The charges spanned 9 months and because I was on auto pay I didn't notice until now. When I tried to resolve this over $1000 issue they told me there was nothing they could do. Absolutely terrible customer experience. I was told I'm forced to keep paying for a second phone line I don't even use because my device installment is tied to it, and there is apparently no way for them to move the payment to my primary line or offer any real solution. I spoke to escalation management and still received zero help -- just scripted responses and "policy" excuses. It's frustrating that in 2026 a company can't resolve something this simple and instead forces customers to overpay hundreds of dollars for a line they don't use. The system is clearly designed to trap customers into paying more rather than actually helping them. Very disappointing service and zero flexibility. After moving to Georgetown I've been in this store twice in the last three months and it's always been open to wait inside, masked, and had more than enough space to distance. This was during the height of COVID, and was safe and efficient. Now, though, they no longer allow this. I needed to help my mom cancel my deceased father's line, but we' have to wait outside 30 minutes. Worse? The employee claimed they'd NEVER allowed people in. You want a new policy? Fine. Don't lie to me, though. Once you lie to me once I'm going to assume you're unable to provide customer service and will lie from them on out. Put this on the list of AT&T stores to avoid. No longer trustworthy or interested in customer service. Edit: You can see that AT&T store manager's reply about "currently." No mention of their previous policy OR the employee who blatantly lied to my elderly mother and I about it. My advice stands: go elsewhere. What a waste of time! I spent over 2 hours waiting to get a screen protector replacement on my iPhone as I paid for a "lifetime replacement" when I purchased the phone. After patiently waiting, they informed me they were out of the part! I informed them I'd rather pay on Amazon to get the part delivered to my door rather than ever having to go in that store again. In the past I've come to the store and received great service, not-at-all so tonight... It's an entirely different matter. I came in over 2 hours ago to pick up an Apple Watch. I've done all the research, no questions to ask, just close the sale. I was put on a waiting list with four other people ahead of me, and was told that it would take about 20 minutes. There are over 5 agents in the store, only 2 of which know what to do, I am told. One agent spent over an hour and a half with this family, visiting, laughing, cutting up and pretty much took the entire evening while I sit here and wait. Long story short, the store closes at 8 PM and I'm still here waiting... the next in-line, after the couple they just started helping. They are "NOT" going home tonight UNTIL we get this done, if I have to keep them here all night!!! read more

I don't often write non-food reviews but since I didn't want to drive to the Domain AT&T store I thought I'd try this one. The reviews seems to indicate it's a hit or miss experience. Mine was a hit. I walked in at about 1 pm on a Sunday. There were about 4 families or couples in the store and everyone was wearing a mask. I was greeted immediately and the manager (Rya?) took my name within a minute or two. The wait was 5-10 minutes or so. I spent it coveting Apple watches. I needed an existing phone number on my account transferred to a used iPhone. The process was quick and easy. The rep friendly and quick. They have the stations set up with plexiglas barriers for added safety for everyone. So, your mileage may vary but my experience was as good as I've had at any AT&T store. read more

I was just in this store doing a trade-in and I overheard an employee, Charles, helping someone over the phone who I can only assume was very elderly and was having trouble understanding the difference between an email and a text message and then finding the correct app. Charles was SO kind and patient on the phone with this person. I visited the ATT store in Georgetown and was greeted by Nya which was very friendly and had a pleasant smile. She took my name and said that someone would be with us shortly, She was right about a minute later we were greeted by Anthony and he was very helpful and knowledgeable, he took his time and explained things. I was getting a phone for my 80 year old Mother and we walked out very satisfied with our purchase. I like when someone take there time and not make you feel rushed or like they are getting tired of your many questions and not once did Anthony make me feel like we were a bother. I am long time AT&T customer (almost 20 years), I have dealt with AT&T sales representatives and Managers in many different cities and states over the years--a few so so, and many not so great. I have never looked forward to going into an AT&T store--NEVER! I have learned to use the reservations with a representative before ever walking into a store (if you don't you have to be ready to wait a few hours to get help--and usually that help is mediocre. Why have I been with AT&T so