We went to the store to upgrade our phones. The person who tried to help us was new which is understandable but we were there for almost 2 hours and he still couldn't figure out the transaction. Then he told us we would need to come back due to system error. When we got home with our existing phones we realized that whatever he did also ended our max service which was tied to our account. Then we couldn't go to a different store because our account showed a new phone but he was never able to set up a new phone. read more

The worst customer service experience in my life! I'd give minus stars if available. Both the salesperson, Hanna, and the manager are incompetent, rude, and dishonest! I came to buy a prepaid SIM card. I showed Hanna my mom's old phone. Without checking if her phone was compatible with the SIM card (Yes, AT&T has a list of compatible phone), she just charged us ($50) and installed it. Surely, the SIM card didn't work outside the store. We stopped by at other AT&T store and was told that the phone is not compatible with the SIM card. I went back to ask Hanna to fix the issue. She insisted that it weighed. She called AT&T customer service. After waiting for an hour to talk to representative, she's told that the SIM card isn't compatible with the phone. Then she told more that she couldn't returned my money since it's already installed. I requested to talk to the manager and was told that the manager was at the meeting. I had to wait for an hour to talk to him. The store manage is even worse than the salesperson. He's not helpful, lazy and rude. He apparently wasn't even in the meeting. I clearly heard Hannah lied to the AT&T representative when asked to talk to the manager. She told him that the manager is out when he's clearly in the back room doing nothing! When I asked him to talk to his supervisor, he told me that his the owner of the store and also the supervisor. What a lie! The manager told me that I needed to call my credit card and dispute it and refused to refund my $50 charged. I was in the store with my 80 years old mom for about 3 hours trying to ask them to get the SIM card to with or refund my money. I highly recommend to AVOID coming to this store unless the store use under new management. read more

I came in with a major problem. I had to get my iCloud reset with my old numbers, deactivate that then get a new number and was able to get my iPad reset even though I forgot my passcode. Employees straight lie to you about the pricing and promotions. Went in on 4/4/19 to ask about buy one get one iPhones. I was told the promo was going on. Spent 3 hours trying to get the new service activated. Turns out it was dependent on getting another service. At no time did the employee Jahfari Sommersel mention this. I was asked at the end about the direct tv and was offered the employees $100 credit towards my bill if I signed up. The difference in the bill is minimal, $15, but it's the principal of an employee either full blown lying to a customer, or being uneducated on what promotions are going on at the moment. Probably the worst AT&T I have ever been to. The person that helped me one day said that they made changes to the account, and turns out they changed nothing they were supposed to. They couldn't even get the email of the account right. I even confirmed with them at the end of the appointment that they did everything they were supposed to, and they said YES and had me sign all these contracts. They messed up soooo many times. I can't even count the amount of times I had to bring out my ID again and swipe my credit card. This store defrauded us. We were told by 2 separate employees while we were purchasing a new iPhone that we would receive $700 (not "up to $700". We were told "you will receive $700") when we brought back the old iPhone. We brought back the old phone today and received $95. When we questioned it, the employee pointed to the print on the receipt which said "up to $700 off with trade in". We will be returning the new phone and cancelling our service with AT&T. read more

Had a fantastic experience with customer service at this location. The tech that was helping me (David) was so knowledgeable about all the promotions and options available to me. He was able to answer all my questions, and I had a lot! I was at another location yesterday and asked the tech to remove insurance that I was automatically enrolled to which she said she can't do that in store and I have to call customer service, David on the other hand got it removed and took the initiative to check the rest of my lines to make sure I was not paying for anything else I was not aware of. Anyways, I don't usually take time out of my day to leave reviews but after the service I got at this location I thought it was necessary to give credit where it is due. read more

Absolutely despise AT&T. I'd give them a negative 10 if I could. It is now April and I have spent hours both on the phone with AT&T customer service and driving to and from the Blakeney store since October, trying to fix a problem caused by friendly but thoroughly incompetent staff. I went to upgrade my phone and found out we'd been billed over two years for a phone that was supposed to be deactivated - mistake on the part of the rep who set up a new line instead of transferring the line to a new phone. We had over 7 lines set up for multiple devices and with auto pay and paperless, it was overlooked. The rep said surely AT&T would offer me a small credit, so I took the new phone home and called customer service. Sadly, they offered me (AT&T customer for over 10 years) a one month credit for over 2 years of billing me for a phone line they should have disconnected. Even though they could see that the line had not been used for over 2 years. After that, I wanted nothing to do with AT&T. I canceled my service, returned the new phone, got charged a $45 processing fee for having the phone for less than 24 hours, and was told by the rep to retain my copy of the receipt proving I returned the phone. Four months later, I keep getting billed over $700 for a phone I returned. I dispute the charges, get the charges reversed, then it shows up again the next month. It doesn't matter that I have the receipt showing I returned the phone. The corporate office never got the phone, so whether I returned it or not, they can't turn off the monthly charges and it's up to me to prove that the phone was sent back to corporate. Maybe an employee walked off with the phone after I returned it. No one wants to see the receipt I got from the store proving that I returned the phone. Escalation after escalation, and no resolution. I've been to the store multiple times and resorted to calling the store to save myself the trip. The manager at the Blakeney store, Nate, doesn't return my calls. I've left 8 messages now. AT&T could care less about their customers and they certainly couldn't care less about former customers. It's a helpless feeling being a consumer but at least I can document my experience and maybe help someone avoid a similar fiasco. Choose a different carrier who values their customers and whose systems, processes and infrastructure make sense. Update: Nate never returned a single one of my calls but another manager, Jordyn, resolved this five month saga in under an hour and actually called me back. Sadly seems to be the only human employed by at&t who cared enough to fix the recurring billing. read more

