One word to describe the service received. WOW! We had the pleasure of Christian assisting us with moving a phone from from another provider onto an existing AT&T account. Christian also assisted in the upgrade of my phone as well. There were several other customers in the store and he made each one of us feel like we had his undivided attention. I used to say going to a phone provider store was worse than buying a car. Not sure I can say that any longer thanks to Christian and the remarkable service he provided. read more

Yo, what the f$&k, I was asked to add a iPad for only 4.99 a month, something small like that, I told this dude there has to be a catch and he straight up assured me there's no catch, I told him there's no way I'd get a new iPad for 4.99 a month sure enough I get my bill and there's a added extra line for that same iPad, on each line I added there's premium insurance $17.00 a month, ATT Turbo $7 a month, none of this was brought up or asked about, I don't need a hotspot, i don't need premium insurance, I don't need a phone number or line attached to a iPad as it is for my daughters educational purposes, he saw my daughter pick out the color, i told him it was for my daughter who is 3yro and not once was anything about a iPad with a added extra line attached to it, I see I was charged 112 for this, so now I cannot return this iPad as it has been 14 days past and they either want me to pay off the whole iPad or just continue the line, this location is deceiving and lied right to my face, do not believe them when they try and sell you a iPad for $4.99 a month cause on the bill it's not even 4.99 a month, it's $13, I couldn't imagine being a salesman and going about sales in this way, that's wildly cowardly and grimey. read more

BEWARE. FRAUD. ‼ An employee at this location stole my CC # and bought an iPhone AND added it to my acct so it would go on my bill months later. Upon further investigation, AT&T recognized it was fraud through all of the evidence we have along with the police dept (case is filed). I knew something was "off" when they kept being OVERLY friendly to me...over the top, too much!! Well...the police/detective are now involved. Upon further review of others with similar issues, I will be contacting our Atty General, Ashley Moody's and filing a complaint with their office/state immediately. ZERO STARS!!!!!! read more

Absolutely worst service you will ever receive. We have had to come to this location multiple times to correct mistake after mistake. Save yourself the time and money and go to ANY other location. I originally went in for the trade in promotion. The associate helping me was barely trained and clearly only cared about commission as he continually harassed about upgrading more lines on the account. While doing the trade in the new associate shut off cell service without telling me. After I left this location and was on with support for over an hour trying to get phone service back. Then I was misled about a promotion for a "free" Apple watch. It was not free for my state, (the associate read the promotion wrong) and this was actually going to increase my monthly bill. when I came back to return the watch (within the allotted return window) I was denied by the associate for multiple made up reasons. I had to drive to another location where I was able to return the watch with no problems or "restocking" charge. I received my refund for the sales taxes paid. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. Pitiful, despicable service. read more

At this location, customer service is seldom pleasant. I waited 20 minutes without a greeting or "choose a number/sign up" or "be with you soon", just dangling in the middle of the store while 2 employees were with customers (in slow social motion) and one just came on duty and wandered, made no eye contact with anyone, stopped at a register and then sauntered back in the back. Went today to let my adult daughter start her own account and move her line off mine. Made her an authorized user on the phone before we went. Asked the phone rep "so I won't have to be there with her and she can set it all up, right?" Was told definitely, yes. Get there, was told nope-I needed to come in. One person was wearing a mask out of all the staff working. He was new. When he tried to help us, he had questions. Various other people came over-without masks. Walked right up on us. I moved back to keep 6'. The one guy came around the plastic barrier and kept coming up in my bubble, even while I walked away. Another error and clerical issue with cancelling a payment--and really I needed to be out of there. Anxiety ramping and I'm waiting on a call which of course I missed because they told me I couldn't leave while they did stuff in their end. It's always a major ordeal dealing with AT&T. I could have gotten past a lot of the issues causing me a hassle if they had just been wearing masks and stayed 6' away. But not fulfilling the promise of corporate AND walking up on us without wearing masks was just unbelievable. I would give them zero stars if I could. Next time I go to N. Lakeland store. read more

The rudest manager Jim Ciraolo and terrible service I ported 3 lines from Verizon because AT&T said they could reduce my monthly bill by 25$ a month and would give me three free phones. Complete lie. My first bill was 286 and after all the start up costs(not explained) the cost would be 146 a month plus the phones were not free. This amount is more than my previous Verizon Bill. After being on with ATT Customer Care for 2 hours they told me to go to this store and return the phones since I was still in the Buyers Remorse period. When I got to the store they told me I would have to pay a restocking fee of 45$ each. When I objected the manager stepped in(Jim Ciraolo). He told me that he would not do anything and was quite flippant about it. When I said I was a retired ATT VP and would not accept this treatment, or contract and would escalate the matter to my contacts(yes I was upset after all this). He said "If you are really a retired VP from ATT you should have know better" . Then he laughed at me. Instead of making the situation better he made it worse. I walked out. Stay away. read more

Shoppers beware! I have been an at&t customer for 17 years and after dealing with this store and the incompetence and dishonesty of their staff, specifically, frank I believe his name is, was enough to pay off our devices and go elsewhere. They were so dishonest that I am willingly paying more at Verizon in exchange for more honest business practices. It's shameful that a business carries on this way. I hope they like their jobs because I can't imagine they will succeed past the jobs they have now read more

I was greeted by Nate who was very friendly from the start. He helped me get what I wanted and suggested things he thought I'd like. He wasn't pushy and I walked out in about 15 minutes with exactly what I wanted. If you go here ask for him. He's very nice and helpful. read more

The Lakeland store provided poor customer service. I entered the store expecting help and exited looking for another service provider. Fortunately, I tried a different approach by contacting customer service by phone. The customer service representative over the phone was very helpful and help resolve my issue. I would not ever visit the Lakeland store due to their poor customer service; the customer service representatives were not accommodating at all. read more
