For once in my life I failed to check yelp, lesson learned and never again! Super Shady! This is NOT a Verizon corporate store, I didn't even know there was a difference. I even commented on how slow the store was and mentioned that the Verizon store I used to go to always had a waiting list...Come to find out that was a corporate store. When I pulled up there was only one other car there, I could see that one person sitting at their desk inside. I thought surely he would stand to hold the door as I wheeled in a baby stroller and carried another toddler. No such luck, I fumbled with the door, flipped around and then he finally acknowledged me. Funny when I left, after spending $300, he sure was eager to hold that door for me. Yes! I signed the 20 pages of papers, No I didn't read every line. These days in life of you don't sign, you don't get whatever it is, so we are used to signing our lives away and trusting those asking us to do it. Bottom line, go to a corporate store, this location charges their own fees on top of what Verizon itself charges. read more

My mother who is of older age had some trouble with her phone and needed assistance and decided to stop at the Verizon store in round rock. She was assisted by Omar who helped her and provided her with answers to all her questions! He provided great customer service and patience. I didn't check with yelp before going. DON'T GO HERE. I broke my phone and didn't want to get locked out. I didn't back up my phone because at the time I recently had a baby and life got a bit chaotic. This was a while back and I'm still shocked about the treatment. I went to this location thinking they could help me get the stuff off my phone like other locations out of state have helped me before. Nope. 1.I think Nick was trying to help me but really didn't know what to do. He asked the manager for help. 2. The manager (probably in 30s) stopped heavily flirting with the new woman that was going to work there and he walked over to us. It was broken in such a way, it was possible to enter my password but I had to carefully do it. I told him specifically "Please don't touch my keyboard. Please, don't lock my out of my phone." He then button mashed my keyboard. He said something like "Yeah you're not getting your photos off of this." He then erased everything off my phone for it to be sent in to the insurance company. 3.He was the biggest A hole ever. I think because we interrupted his creepy harassment to his new coworker or whatever. She was suppose to be learning how to open the store. A woman knows when another woman is just letting a guy do his thing. Her responses were receptive, but I felt as if she was basically letting him flirt so she could keep her position. 4. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in to trade in my iPhone X for the iPhone 13 Pro during the trade-in promotion. i had to order the new iPhone in order to "Hold" the promotion since the phones were on back order. After roughly 6 weeks of waiting (they did NOT call us to tell us the phones were in BTW, we had to go up there and request it), we finally received the new iPhone. We were told the promotion would kick in in about 1-2 billing cycles - WRONG! 1 - they applied the wrong promo to my account, and instead of helping me fix it, they completely ignored me after they made their sale. 2 - They charged me $70 for a device "set-up" fee which was NEVER advised at any point during the transaction they were going to charge (BTW, all of your information is stored in the cloud so they literally did NOTHING and charged me for it). They only advised of the $35 device upgrade fee Verizon charges - they were essentially trying to charge me $140 for "setting" up our new phones, and ALSO for their "customer service" - yeah, right. They completely ignored me after they made their sale. I had to call Verizon directly and get my billing all sorted out AND have Verizon remove their $35 upgrade fee. TERRIBLE PLACE WITH TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. These Cellular Sales need to be shut down for their deceptive practices and misleading "promos" and "incentives". read more

I haven't had many good experiences at Verizon stores before, but yesterday's was great. I couldn't remember my password but that didn't stop James from transferring my old phone number from another provider to my new Verizon phone. I had just walked out of another Verizon store another wasting 20 minutes with a person that obviously hated her job and had no interest in helping customers. I seriously was thinking of cancelling my account and finding another provider, but then my wife and daughter would have been without cell service. When getting a new phone, pay attention and ask for your invoice before you pay. Deceptive tactics telling you you'll "get a deal" when they sell you merchandise for your phone that you don't need. Repeated attempts to speak to management "Nick" for another issue have fallen on deaf ears. Called corporate and they don't care either. STAY AWAY and go to a real corporate Verizon store. I don't post negative reviews until I have given the company a fair shake at providing some customer service. This location sure has a lack of decency. read more

