse" period had ended and I would still have to pay off the cost of the actual device. I explained that "buyers remorse" doesn't apply to someone who was told the device was free. I will also be reporting this as fraudulent to my credit card company. read more

The store is okay but just barely it's a smaller store so I'm not trying to talk to bad about it and it usually does have at least two staff members but it's really not enough it's always got a line in there and it always takes forever going into the store I will say the staff are pretty nice and all of that in the usually get it done but just T-Mobile kind of sucks in general although the prices are low but the store it just takes a long time every time I come here read more
