He noticed right away why my iPad wouldn't charge -- my kid had snapped off the male tip of the charging cable inside the port. Micah pulled out some specialty tweezers, popped it right out in seconds, and said, "This one's on the house." I then asked about replacing the battery, and instead of upselling me, he walked me through the cost honestly and pointed out that at that price point, I was getting very close to the cost of a newer used iPad. I purchased a used iphone 4s with the charger. After 1 month the first charger failed due to faulty…read morewiring. After 2 months, the battery died. I took the phone back to unlocked cellular where the owner told me it was not the battery and suggested I take the phone to the apple store to have them diagnose the problem. Apple genius bar associates said it was the battery and suggested the reason I had this problem is because the charger had a poor connection and may have not been charging correctly or caused an electrical surge that affected the battery. They replaced the battery and all is well for now. I went back to unlocked cellular to tell the owner what happened at Apple. He said none of this issue is his responsibility, he would not refund me any money. His customer service skills were very poor, not wanting be held accountable for supplying faulty chargers to his customers. I will never do business with this company again.