We went to the retail store on Round Rock next to Target and we were treated poorly. it was a long line and the sales people were irritated. Then My husband decided to call this store and we rushed there. What a great experience. Christina and the manager were very polite and attentive. We got our new phones, and Christina completed the process fast and very professional. I would give her 6 stars if it was possible. Great environment. Shame on me for not checking Yelp before doing business with Cellular Sales. This is truly a one star type of place - you may get ripped off due to their ignorance/inexperience. First of all, they are not a Verizon corporate store, they are an "authorized reseller." My understanding is that "authorized resellers" should be identifying themselves as a 3rd party by adding that label to their sign on the building (they do not have that on their sign). I went into the store thinking they were a corporate owned store and did not know they weren't until my receipt was printed. There are a few more terrible and inconvenient things as a result of this transaction. - Sales representative was not knowledgeable about the promotions going on by Verizon. He misled/lied. - THEY ARE SHADY. I thought I was at a corporate store when I went in to buy my phone. I was signing up for a new line and buying a phone, and apparently there was some terms and conditions that needed to be accepted electronically on their point of sale device. I wasn't given an opportunity to see what it even said since the salesman just accepted the prompts on my behalf. I asked him what it was that I had just agreed to and he said, "oh we have to click accept in order to proceed" - totally did not answer my question. - THEY LIED. I purchased a new phone they did not have in stock. I was told the new phone would take 2 days to arrive. It took 6 days. - THEY WERE RUDE. In the mean time, the salesman had written his name/number on my receipt and said to call him to inquire if the phone has arrived. When I called, he had no idea who I was and told me to call the store instead. When I called the store they were rude and told me to keep checking back. I just spent almost a thousand dollars there and they can't call me when it arrives? - THEY LIED. I was told I would get $200 for my trade-in, and that I should bring it in when my new phone arrives. They said it would be a credit on my monthly bill. Imagine my surprise when I saw there was no credit on the bill, and I contacted Verizon customer support. Verizon customer support said the promotion did not apply to me and my device was ineligible for any promotions at all. Additionally I had already signed it over to Cellular Sales and there is no way to get it back. Yes they took my device and I got nothing in return. - THEY OVERCHARGED ME. Phone arrived eventually and a different person set it up, who seemed to know what he was doing. He noticed that I was over charged by $100 on the original sales receipt. Thankfully that was corrected. - THEY SCREWED UP MY PLAN. I signed up my child for the "Just Kids" plan (at this store) which allows me to monitor the child's phone. However at some point after I had set it up, this store switched the plan on my child's phone to an Unlimited plan, which made me lose my ability to monitor the phone any longer. I didn't notice until I went into the Smart Family App and it would no longer let me in. I contacted Verizon customer support and they said the Just Kids plan was changed to Unlimited by Cellular Sales. - THEY WASTED MY TIME. I've wasted over an hour of my time with Verizon customer support trying to straighten out my plan and clarify understanding of the trade-in promotion (there wasn't one), and figuring out how I was lied to and misled by this shady business. AVOID. Save yourself some time and go to a real business. read more

Verizon doesn't work in Austin/ outskirts. The service is the worst of all providers. Try ATT or T mobile instead. I'm stuck in a "contract" via my phone purchase. Called multiple times and they assured me they put me on a faster plan. Nothing. Combo'd with crappy spectrum for my wifi, we have no back up (no LTE service). Doing anything, even calling is hard. Especially in Leander, Georgetown, Jarrell, and hutto. read more

Don't go to this store. Very shady business practices. Misrepresented my insurance options after my daughter's phone was damaged. I had to pay them cash, not debit, to get the contract released. Great Experience We went into this Verizon store in round rock because Verizon offered a better deal to change carriers. We wanted to switch carriers and get two new phone and the deal offered by Verizon was better than any other carrier. Our experience in this store and the staff was five-star. They were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I was concerned with the transfer of my information and music on my current phone and feared this would take a long time and I may not be able to transfer all my information. This store made that transfer very easy and everything transferred automatically including my music. I would recommend this store to anyone wanting to upgrade or change carriers. read more

We went to this Verizon store last weekend to upgrade my wife's phone. We have always had Samsung phones but weren't sure which of the new models were the best fit. Thanks to James for helping us out. He asked lots of questions about how my wife used the phone, what she did with it. apps, games, pictures, etc. Thus he was able to get us the right phone for what we needed. There is a difference between consultative selling and hi pressure sales. James is the first. There was never any pressure to make a decision. We asked about cases and screen protection and even here James asked questions to help point to the best solution. we talked about prices and durability as well. During the dreaded paperwork process James even found us a couple of promotions that saved us a nice bit of money. I would recommend this location and James to anyone needing to get or upgrade their Verizon phone. I would rate this experience better than our last trip to a "company store". Thanks James! read more
