This place is horrible. You always have 1 person checking people in who could be helping customers. They sit and BS in the back with customers waiting. It takes forever to see someone, it's like they have 2 people who work and 4 that do absolutely nothing. I despise this store but there isn't another one close to me. I try to do all I can to avoid coming in here but customer service on the att app always f up so I'm forced to come in here. This is the worst location to go to. I had the worst experience with the representative named Aldae. She lacks integrity and customer service skills. She cancelled my internet service without my consent and told me I was upgrading. Little did I know she was cancelling my service and opening new service so she could get the commission from that sale. I feel she is very fraudulent and should be retrained. I am taking this problem up with corporate and her District Manager so that this problem can be addressed accordingly. read more

Fortunately, I double checked with the AT&T by the mall. I got the S9 plus half off, & I lowered the bill overall by $50 even with the added line. Go to that AT&T. If I could give this At&T branch location zero stars I would. Every time I've been here I have had a bad experience but today topped it off. I've been a customer for over 2 years and I went into this location today because I wanted to cancel my phone service. There were only 2 employees working at the time and there were 4 people ahead of me. My husband and my newborn baby left to Walmart as I stayed waiting for help. I let the employee at the time (didn't get her name, older lady, heavy-weight) know that I was there and wanted to cancel my lines and she said she would go ahead and check me in. After waiting for about an hour and a half more employees started coming in but were in the back of the store for a while before coming up to the front. I then realized they started helping people who came in AFTER me. So I asked the gentleman how many people were ahead of me and where did I stand on the list because I was pretty sure that I got there before the people who were being attended. He then realized my name wasn't on the list at all.... so he asked an employee who was about to start helping another customer to help me because I had been skipped, and that's when she started with her smart remarks. Her name is Nicolle by the way. Nicolle, looked at me up and down and said skipped??? and laughed. The gentleman said he'd help me when he was done with the customer he was helping or as soon as someone became available. Nicolle continued to stare at me and laugh. Shortly another employee came out and started helping once again a customer AFTER me. So I told them if someone can please help me, that all I need is to cancel my phone line....that's when Nicolle with an attitude said they don't cancel services in store. So I told her I wish the lady would've told me that before wasting two hours of my time while my newborn is waiting for me crying in the car with my husband.... she then started laughing and just staring at me. So I asked her if there was a reason she kept looking at me, and she laughed and walked away to the back. This branch is extremely unprofessional, won't be returning. read more

Carelessness resulting in dropped credit score! Writing this review on behalf of my grandparents. A store employee failed to note in their system that their phone had been returned, which resulted in a bill for $900 for the phone. Several messages were left for the manager asking for a return call to help resolve, and not a single call was returned. Within a few weeks, AT&T reported the unpaid bill to a debt collector. More calls to the store manager, again not returned. This ordeal caused a 50 point drop to my grandpa's credit score. He was finally able to get in touch with corporate (they only accept disputes by certified mail, and then call you at their leisure), and had to request (after submitting proof of the return) that their team write a letter to Experian removing the bad debt. He had to request this action multiple times; he was initially told that they couldn't do anything, even though they acknowledged that it was their mistake that caused this. After hours and hours spent of his own time, he was finally able to get his credit score fixed. If he would've accepted their "oh well, nothing we can do" response", this is something that would've taken years to fix. Ridiculous display of ineptitude; I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Sadly I was unaware when switching from Verizon to AT&T, that AT&T's service is so completely horrible in Southern California. I was a former customer since they were Cingular Wireless and the network was strong and fast. But as smartphones exploded and more and more people began getting them, this dumb company was more focused on profits. This has resulted in a lack of towers/coverage and an overloaded network that's actually slower that their 3G+ network. Their Microcell was actually given to me for free to combat these issues and that hardware is just as bad. It won't stay connected to their network, my iPhone doesn't connect 75% of the time, to make calls, anywhere, at home or on the go, and while I'm aware that we are surrounded by rural areas, I live in the middle of Lancaster. The data is surprisingly marginally better than the voice service. Anyway, thankfully we're nearing the end of the 2yr contract and are leaving this company. If you're wondering, AT&T Wireless has fallen to dead last (of the big 4 including T-Mobile and Sprint) in network speed and reliability as well as customer service, yet their pricing would have you think they're still 2nd best in the country. Eventually more and more people will wake up to this and leave as we are. And as for the store and DIRECTV, I have been a DIRECTV subscriber for years. Some moron in the store screwed up everything during the transaction. He attempted to set up my house (which already had existing DIRECTV service which I stated numerous times) with new DIRECTV service. He did this apparently to raise his sales commission (though he was committing a crime) eventually having the DIRECTV side of their new merged company, actually try and accuse ME of fraud. Their staff showed up at my home and ripped the wires for the dish completely out (including the interior lines as well as the box out on the side yard) and then left my home, disconnected, saying he wasn't allowed to perform services as this appears to be fraud. That was only day 1 of this disaster as then the bills got all screwed up, it literally took months, and had to go way up the chain, up higher than the retail store management, and threats of lawsuits for trying to screw with my credit, to get this disaster all sorted out. I would never again recommend this company, to anyone, EVER!!! I wish I could rate AT&T/DIRECTV lower than 1 star and I only hope that people actually read this and other reviews and reconsidering. You'll join at your own risk but don't say we didn't try and warn you, while honest mistakes may happen, there is no excuse for charging premium prices for the worst service in the country. read more