Over the years I have been to this location several times to either upgrade my phones or make adjustments to my account. Last night my husband and I walked in about 7:30 PM. We waited probably about 15 minutes as the staff were assisting other customers. In the meantime we successfully set off an alarm on one of the phones as we were getting a feel for it! Our sales consultant was Jahfari. He was super cool and easily explained all the questions we had. Originally we were just going to upgrade my iPhone. However there was a promotion going on and it afforded us to upgrade my husbands phone as well instead of him taking my old one. This was an unexpected surprise and pleased us both very much! Then as we were talking my husband mentioned he was in the military. Come to find out AT&T offers a military discount. My husband showed him his ID and we were all set, Jahfari took his time with us and we did not feel rushed or like we were being pushed out and we were there until 9:30pm, 30 minutes after the store actually closed. We were genuinely made to feel like we were welcomed there even after closing while we updated our phones. We will both use this location again for all of our future phone needs. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND IF YOU CAN, AT&T TOO!! A simple BOGO and "free" iPad deal with a new line turned into a complete billing nightmare. They tried to bill us $900 for the "free" iPad so we returned it and still had to pay $100 for their mistake. Oh...and they apparently set up a 2nd line in error. After 3 hours of going from 800 customer service to fraud dept. to the store, back to the fraud department then back to customer service rep, FINALLY a supervisor closed the line. Today, we get a new bill and guess what...they're still charging us for the "free ipad" data line AND now charging us for another iPad and new data line for it! So we can plan to spend ANOTHER 3 hours at the store trying to resolve this and if losing that time's not enough, they'll probably make us pay something to get this cleaned up too. Unacceptable after 10 years with AT&T and all we've spent with them. And NO accountability at this store. Managers rarely talk with clients but rather go through their staff like managers and sales people at a car dealership. In fact, this entire fiasco happened because the manager left a rookie to process our order while she bugged out early for the evening. There was no store manager to help him process our order. That's what got it all started...he screwed it up because he had no management for help. It's pervasive though, throughout AT&T. They've gotten too big to care. I wanted to upgrade my daughter's iPhone and went to another AT&T store first. At that store I was very nicely told that because it has two small cracks in the screen they couldn't take it back. The cracks are below the home button in the very corners of the screen. We left and I thought about it and realized that didn't seem right. You see the phone was free and if I upgrade then I turn in that phone and start paying for the next one. If I don't upgrade, I keep the phone and pay nothing for it. I thought AT&T might want to make some money so I called them. The woman I spoke to, Maria, told me that yes because the cracks don't affect the function of the phone and they are minor they would take the phone back. She told me not to worry and that she would put a notation on my account. If I went to a store, they would let me upgrade after they looked at my account. I went to the Rea Road location the next day, as it was on my way to other places I needed to go. I walked in and was greeted by a woman. I began to explain the situation to her and she said that they could not take back the phone. I told her that the phone is free and I pay nothing for it. If I upgrade, then I pay. I explained they aren't making any money on this. She didn't care that I called customer service and wouldn't look at my account information. She never even asked for my phone number. She finally asked me only my first name and walked into the back. I picked up my cell phone and called AT&T. The person who answered looked up my information, told me I could upgrade and mailed me a new phone while I was sitting at the AT&T store. He looked at my account and saw that I was a customer for 14 years and I also have Direct TV. He discounted my TV service on the spot by $16 a month too and waived the activation fee of the new phone. After I hung up with him, I went back to the woman and told her. I explained that maybe if she didn't feel she could be helpful, she should suggest customers call AT&T. Her response was, "I was just telling you what we can do." Before I called AT&T, I did mention that I was willing to cancel my Direct TV and my phone lines. She didn't care. There might be some helpful staff at this store but she was not one of them. They should be doing all they can to retain customers. We shouldn't have to call AT&T from the store to get the help we need. read more
