We went into the AT&T store to inquire about possibly changing our internet. Ari was the AT&T representative that helped us. After we changed out internet, he offered us an expired promotion to switch our mobile service. We paid off an iPhone with Xfinity of $691.67. He promised us the promotion of up to $800 if we paid off our device with another carrier and switched to AT&T. When we submitted all the required documents for the rewards VISA, it was denied because the promotion was over. We were lied to so he could get the commission on moving two mobile lines from Xfinity to AT&T. We have spent two weeks being tossed around like a hot potato from customer care, the rewards center, and even a in store manager. Everyone we encountered has lied to us. We spent $691.67 to pay off a promotion with Xfinity because of sales representative greed. BEWARE. Get everything in writing with both the employees signature and a manager signature. We got F**KED. No one at AT&T will honor what we were lied to in store. read more

Horrible customer service! Walked in - no one acknowledged me. After waiting for 10 mins, one of the customer service person came to ask what I want. You can tell from his body language that he has no intention to actually help you. After explaining , the guy relayed that message to his manager across the room. The woman manager started shouting at me from across the room in front of 3 sets of customers sitting there about how they cannot help me. Totally ridiculous n rude response! I just walked out. I have an I phone X and have been walking around with what I thought was a cracked screen. My daughter pointed out that it was merely the screensaver and that I should just put on a new one. When I opened the new screensaver from Amazon, I started hyperventilating at the sight of the pages of directions and sheepishly went into the AT&T store to see if they could help an old lady....They were so extraordinarily nice, efficient, helpful, kind, and friendly----I didn't want to leave. I wasted a lot of time going to this store. First, they know nothing and the people are unfriendly. Second, when I went to buy a phone they told me it was $130 more than the price online. I asked why that was and it turns out it was because they are a reseller, not an actual AT&T store. They would only match the price if I had the phone shipped to me. This place is a total racket. On Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:53 am, I had the most rude At&t Associate attempted to assist me with a store exchange/refund research. He refused to tell me his name instead he removed his At&t's name tag. A female associate came from the back room and I asked her what is his name and she told me his name is "Monte". When "Monte" looked up my At&t account, he was underbred with his conversation with me, unmannerly with the task I requested from him, and he showed primitive skills with the knowledge that I needed to completed the research for a possible exchange or refund. This "BOY" does not need to work anywhere if he is shame to tell a customer his work name. I spoke to both At&t associates about my experience at the store and gave suggestions to them. Arrived at 11:10 AM. Asked if I could purchase an iPhone 7. Was told they only sold them on payment plans. Why is the full price listed on your display, then? If you won't sell them for that price, do not display that price. Seems simple enough. Ok. That sucks, but whatever. I don't have time to drive anywhere else, so I'll do a payment plan if that's all this store can do. I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. Finally, 11:45 rolls around. I've yet to receive one iota of help and I have to be at work by noon, so I just wasted 35 minutes. Absurd and unacceptable. Hire more people. It is not the employee's fault. But y'all gotta hire more people. If someone is coming in trying to drop $600, you can't make them wait half an hour. read more