On January 31, 2019 I walked into the store and wasn't greeted by anyone until 15 minutes later to sign in, even though the att staff see's you standing there. As I sat there waiting to be helped 2 more customers walked in and stood by the door waiting to be greeted and sign in, after 20 minutes of standing they were finally greeted. ***FRAUDULENT CHARGES*** I go to pay my first bill and over the phone I am told it is $771.71 this throws up red flags , someone added another line, not another person that got my info a random employee number was attached. this was a 500 dollar charge on top of my 271.00 charge for my 1st 2 month prorated amount they remove the 500 with no explination as to how and i go to pay my 271 to balance my account and i am told I am being charged 420.00 this again sends up red flags I try and call the customer service they tell me to talk to the store this happens multiple times back and forth until im fed up. I signed up for an account when I left the store I was told by the representative that signed me up that my bill would be less then $100.00 if I wanted I could have a pad for $10.00. As a disabled veteran I am on a fixed income and I decided I could push the extra 10 bucks a month. so to my understanding i should pay 110 a month easy and i was told by this same employee that i would get a 100 credit to my acount once my first month is paid. now that they took their time with getting it strait i was never given my 100 dollar credit the pab went from 10 to 20 so that is an extra 40 dollars there, the run around of back and forth they sent me on is $80-100 in uber rides. the late charges $80 and the fraudulent charges $500 plus I am a student so my time to study was taken from me which is unmeasurable. now I no longer have a phone line. All I asked for was compensation for the trial their company started, and has lead to this and while in the store normally with a nice demanor today i was upset. and I felt I was being judged by the employees in there when I turned to the manager of this location and told her "you're sitting over there glaring at me with judgmental eyes" I pointed out her actions and they told me i could leave the store becuase I insulted them. Went into the AT&T store to get another phone. Easy process was in and out. When the bill came it was almost 300.00. I called AT&T service they told me the service person at the store added all this stuff to my account after being on the phone for 30 mins it was resolved. The bill was now 191.00. I told the person on the phone they need to train the service people in the store better I'm tired of dealing with this everytime I have a problem with my phones. Its getting to the point that I am seriously looking to find a phone provider. You get better service on the phone then in the store. read more

I would love to find an AT&T store that didn't suck. Because this one really does. I have att 911 and local calls only for 5 bucks a month but the bill comes out to 36 bucks (only reason I have att is because I need the phone line for my DSL) . I don't understand att billing, screw you for everything they can must be their motto. But the funny thing is I have T mobile with 5 lines unlimited data, unlimited calls, unlimited text for 130 a month and one phone line from att cellular works out to be beyond that. Please they don't deserve your business. Hope you read this before committing to do anything with ATT. Customer service doesn't exist. ATT reps refuse to acknowledge anybody who enters the store, they declared they were too busy. None of us could get checked in to get on the list for service. The security guard was the only person who had concerns for the customers. The ATT reps were very condescending to him when he attempted to get everybody checked in. He went out of his way to assist us but had no equipment or authority to check us in and took a lot of abuse for trying to help us. If you like dealing with Snowflakes, this is your type of store. The store at the AV Mall is the complete opposite, worth the drive to go there. Thanks to the man who was the security guard, he was exceptional. read more

New customers, Do not go to the store inside the Antelope Valley mall. Its just an authorized store with only two employee. They just want to sell the products/plan to get the commision, not an official store. They try to hide the other fees, when you realize from the monthly bill, its over 14 days return policy. I came in to the store today and appreciated the communicative charisma of one by the name of Salvador. He helped me decide between which phones to get, the pros, cons, the gist of the galaxies, LGs, and the specials/promotions of validity. Amazing customer service and cordiality of the employees. Helpful and to the point. Salvador even did the job for me of transferring everything from my old phone to my new one, registering me for a promotion, and was a huge help. went in last night to change from verizon to AT&T was told i could lower my bill, my TV bill, and get a phone 1/2 off, it was running late and i needed to get my kids asked if I should come back to finish that night or if i could come in the next morning (today) I was told no worries come back tomorrow everything will be the same. I go in today and get told oh no the promotion for the 1/2 off phones expired yesterday. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. i could have done it and was told no don't worry about it. The manager proceeds to say 'sorry' nothing we can do. Here's a tip of what you can do - train your employees!!! According to manager "we don't know when promotions end" then what you do is train your employees to say just that! Thank you AT&T for validating exactly why I will not be leaving Verizon. read more

