After spending years with another carrier, we decided to stop talking about switching to AT&T, and to actually make the switch. Today was that day. When we walked into the store, there were several customers waiting and only one worker. What was surprising is that all the customers were in good spirits and everyone was chitchatting. That was nice. David, the gentleman working, was pleasant with everyone and working diligently. When it was our turn, David was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me as I had a difficult time understanding an option. He was extremely helpful and activated our new account, ensuring we walked out with three working telephones. Better yet, David insured to maximize the promotions and discounts so our monthly bill is approximately $30 less per month over the other carrier. Saving $$$! Allison is the worse sales rep I have ever met.she misinformed me on my bill, didn't give me the correct amount owed, resulting in my account getting suspended. Had she told me the correct amount, which I had, this would not have happened- and did over $4!!! She also didn't change my name AGAIN and was rude to top it all off. Don't bother trying to get an owner or manager- all they do is hide behind empty promises in response to reviews. As someone who has been in retail, hospitality, and customer service for 20years, I've never seen such carelessness. I swear they need to hire more qualified employees at this location. Each time I've gone to this location with issues with their product I was always told by the employee that they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THE ISSUE!!!! How do you work at a a phone store yet cannot troubleshoot an issue of the product you are selling?!? Asked to speak to the MANAGER and WAITED over an hour and the manager NEVER did come out from the back...if he was even there!!! Would NEVER recommend this location because I've been to this particular store several times for issues from simple to complex and have not one time ever gotten the issue resolved. This location definitely needs inside training because not only was I frustrated with my unresolved issue I could see other customers having the same frustration with not getting their issues properly resolved. read more

All this place wants is to sell you a phone. They are liars and criminals. We were told it would be two days before I got my phone that I ordered in store with them but now they are saying that it won't be here till the end of October. They just wanted the sale and it messed up my whole week's schedule. I will no longer visit this store and I am now trying to cancel my phone order even though I have already been fished into paying the sales tax and activation fee. Horrible. read more

My husband and I have both been customers of AT&T for 15-20 years or so. We visited the AT&T store in Hernando on June 27th to make several changes to our plan. We opened a new business account because we were told we could save $15 a month with all the lines we have: 4 phone lines and an iPad. Well, we purchased a new iPad Pro and replaced our existing iPad line with that. We also purchased a new phone and were told we could get a new iPad 6th generation for $99 or $199. We really didn't need another iPad, but for the price we decided to go for it. We told them we wanted the $199 iPad, and the store associate told us they did not have any in stock. She would have to have it transferred from another store, and she would call me when it came in. She then ordered 2 screen protectors from the store's computer (one for the iPad Pro and one for the 6 gen) that we paid for then, and we paid for everything else. 4 hours later we got to go home. Once home I ordered a case, an Apple Pencil, and other accessories for the new iPad 6 gen. The iPad Pro arrived at our home in just a few days. After a week of not hearing anything about the iPad 6 gen we went back in the store 7/7/18. We were informed that the sales associate who helped us on 6/27/18 no longer worked there, and they didn't have any idea what was going on, so we had to explain everything to them. They looked in the back and found the iPad she had transferred from the other store. The store associate then tells us that since they did not receive the iPad in their store until 7/3/18 that they could no longer offer us the promo deal of $199 and that we would have to pay full price (almost $600) for this iPad. He said there was nothing he could do. He told me to call AT&T business customer service, and they were closed. This is ridiculous - my husband and I are furious. They have record in their system of when the transfer was placed, the original associate even ordered the screen protector that day, and she told me we couldn't pay until we picked it up in the store or I would have paid for it on 6/27/18. We were never told the promo would not be honored if it arrived after the 1st. The store associate claims he submitted a ticket and was waiting to hear back. I have yet to hear a peep from AT&T. I am extremely disappointed as we have given AT&T thousands and thousands of dollars over the years and they pull some crap like this. Someone needs to make this right or we may have to take our business elsewhere. I will not be returning to the Hernando store unless I absolutely have to. Now I have a case, a screen protector, and accessories I can't even use. Very angry customer!! Two thumbs down! read more
