If I could leave 0 stars I would, This used be be a place where I could come in and get actual customer support, now it's all, do it on the app, we can't do this, we can't do that, what's the point of having a physical store? 3 times the reps at AT&T, gave me straight up wrong information adding more time and frustration to this entire process, Went in to return 1 phone, needed up being a total of 4 hours of the phone with support, visiting this store 3 times and I basically had to do the entire thing. Furthermore the unequal treatment of customers at this location is ridiculous. One representative tells me that they won't talk with customer service, then the same representative turns around and calls customer service for another person and talks with customer service. Lying to customers and picking and choosing who you want to help? You shouldn't work in customer service. Literally the bad apple that makes a bunch of other customer service workers look bad. I had recently went to AT&T and upgraded to a 15 Pro Max. The service was OK and for some reason they did not credit on my account the trade-in that I had I asked the salesman why my account did not reflect the credit he said that I should see the credit on my account within the next week or two time goes by and my phone bill never dropped in six months later. I never see a credit to my account AT&T currently owes me roughly $850 for a phone that I traded to them. So I went to the store. I sat there for an hour waited for a manager to come out. They said that the manager was not there, a co-manager that apparently had been working there for four days, spoke with me. They said they would get the note to the manager. A week goes by still no response. I show up a second time sitting there for another hour and a half talking to a sales rep and the manager still does not come speak to me. They said that they would get the message to them. Never called me, I went in a third time. Luckily the manager was there at 1 PM. Spoke with him. He said that he would get everything straightened out. It is now been two months and I have not seen a credit on my account and no sort of update on the credit. I don't know what is going on over there, but these people are crooks they took my phone, never gave me my trade-in value for it and will not speak to me. If they did this to me, I wonder how many other people they have done this to and nobody realizes. I do not recommend going to this branch. read more

Walked in to upgrade a device. We had to ask for someone to sign us in. The guy did tell us it was slow. No problem. When our name came up on the screen no one called our name. We had to find another employee to ask why we weren't called. She had the NERVE to tell us we must not have been paying attention!!! read more

We went in on a Saturday afternoon for a problem with my wife's phone. There were only two reps on the floor, with wait times averaging 1.5 hours. No apologies were made for the inconvenience; in fact, we were informed that this was because of shift change and lunch, and lectured on how difficult it was to keep reps on the floor. Upon finally getting to meet with an associate, he was so rude that I had to leave the table for the betterment of the conversation, and while I was away, he tried to sell my wife things twice, and then called her rude when she said that she wasn't interested. When I insisted, admittedly very angrily, that the manager apologize for the inordinate wait and the rudeness of her subordinate, she didn't simply refuse. She STOOD there unspeaking as I insisted three times that she apologize, looking at me as if I were a consummate idiot. The rep had to come across the store himself, at which point he insisted that he had already apologized at the table, but would apologize in front of me. Then we left. Bear in mind that throughout all of this, we got nothing done, not even a battery diagnostic because their machinery was broken. There was no professionalism, no courtesy, no knowledgeability, but an awful lot of apathy. Having had such an unpleasant interaction with AT&T Ambassador Caffery, we expected more of the same from the West Congress. Instead, West Congress was everything that Ambassador was not. With the same amount of reps and no obvious manager, the response was immediate and quite good. Roderick was extremely capable, very pleasant and courteous, very professional and knowledgeable, and got us in and out of there, despite several questions, in 10 minutes; all without trying to sell us anything that we didn't need. THAT is what service is supposed to be about there, AT&T! You folks need to send whoever is training West Congress over to your Ambassador location. We are going to Roderick for all of our needs from now on, no matter that the Ambassador store is six blocks away, and the West Congress store is 3 miles! read more

I had an emergency last evening; my phone fell in a puddle and was run over before I realized it was missing. At 7 pm I showed up at the store. A young man named Chris spent much time and energy knowledgeably and sympathetically replacing my phone and helping me recover the essential info like contacts. He went beyond what was necessary to what was exceptional service. I am impressed and will remember him as a valuable resource. read more

This location was once the preferred at&t customer service and repair location (with the separate repair center located just across the street in the strip mall as the old UFC GYM) in the area. Sadly, this is no longer the case. After explaining issue to Ashley--her response laced with bemused condescension--I attempted to explain my issue to "Duan (?), the Assistant Manager". at&t support explained earlier (via phone of course) that my issue was due to a downed tower in the Opelousas area. Ashley's response was to replace the SIM card, suggested all of the phone's on the account should have their SIM card's replaced, and that she didn't know where the at&t tech got her downed tower information from. Since both she and the tech work for the same company I suggested perhaps she should reach out to Support. Ashley, did not acknowledge my suggestion. When I asked to speak to the Assistant Manager, well, he clearly was not interested in anything that resembled customer service, continued to exchange glances with Ashley throughout our conversation, clearly wanted me to just go away, and as I drove off he was outside on his bluetooth having a telephone conversation. I guess this is what happens when you let teenagers run your store. read more

The sales people are all liars & thieves!!!! I went to switch my account to Sprint and cancel with AT&T. I thought everything was handled but instead AT&T kept charging me for my tablet but not the phone. When you say cancel my account that means cancel everything! After calling AT&T and speaking with three people plus a manager I was told that they could not help! I believe the sales person that helped me in the store the day got mad because he could not talk me into staying with AT&T and therefore only canceled one phone number. They do work on commission you know!!!!! read more