This review is long overdue. I had the fortunate opportunity to meet with Sabrina Garcia a couple months ago at the Lancaster branch and she went above and beyond my expectations. First off, I had zero experience with iphones (always had androids) and she was patient and super helpful showing me shortcuts during our appt and also during a followup appt later on. She was exceptionally knowledgeable on the plans (I'm also new to ATT) and helped me find the perfect one for me. I despise shopping for phones as much as cars, but she made the experience pleasant and more bearable. Due to some challenges (on my part), I had to contact her via email and text and meet with her again and each time she was super helpful, patient and not the least bothered by my continual pestering. She even remembered me, which made the followup so much easier since we didnt have to start from scratch. HIGHLY recommend her if you need to go to the Lancaster branch or any surrounding branch. read more

My husband visited initially to have a screen protector replaced, within the return policy. He was turned away because supposedly they don't do returns or exchanges although it was never mentioned nor disclosed on the return policy. Additionally, no one knew where the managers were to help. He called customer service who apologized and kindly asked if he can return to the store because they can indeed help with the request. I went in lieu of him because he has a bit of a temper. Of course I spoke with an associate who declined and then I spoke with a manager. They both said it was policy that they couldn't help but were unable to justify it. Because it was easier to just replace the screen than deal with me, they ultimately complied. It was such a waste of time arguing with me, I wasn't trying to scam anyone. They might as well have computers helping you, it's lower cost labor. read more

I waited in my car before the doors opened, immediately walked in and added my name to the list when the store opened, sat and waited for 20 minutes before someone finally talked to me, then they were unable to assist and told me to call ATT help instead. At&t and Samsung suck! They have terrible customer service and products. I purchased a samsung galaxy s5 active from at&t (a phone advertised by both company's to be water resistant up to 3m of water). It dropped in my sink for 5 seconds and no longer works. I have been going back and forth between at&t and samsung and they tell me there is nothing they can do. I had 2 managers and an associate from at&t tell me the phone is defective. I was sold a defective phone but no one stands by their product or customers to do anything about it! Im left paying on AT&T's "next plan" for a defective phone that doesn't work... P.s April I believe is her name, she's the little hispanic manager; she has by far the worst customer service I have encountered. Wow, this place sucks! Went in today to purchase the Galaxy S5, you would think on release day they might have more than 4 people working. As I sat there, bored out of my mind (this is a big store with NOTHING in it), I watched all of the employees not seeming to realize that a good amount of people are starting to show up and the queue is getting pretty backed up. It was clear that these folks cannot get anything done in a reasonable amount of time, I watched a couple have to wait at least 30 minutes just to buy a case. I took my chances & waited a bit longer, after an hour of waiting on "The list" I finally get called up. I sat down with the guy, who just started his shift, told him what I wanted, then he went to the back to get the phone I assume. I didn't stick around to see, as the employee disappeared for almost 15 minutes I decided it was time to go. I'll never go back, guaranteed. read more

Went to buy my mother a cell phone at the Lancaster W Ave J ATT store in late Jan 2016 and had the worst cell phone purchase experience ever. We purchased the phone and the rep set it up but when we walked out with the phone it immediately stopped working. Went back in and sat for 20+ mins while the manager "updated"the phone in the back. This was the only time that I've purchased a cell phone and the store didn't make sure all of the updates were done before I left the store with the new phone. After the manager tried to convince us that it is normal to have to bring a phone back to get updates right after you walk out of the store I decided that I'd rather shop elsewhere. Paid the restocking fee to return the phone and moved on. Zero customer service. Fyi gave up landlines and went completely cellular nearly 20 years ago so have had the cell phone purchase experience quite a few times. read more

I own a business and I called a few months back. And I said my service is horrible. They said it's your phone. Blah blah. So I go in buy a NEW phone. Zero service so today I am fed up. All my employees are dropping calls. I got a hold of business tech support and this lady being extremely rude explained how to turn of voice and data to only data under the cellular option. Then I said ok. I still have NO service. She talked about wifi calling and I was like WHY? She said there is only 1 tower off ave M. I said ok so WHY SELL YOUR SERVICE HERE? What am I supposed to do. How are my field crew supposed to connect to wifi in the field. She told me what would you like me todo build you a tower. I am beyond furious. And I pay a lot for my phone bill. I'm don't and will be switching my service and ALL my employee phones immediately. Unreal. read more

So I came in with the intention of getting a 32 gb iPhone 7. From the start I knew I had an aggressive salesperson from how she was pushing all these products on me. I told her I wanted a black iPhone 7 32 gb. She goes to the back and comes back with and tells me they are out. As I'm about to leave she insists that I wait for she can go check again. After 5 minutes of waiting she comes back with a black one and tells me it turns out they have one left. So I go through the activation process and go home to play with my new phone. As I'm going through it I notice I had the 128 gb phone. So to make a long story short she sold me a 128 gb phone without my knowledge. Moral of the story is check what they are selling you at this att store cause apparently they will say and do anything just to get a sale. read more