long if I have so many negative experiences? Bottom line cost--the money I have saved with internet, cellular, and TV has been worth it. But that doesn't make my experiences fun. HOWEVER, I went into the 1103 Rivery Blvd shop in Georgetown and I have to be honest--one of the best customer experiences I've ever had (and that's not just against my AT&T experiences; that's against all of my patronage experiences at stores--and I'm a huge customer satisfaction/experience person. My wife and I worked with Nya and she was awesome! First off, just a great person that was fun to be around! She is extremely knowledgeable about iPhones, AT&T plans/deals, and was a joy to work with. She helped us get my wife's phone fixed, recommended upgrades--and explained in detail how to get a better plan and why and how it would save money (I have a family plan with four phones for myself/wife/two sons). She clearly laid out how I wouldn't lose any of my current capabilities; and in fact how they would improve with a new plan. She did this all in writing! Nya was awesome! My my how things have changed. Management here is unorganized and chaotic. Currently waiting ~40 mins to be helped in a store that doesn't appear to be crazy. Not sure how they can go from one customer, walk around for 5 mins and talk then go to the next. The amount of time wasting is frustrating. No timeframe given, no walk by and say something to the people waiting. Not taking people off the lists when taken care off. Disarray is the best way to described this store. they gave me the wrong phone told me it was a pro max 14 and gave me the iPhone 14 plus. then didn't even give us screen protectors they wanted us out of the store it was still an hour till closing.. they gave me also the wrong cord and phone case. the phone case they gave me was supposed to fit a iPhone 14 pro max which I thought that's what I was getting but instead gave me the iPhone 14 plus. dissaponting ive never been treated like that in an at&t store before like this. Came in to turn in a trade in phone which they had already told me they will give me $700 for the trade in 2 weeks ago but they allow me to give me time to wipe phone and save my pics and videos, they told me just come back in and turn your old phone...today a new agent told me "No" we're only given me $300 I was like NO BS! She said my phone is cracked in the corner and the its only 64GB. Keep in mind the agent 2 weeks looked at it and quoted me $700 so that's why I decided to get the new iPhone 12! The assistant manager then told me it's MY fault for not telling them! So basically blamed me for all of this. Horrible ! One day went to the ATT store on Williams. All employees there did not know how to take monthly payment when their kiosk was down. Wow. Today visited the store on Rivery with a phone ( which I bought there) problem and the young man who had no idea what to do was rude and insulting while suggesting I take it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. With nothing to lose I went to Best Buy where the young man there spent 30 seconds and fixed the phone. NO CHARGE. Get your next phone / plan at Best Buy where problems can be fixed. If I could put 0 stars I would. Normally the staff is always helpful but today was different. My family and I went in because we changed our plan and had some billing questions as there were some charges we were uncertain about. A guy named Josh assisted us and was very unhelpful and seemed like he did not want to deal with us. Kept going about how the statement was in Spanish and even as I tried to explain to him what the question was he just seemed frustrated and like he didn't want to help. When he noticed my mom starting to get frustrated he had the audacity to ask us if we wanted credit to our account because if we did he could not do that. Bought an iPhone 6plus cover case which had a 1 yr warranty. The cover faded after a few weeks and eventually cracked and it did not protect the phone well. Went to store to ask for credit or replacement since I had my receipt, original pkg. and was still under warranty. Tech said it was normal wear and couldn't help. I wasn't happy and asked to speak with Mgr but he was unavail & wasn't at store. I asked for a call back with Mgr's decision. Went to run errands and hadn't rec'd call so went back to store after 2-3 hrs. Tech was leaving store and never acknowledged me. Another Tech came and was familiar with my issue but didn't know Mgr's decision so he went to talk to Mgr. came back with negative response so I asked to speak with Mgr: POOR Cust Service 1) long wait time 2) no courtesy call back 3) didn't back product they sold 4) Mgr is impersonable and looks like he dislikes working. I drove over to the AT&T store today to swap phones with my wife. I was expecting this to be a hassle, especially since the iPhone 5 is being released today. I parked my car in front of the store and walked toward the glass doors that lead inside. As I approached, both doors opened and 2 of their team members opened the doors for me. One of them asked, "How can I help you today?" I briefly told him what I needed and he guided me to the desk where he proceeded to swap the phones