Absolute joke, wish yelp took negative reviews. After two hours in the building, absolutely nothing accomplished. Attempted to transfer business lines, felt the the process went in reverse. What has happened to the mighty AT&T? Their service is the pits. Made big mistake with bundling services. Should have gone with COX. if You make it through the automated answer erring you then get clueless reps...then end up hearing it will be weeks before a service rep can make it to your home. While you wait on rep as if you had nothing better to do, you don't get updates or status... Reps just no show or show. It's a coin toss. Went to the store back in November of 2019 to check options about upgrading my daughter's phone. Joshua and Michael (manager) sold me a new phone with a promotion of half off with a new line. Advised it was OK to cancel the extra line if not needed. Got copy of texts with this information. I did as instructed and after a couple of months found out I couldn't receive the $500. So manager said they will fix it (again I have proof of this conversations) by reactivating the line (which they did on their side) and he said that after 3 months, AT&T not only will reimburse me the charges on the extra line but also will get the $500 credit. After 6 months, all I got was the credit for the 5 months they kept charging for the extra line, plus $100. They still owe me $400. To add insult to injury, the "manager" with whom I was texting/calling about this issue, disconnected the phone on me last night and told me not to call him again. He stated that AT&T had fully compensated me and that this situation was not their error. Even though I have the proof of their misinformation. Sad thing is, Joshua which is the agent that initially took care of me, showed more respect and service (in spite of his misinformation) than this "manager" Michael Davis. Hanging the phone on a customer is never OK. I had him on speaker phone and everyone in my living room (other 3-4 people) couldn't believe what he did. It's unbelievable that AT&T tolerates this type of unprofessional behavior. I have been their customer for over a decade if not more, with 3 lines, internet and cable. The whole time he was taking over me while on the phone, Mr. Davis kept blaming corporate for the delay in receiving the credit. He has no clue that HE is the face of AT&T. And a very unprofessional one. Needless to say, I am already in the process of canceling every service I have with them. I know they could care less, as I am only one customer. But there will come a time that AT&T will need us customers. As far as my money, I will forward all the proof I have of their deception and business practices to the BBB. read more

Previous visits prepared me for this recent visit. I explained that my phone had water damaged, was working about 90%, but instead of risking it getting better with the "rice trick", I wanted to buy a new phone. I also stated that I did not want to be hit up with the sales pitches for Direct TV, talk about my current cable bill, or get an I-Pad for only $1. I instead was barraged with a payment plan instead of paying in full. I asked enough questions to find out I would pay the same over time, but explained AGAIN, that I wanted to pay in full now. "But you will want to upgrade in a year or so and you would lose so much money", they pressed. NO! I USE MY PHONE UNTIL IT STOPS WORKING. I AM NOT ONE THAT NEEDS THE NEW UPDATED VERSION OF EVERYTHING IN LIFE TO FEEL FULFILLED, I stated firmly. Just replace this damaged phone, I will pay entire balance, and if you would be so kind to transfer everything to my new phone it would be appreciated. Disgustingly shaking his head, the salesman stated, "you aren't getting anything off that phone". I left saying the customer service of at least trying was all I expected. Therefore, I will go somewhere else. Response from him was "fine". WENT HOME AND PLUGGED PHONE INTO I-TUNES ACCOUNT AND WAS ABLE TO DOWNLOAD NEW APPLICATIONS AND SYNC WITH COMPUTER. I may still have to get a new phone (as I was prepared to do), but it WILL NOT BE PURCHASED FROM THIS STORE. $650 walked out of the store - never to return. read more

This store Sucks!!! Don't go there if you are with AT&T. We entered the store they wrote our name down. We waited ten minutes for someone to wait on us! We were the only customers in store. Three guys played on phone and talked with each other that worked there. Still no help for ten minutes then another guy comes from the back same color as us and he waited on us. We told him thanks. The minute we sat down a color person walked in and one of the three guys waited on him. I felt like the store was very prejudice. I will not ever set foot in the store again. Went in with my dad (who is an authorized user on our family's shared plan) and brother to replace my iPhone 6S+ that was overdue for an upgrade. Mind you I live in Baton Rouge, so if I have any phone issues I need information from my parents to do anything. I was also in military uniform and was exhausted after a long day. The first guy who helped us Saturday February 5 (Cody?) was helpful in looking up the information and scoring a promotion trade in deal and other deals that would have knocked the monthly payments down significantly. He told me, my dad, and my brother that I could trade in my phone for a new iPhone 13 within 14-30 days. Since I do not live in the area I chose to go back the next day (Sunday February 6) after drill (between 4-5 pm). The first guy was busy, so another guy (Dylan?) came over. This second guy first had no clue what a USBc adapter was (YOU WORK FOR A MAJOR COMPANY THAT SPECIALIZES IN TECH SERVICES!!!) then continuously asked my dad stupid questions when we had to call him. I was then told that my old phone was in fact ineligible for the promotion trade in. This is not the first time an AT&T employee has told me opposite information than another employee. WHERE IS THE CONSISTENCY?! A manager attempted to find a deal which was NOT what my dad and I had agreed to. I was instructed to call the guy who helped us Saturday in front of his manager to give us the deal that was promised and tell him that he lied. He was busy with a customer, so the manager refused to ask him to see us when he finished. While my old phone was erased and my new one functioning well, the employees I interacted with were rude, inconsiderate liars. The manager, even though she attempted to get a good deal, was rude and inconsiderate the entire time. No apologies for the mix up. She didn't seem to care when I said we would consider calling a lawyer. I left in tears and struggling to maintain professional composure before having a panic attack in my car (full on ugly crying and hyperventilating). DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! My family will be keeping the old phone to ensure that a new line was not placed on the account. If it is, we will be calling a lawyer. I will be cancelling my internet service with AT&T. They say they are a military friendly service with FirstNet, but their customer service says otherwise. read more
