1 STAR -- Absolutely terrible experience at Cell Fix on Battleground…read more I had my phone screen repaired at Cellfixx about a month ago. Shortly after, my phone began overheating and the screen would occasionally freeze before returning to normal. Because Cellfixx advertises a 60-day warranty, I planned to bring it back and have them look at it. Unfortunately, before I could get back to the store, the screen completely went black and began flickering white on and off. I brought the phone back expecting the warranty to cover the repair. Instead, I was told that the flickering indicates the screen must have been damaged by some kind of impact or pressure and therefore the warranty did not apply. The problem? My phone was never dropped or subjected to any incident that would explain this. There were no cracks or visible external damage. I also use both a screen protector and a shock-absorbing phone case. Yet they essentially decided, without proof, that I must have damaged it and refused to honor the warranty. A quick google search shows that black and white screen flickering can have multiple causes, including problems with installation or the replacement screen itself. Given the timing and the fact that there was no impact event, I find their explanation extremely difficult to accept. So I paid $170 for a "premium" screen that failed within a month, then had to pay another $130 for a cheaper screen, which I was not even told was an option during my first visit (unsolicited upsale). With this money I could have bought a brand new phone. And then came the final kicker: when I got home, I realized they had returned my phone without the SIM card tray. It was simply missing. Since I have absolutely no intention of going back to this place, I had to order a replacement online for another $8 and spend an additional day dealing with the inconvenience of not having my phone properly functional. Also, every time I have gone to the store all of the employees appeared to be very young, teens to early 20's at best, including the kid that repaired my screen. I understand that age is not a indicator of skill, but it does not create confidence that the installation was done right, given the state of my phone. I absolutely do not recommend Cellfixx. If you are considering spending hundreds of dollars here, I strongly recommend going somewhere else. My experience was expensive, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.

We have recorded phone calls and screenshots of text messages of their employees admitting that they are purposely passing the buck, AT&T still refuses to do anything. My best advise GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me, Dylan (who is supposedly the manager) will never call you back. When you ask for a Regional Manager, you'll be told that they don't have one. When you escalate to have someone higher up call you back, NO ONE EVER CALLS YOU BACK!

BEWARE THEY STOLE OUR TRADE IN IPHONE AND WONT PULL UP…read moreFOOTAGE TO PROVE THEY HAVE A THIEF WORKING FOR THEM. My husband and I have been customers with AT&T for years! We have upgraded phone many many times. Jordan "helped" us in April use our next up to upgrade our phones. Jordan ordered my husband's phone because he wanted one that they didn't have in store. Jordan told us that we could keep his phone until the new one came in and then my husband could bring his phone in and they would be able to mail it in as a trade for the new one. We went in on April 15th to trade his phone in, Jordan was there again- he printed off a receipt and told him we were good. WRONG!!! We get a bill 3 months later saying that THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE PHONE THAT JORDAN TOOK FROM HIM! Now, we have a $500 bill for a phone THEY sent in! I called the store directly to let them know and figure out next steps, they said they would escalate the issue and get back to us. Well, a week went by, NOTHING! I called and got the bill pushed because I REFUSE to pay for a phone that they stole from us. We went into the store to speak so someone, the manager at the location, Alex, said that he would escalate the issue to his boss and stated that this happens ALL THE TIME?! How are you allowing this???? I asked for a phone number, he couldn't give it to me. I asked for an email for his boss, he couldn't give it to me. Please tell me how it makes sense that you can't give a customer your boss', who's job is customer service over all else, email. We have them exact times and dates for the cameras so they could see us come in and make the exchange, phone for receipt, and they told me that the only way they could access the cameras was if we filed a fraud case -absolutely ridiculous! Well, I watched him make the note on my account and save it to my profile, I even got a picture of the note, and then I filed my fraud case. They don't handle these cases directly, instead they send you a text with a link and give you 250 characters to plead your case! Absurd! We got an email 2 days later stating that they don't believe it's fraud, and that we owe them money, even though they have our property! BEWARE. DO NOT GO HERE. MANAGEMENT IS GARBAGE, THEY JUST WANT TO STEAL FROM YOU AND SEND YOUR CONCERNS TO A BRICK WALL WITH AN AUTO RESPONSE THAT SAVES THEM A PENNY IN THE LONG RUN. DISGUSTING.
