I was trying to transfer my info from my old to new iPhone and not having much luck. Shaneece to the rescue! She helped fix everything in 15 minutes and sent me on my way. T-mobile store on Cherry Road has terrible customer service. I thought the person on the phone had hung up on me. When I called back and asked if she hung up she said no I put the phone down so you could rant. She was terrible and wouldn't help me. Went through the other store on Cinema Drive who went above and beyond. I called first and they said yes we can help you come on over. Left a very happy customer! THE WORST STORE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT GROUP OF STAFF! Took 2 hours to get a plan, tower for internet and a Google play for TV. () Will show what I find out over my 3 months with TMobile compared to the original sales 1, wanted 55+ plan and bring my own phone over so I can get reimbursed up to $800 on qualified phones. I was told I need 2 phones to get the 55+ plan (1 month in told by another store I didn't need 2 phones and the sim card this store on cherry Rd jammed in my att on can't be fixed so now 3 months later have been fighting still to get reimbursed for $300 on a phone they destroyed yet claim they know nothing about). 2. Internet gateway tower the sell me on the gal says it will work anywhere, well then she said no not at my address, then she changed it to a diff address around the corner and says now it will work. (After weeks and over 2 months I find out the tower was NEVER Signed out to me do the sim card wasn't registered. Then I'm told it won't work at my address, then I'm told it's the tower was bad, the towers in the area are not working). A new tower is sent to me direct from manufacturer, they all want me to remove sim card out of the old tower and put in the new one. I refused cause if it brakes I'd have to pay. Told to go back to store and was told it comes with it and they refused to open it. Go back home call 800 line and confirmed no sim card in it. 3. Got the Google play device and told now im getting charged $2 a month for something I WAS NOT TOLD I WOULD GET CHARGED AND NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO GET THE DEVICE HOOKED UP AND RUNNING FOR A $50 item I paid for! Fir a kiosk store this is a waste. Management shouldn't leave kiddies out to play in a yard without supervision. TMobile service is just as bad as this kiosk store so where do you put the blame at? TMobile Is having a "great day" for ripping us off of our $$, just call the 611 # several times I've heard them sounding like having a party there! Guess same goes here too at the stores NEXT STOP, FIND A NEW COMPANY FOR MY COVERAGE. WHEN YOU GET BAD FOID YOU SEND IT BACK OR NEVER PATRONIZE THEM AGAIN. I have to write a review about my experience at T-Mobile in Rock Hill, SC. I originally went to T-Mobile to add a line to my account for an Ipad. The mess that came after walking in the door was unbelievable. The customer rep that waited on me was really confused, He didn't know what to do to get this line established, He fumbled with the Ipad for over 30 minutes, then said it was good to go! Then the worst manager in the store jumped in and told me that it was my lucky day! Her name was Alisa, a name I will not soon forget. Alisha said that T-Mobile was running a special promotion and I could get a Sync-up Drive for free!! I told Alicia that I had no need for this device and didn't want it. She kept pushing the promotion and said it's free, don't pass this up. I told her no once again and she continued to explain that it would cost me nothing. She said absolutely free, with no upfront cost, and no monthly payment-$0.00. I finally agreed to the drive and they wrote it up. I left the store and went home to begin using my Ipad, it didn't work, it could not send a Facetime call nor receive one, it was now a good doorstop! I was agitated because I spent over 1 1/2 hours in the store to get through all of this. I then looked at my bill online to check that I had added a new line. The line was added but it was worthless with the Ipad. I then check my account and saw a monthly charge for the Syncup device that I didn't want and was guaranteed was at no cost to me per Alicia. I called T-Mobile and they said I had to return the drive to the same store I received it from. I go back down to T-Mobile in Rock Hill, SC, asked for a refund, and return the sync-up drive. The customer rep said they could not take it back because they needed the manager's approval and the manager was not there. They told me to come back again when the manager was at the store, Im, not a happy camper to say the least, I left the store and then called the next day to make sure the manager would be there, and they said she would. I asked for the manager when I once again went back to the store. The rep said she was very busy in the back room but they would let her know. I waited over 20 minutes as I heard all kinds of laughter coming from the back room, finally, Alicia came out. I said, you lied to me about this free drive that I didn't want in the first place, return the drive and take it off my bill. She then told me that I was the one requesting the sync-up drive, not her! I was very angry that she absolutely lied to my face! She then said that she would be charging me a $20.00 restocking fee! I couldn't believe it and we argued some more. I finally paid the restocking fee just to be done with this whole mess, she thanked me for coming to T-Mobile and to have a nice day. 2 weeks later we are still working with T-Mobile customer service to get this Ipad set up correctly. To say I would never go back to this store is an understatement. She lied straight to my face several times and then charged me a re-stocking fee. I absolutely love this T-Mobile store. The team here is just that... a team! They are always so kind and helpful to me. I never feel like a burden or imposition. They take the time to teach me and if they do not have the answers, they do all they can to find them for me. This store is by far the worst T-mobile store I have ever had the displeasure of going to. I have always been accustomed to T-Mobiles amazing customer service, because of that I went in believing I would get just that. Not only is this place terrible as a T-Mobile store, it is disgustingly terrible in regards to any customer service experience. My first visit I got a girl who was condescending, would not even acknowledge half of the things I said and seemed like she had better things to do. When I called about this I got the "Monster of T-Mobile," Steven. He wouldn't let me speak the first time I called, and I was already frustrated. When he called me back after he spoke to his manager it was the same thing. It was so bad I asked for his name and employee ID so I could call corporate because he wouldn't give me his managers number. His ACTUAL RESPONSE was, "Don't worry about it, and calling corporate won't do anything!" Well you can bet your butt I called corporate, and Steven, they made up for your terrible customer service skills. T-Mobile has always been a great company in my eyes, and this doesn't change that because of how their corporate office went out of their way to fix my issue.
