This particular Spectrum was a bit of a letdown. It is currently under construction inside to become a Spectrum Mobile store. (I had to come here to drop off a piece of equipment that had become redundant and this was the only store in the area available. Once it becomes a Mobile only store, I've been told that I will have to find another that deals in internet, cable, etc. I don't know why it can't handle all of it.) There were two workers assisting two customers. When I walked in, they looked up but did not greet me or even acknowledge that I had entered the store. After waiting a while, one finished and I walked up to the counter. Customer service improved and the worker was polite and took care of the returned item with a receipt, both physical and via email. When I left, there were at least 10 people queued up behind me. Considering many people in this area are forced to go with Spectrum, it is sad that they are closing the only store like this in the neighborhood. read more

Every day I turn on my TV and every day I receive a notification to "please wait". I'm getting tired of this day in and day out, or to resort to unpluging the TV box and plug it in again and then wait around for 20 minutes for it to reset and it still doesn't work. And what if I call? They have me unplug my box and wait and then there are satisfied if it works. Today I went through the same drill and couldn't get channels 26, 30, 89 and 113, and that was after a 20 minute "please wait" drill. Guess what? Unplugged and waited 20 minutes for a reset again. I just found out over a year that I have been paying for a cable box that I don't need. One billing representative realize that it was an error and credit me for four month of having a cable box. The problem is that I was paying for over a year for a box of $24.99. I ask for a credit and they refused to back date if for the year that I was paying for that money. I had two representative stated that it is was my fault and I suppose to know how cable and internet work. I don't work for Spectrum so how do I suppose to know that. The billing managers told me I should read all of there policies. I won't every one to know who they treat their customers. That explains why they are low on the food chain of customer service and their service on tv and internet is not great as well. I canceled Spectrum due to them constantly turning tv channels into pay channels. Every time we got into a program it changed to a pay channel. We also had to constantly rebut our router for WiFi because WiFi kept going down. We own a smart house and rely on WiFi. When we canceled it was less than 10 days into our billing cycle, spectrum is demanding full payment for the month. I am refuse to pay for services I did not receive. Think about all the people that cancel in your town, county, state, etc. they are doing this to everyone. They also sent a letter to people in CA who canceled and owed them money, if they signed back up they would not report the balance to the credit agencies. This is just slimy business. BEWARE OF PROMISES AND PROMOTIONS MADE BY SPECTRUM! You cannot trust what the representative tells you. They swore there was no up charge for keeping our landline yet one month in there was an additional charge for that service. The first bill had the statement that certain items were set to be included "at no additional charge" until one year later (7-22) ... one of those items was the a line stating that included the landline but amazingly one month later they claimed we requested the NEW SERVICE OF LANDLINE and charged us $12+ for the "free service"! This is an extremely high volume Spectrum location. I went shortly after a 10 a.m. opening and there was already a line out the door in the cramped quarters with seating. They have a digitized sign-in and require sign in to even answer a question. There were 2 employees working with the 2 dozen waiting in line. Zero social distancing. I waited outside 30 minutes and they had made little headway. While they do a better job moving customers than AT&T across the street, they need some training in logisitcs. People dropping things off (a check, and extra cable box) should be handled by a separate clerk. Customers should NOT be bringing their 3 kids for all this waiting in suh a small space, limit them to waiting outside. There is no parking for the disabled nearby and it is a hike (and without seating on arrival). They had a good deal on mobile--until you see the fine print-that it requires 2 phones to be valid. read more

Just don't do it. They are horrible. We pay over $200 a month for nothing but pixilated tv. For months our service has been pixilated. We've had several repairmen out here, but the lines further down the street need repairs. Over two months now and still nothing. I'll probably go back to Directv. I declined, and was informed my final bill which has been paid would not be refunded or prorated. this place is awful!!!! so we recently moved to lakeland. proir to the move november 30th i called to let them know so we caould transfer our cablbe and internet. well after a month we received the bill for 2 months worth of billing that was incorrect so i went to yhe lakeland office to see if someone could help. i explained that we moved and not sure why i have a bill thats so high and could they look into it after 30 minutes the sales person thats was helping me realized that spectrum never closed my old account before my move and the had been charging me the entire time like we lived their. so he was able to be ahold of upper management and they looked at the account said yes we need to close this account and put in for a credit back to this account. the sale person asured me the notes are in their and everything will be fixed and aslo he noticed inwas being changed for cable at my new place and i was only doing steaming. so he said i get this fixed too he then gave me a paper of the channels i should have been receiving and everything is fixed now. so when we get home still not fixed. and i receiving notice of canceltaion of our serve non payment. so i them went back up to the lakeland office and had to expalain again was had happened and the same sales guys was thier thankgoodness to say the manager sarah was working on it to get my credit back. so i asked the sales guy andy if i could talk to the manager just to make sure he said hold on one second and came back up front said she leaving for the day and cant come. but andy asured me she was talkong care of it!!!! and he would follow up with me. so couple days later i received a call from andy andni saved it on my voicemail that sarah was still working on it not to worried. so two week went by and i start getting notice agian then my serve will be cut off non payment. we owen our owen business here in lakeland and have a account with you aslo and the business department called to make sure everything is going well. i explained what inwas going through and she said let me see what i can do ( kelly hill) amazing person!!!! she needs a raise!! she worked very hard with me for two weeks on trying to get this fixed meanwhile the person that was helping her said it looked like my payment did not get processed before we moved. i told her yes it did i send you copies of my bank statements where it cleared and i did and she forwarded to retention department. so meanwhile why we are still waiting my service was cut off so i had to pay to get it back on!!!!!!!! this is horrible being i have already paid you!!!!! talk about taking peoples money !!!! oh and inforgot sarh never called me or did she take care of anything!!!!!! so heres where i am i going to go to bbb to file a complant!!!! horrible!!! and it's still not fixed!!!!! i hope someone reads this!!! please make sure to check your bank when you pay and they dont try and take more of your money!!!! read more