for me. I cannot, for the life of me, remember his name, but He did me a great service and met all my needs. To make things even better, they were having a 25% off sale on all cases. They didn't have the case I wanted, but they said, there is a 30 day month-back guarantee and I could return the case I bought when the other is in stock. I tried many times to get help on the phone or on chat. No one ever comes to the phone and the wait on chat was endless. I went to this AT&T store to get 2 data only plans. Jose was very unprofessional from the second he did not even offer a greeting when he met me at the front door. "What do you need?" Then he refused to do anything until I returned home to get the cameras requiring the data plan. When I returned w the cameras the only data plan option he offered cost $50 a month each. The cameras do not provide texting, data or voice yet the data plan cost much more than I pay for unlimited talk, text and data on my 4 cellular phones. I've always experienced horrible customer service w AT&T. This customer service employee raised horrible customer service to a whole new level. I went to the nearby T-Mobile store and setup data only plans for $10 a month each. The representative at the T-Mobile store never asked to see the cameras. AT&T doesn't care their products are not competitive. AT&T doesn't care their employees are treating their customers like crap. Jose is probably the employee of the week or the store manager. I came back to this store today, once again looking for an iphone 6, and my experience today was sooo much better. I was greeted when I entered the store and the woman working the front was friendly and helpful. She signed us up to speak with someone and told us the wait wouldn't be too long. We looked at the display iPhones and waited around 10 min before we were helped. The woman helping us was Naz, and she was great. She took plenty of time to answer our questions and helped us switch to a new plan. Before we knew it we had ordered 2 new iPhones and were out the door. I had to get on a waitlist for a sales person to help me behind the people ordering their phones and setting up their plans to pay for the $9 adapter. The doors were opened for me, I was greeted with smiles, and had to wait a whopping 3 minutes during rush hour after the workday to be seen. The sales people here are scam artists. We went in to buy a new iPhone and the sales person convinced us we needed a Mi-Fi for our home internet. We were uneasy but he assured us that if we didn't like it we could return it with no charge. We went home and immediately it did not work. My husband returned the entire system an hour after we bought it. Since then, we've received letters from AT&T stating that we owe hundreds of dollars. After calling, we learned that the sales associate at the store did not enter our return wrong. My husband has since gone back to the store MULTIPLE times to get this resolved. Today, we were just charged $30 for data usage for the "day" that we had the mi-fi. Absolutely rediculous. At a minimum, this should have been waived as an apology for the hassle this store put us through. I will be filing a complaint with AT&T and recommend you stay far away from this store. read more

We purchased two iphone 6s through AT&T specifically so my husband could call the US from Europe. The phone ended up being a very expensive paperweight in his pocket. No service whatsoever. I made calls around here and finally discovered after speaking to International Support that a specific plan hadn't been added when we purchased the phones. Well, when you ask the salesman (Don) if there's anything else you need to make things work properly and he says "It's all in your plan", you walk out the door believing - It's all in your plan. Right? The only thing this guy was missing was the checkered sport coat of a used car salesman. Doubt it was intentional but there was a very important, specific purpose in this purchase. And that was the one thing that didn't happen. Unbelievable. As soon as possible, we are leaving AT&T. If it weren't for our daughter being there as well with her Sprint phone, there would have been no contact to the US whatsoever. read more

Recently moved to the area; each time my husband and I have visited this location we've taken our dog. Been welcomed by multiple staff members and attended to in a timely manner. This occasion was entirely different. Upon our entrance the hispanic female 'greeter' with glasses did not bother to acknowledge us as customers or with a 'hello' before stating that dogs were not allowed. We were taken aback and explained this was not our first visit and neither of our previous visits have we been told differently. We spoke to the manager via phone since we were obviously not welcomed. Policy has recently changed which is understandable and we appreciated the explanation. However the particular representative we approached had a complete disregard for customer service. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this location despite its convenience. We had our phones activated in Round Rock (dog friendly so far) and will continue to take our business there. read more