Mind your place ladies. The boys behind the counter know what's up. My son and I went into the AT&T store earlier this AM. We waited (with no acknowledgement for the first 25m) for about 35m. Finally the first gentleman asked what we needed. I asked for a hard reset of my iPad. I explained it all. (It was mine. It's on my account, but my ex-husband left his id on it and doesn't know the passcode. It's not attached to any account, etc... and if it is, I don't know what it is. Please help me hard reset it. I don't care what's on it.) He mumbled "go to the Apple store" and walked away. Then IAN who had been standing there the whole time and heard my whole spiel, started asking all the same questions. I said, "please. I have done all the things. I can Google. Please just hard reset it." He said, "calm down. We're working this out together." (I was not not-calm, but also didn't need the hand wagging in my face) I said, "please don't mansplain with me. Just please let me know if you can help me." Ian then said "I am not mansplaining, but you can leave. Go to the Apple store. Maybe they'll help you." So, in total, if you are going to the AT&T store in Decatur, mind your place, ladies. I've been with AT&T for well over a decade and would expect better from their store. I've had an ongoing issue with my service that was caused by a previous phone representative. Another rep on the customer service line told me at one point to contact my store for assistance. The first time I called a guy answered. As I was explaining what was going on I can hear a woman in the back making smart remarks while trying to instruct him instead of allowing him to finish listening. I told the young man that I would call him from my other line to click him in with the rep on the phone and he obliged. When I called back no one answered. It took me literally 5 seconds to call back and the phone just rang and rang. I called back again and a woman answered the phone. After trying to introduce myself and the issue she cut me off and said she knew who I was and that the guy "went to lunch". She then proceeded to tell me that the phone rep should have never told me to call even though part of the issue happened in that store. I began to ask a follow up question and she cuts me off again and is trying to over talk me and "tell me what my problem is". I asked her what her name was and she said her name was Lisa and that she was an assistant manager. While all of this is happening I can hear another woman in the background chiming in and laughing. Worst service experience I've ever had with this company. I'm super patient with reps because I've been in that industry before, but to have that type of attitude and offer that type of service is unacceptable especially for someone just looking for answers and proper resolutions. My visit was great. I came for a phone cord and case. The young lady who waited on me was super attentive, knowledgeable about the products, and installed both the case and the screen guard. She was a complete pro. I left knowing more about the Apple products than when I came in. My only drawbacks for what I came for, were that the selection of cases for the iPhone 6 was not extensive. The other was, although I came late at night, it was not clear to me that I wouldn't get booted for parking near the CVS. I would strongly recommend parking somewhere else to solve that problem. All in all exactly what I would have hoped, but that could be a function of the young lady who provided excellent customer service. read more

"Please understand that businesses are doing their best during Covid19." Really.... Well that is precisely where AT&T has screwed up and decides for some bizarre reason to risk customer's AND employee's health for no good reason. After extensive overseas "troubleshooting" the agents have decided I need a new SIM card. I have AT&T prepaid wireless with automatic billing. Mind you when I joined they mailed me a SIM card and instructions. But NOW mailing me a new SIM card is out of the question. I have to go to the store to get one. Mind you this us free and I don't think it is the SIM as I have another line with a MVNO that uses AT&It's network with the same signal strength issues that started at exact same time as this one did. What are the odds of two SIM cards malfunctioning at the exact same time? Not to mention my phone works at other places besides my house. But mostly upset that AT&T can't have a store employee drop a SIM card in an envelope and spend 50 cents to mail me one (or send it out from some central shipping location). Nope let's expose our customer and employees to one another. Make zero sense for any reason. So AT&T gets no break during a pandemic as they are worsening it for no reason. To boot... all their support is overseas and horrible. Use another prepaid service if you can and I dare bet all their plans suffer from same port signal issues. read more

Everyone was super helpful when we went in to find out the plan options. My husband was on unlimited, so we were reluctant to leave that plan. In the end we decided to think about it a bit more and left. When we came back about a week later, we found out that they had already changed our plan, without our consent. They also lied and promised us things that, when we went back in, after the plan was changed, were suddenly not available. This is an authorized dealer, so AT&T can't actually do anything about it. Id be super cautious if you go here, and make sure they haven't made changes without your consent. I also have to go back to a legit store now, because they also didn't update my phone properly. read more

This place is so terrible first of all they gave me wrong info and a result of that i got my car booted then when i went to ask the manger for help with it he said i was lying i think his name is mike, mark or maybe matt something like that and left me there looking like i was lying. And plus they didnt even fix my phone i had to drive to another att store to get it fix which took less than 30 mins and plus they dont boot there so if you want your day to be as terrible as mine go to the ATT store on ponce right next to the CVS.
