Issac helped my boyfriend (and myself) purchase and transfer over his current number to the new iPhone pro max 16 from iPhone 13. Issac was EXTREMELY nice and patient. Be very careful when signing up for service through this store! The salespeople must receive commissions on the "extras" they sell you. We said multiple times we didn't want certain add-ons, and were assured they weren't on the order. When we went to sign, "M" handed us a tablet on which to sign, but there was no way to review the actual order...the only screen was for the signature. He said he couldn't print it out, but assured us that things like "AT&T Protect Advantage" were NOT on there. Of course, it ended up that that service, plus a couple of others, were added to our order. It took multiple calls and about four hours of time to get the bill resolved and back where it should have been in the first place. I'm sure "M" got his commission. (FYI, we signed up for service as part of purchasing new iPhones + accessories. The store made plenty of money on us that day, which made it all the more irritating that they purposefully lied to squeeze more out of us.) read more

My husband and I recently switched from Sprint to AT&T, yesterday, Sunday afternoon, after church. Honestly?? We were kind of hesitant. We saw a lot of people in AT&T and we thought we would be waiting awhile. On Saturday, we went to a Sprint store to try to have my husband's cell phone fixed; and while they were nice, 1.5 hours later, we still didn't get his phone fixed. Before we went into AT&T, we had several requests....to keep our phone number, be able to use our military discount, and because we already have Directv...if there was a discount there, available to us. Taylor Graham heard everything I had to say, and she said, let's sit down and see what we could do. I had my iPhone 8 paid off with sprint and I wanted to transfer my number over. She said that my phone needed to be unlocked to completely transfer over. I contacted Sprint, using her work phone and they said they would put in a ticket and that it would take up to 72 hours. I'm disappointed with Sprint, in that it would take so long. But, at least I have access to the internet now, whereas before, I had access to nothing, due to the AT&T SIM card. But all in all, it took maybe 1.5 hours. My husband got a brand new iPhone 8, and the Mophie 7 battery case fit perfectly. We were offered an iPad with cellular for an extra $10 a month. I asked if they had WiFi only, and they didn't, so we passed on their kind offer. We were also offered 2 other accessories at a discounted rate; and while we were thankful, we had to pass on the 2 extra accessories for now. We have had AT&T home WiFi internet before, several years ago; and we had such troubles with it....so we were hesitant to make the switch to AT&T cell phones. Our AT&T phones now work in the spotty areas in Georgetown and even in our house. We didn't realize how bad it was with Sprint until our service has excelled so well with AT&T. We have had 3 or 4 bars the entire time. No more trying to find who had free internet to make our phones work...or hooking up to our internet service at home. All in all, Taylor Graham was amazing at AT&T. She is kind, sweet and very caring. Plus, she put up with me and my extremely blunt and honest ways. If we have any issues, we definitely want to work with her again!!! read more

This place has proven time and time again to be one giant scam and it is to the point now that it is unacceptable. We recently got the new IPhone 15 Pro Max's that released last week. I had gotten a promotional text about getting $1000 off with a eligible trade in. So me doing my research I found that the eligible IPhones went all the way back to the 12 Pro Max, which is the phone that I have. So we went in last saturday now a week ago and tried to get a new phone at which they told us they were all out. No big deal we can order them online and be done, and we were. We paid over $200 in fees and taxes on the phones and the man who helped us the first time was very nice and helpful even though he was a bit new (now that new but new enough). Then we waited for them to come in which we were told would be mid October. Luckly for us they came on thursday so we got them very quickly which was awsome, however, we did not realize how much we were about to be screwed. We wanted to turn in our phones today as there is no longer a reason to keep the older ones with the new ones so we walked in and we didn't have to wait too long. The man was nice at first and we told them we were here to return our old phones. He then plays on his tablet for a second and says that we have to mail them back instead of giving them in store even though the man previously told us we could bring it here since its a corporate location, though this did not satisfy this man nor his manager. We then witnessed the longest roller coaster ride of bulls*it I have ever seen in my years of life. We for some reason now have to pay $80 for out next month payments to be able to be eligible for the $1000 off even though we have no remaining payments for this month and have $6 in credit for next month. After a bit of arguing he then slithers his way over to his manager. We waited for about ten minutes for him to waddle back over where he then told us that only fully paid off phones were eligible for trade in. Sadly for the penguin this isn't true since no where did it say on the AT&T website that they had to be paid off. They only had it pertaining to the model but that didn't matter to these people. He said we would have to pay over $900 to be able to apply for what we agreed upon before. So of course im not taking that answer because that is unacceptable to go back on what we agreed upon only a week ago. But what was the mans response? "He was new" which was in refrence to the guy who helped us a week ago. That is a unacceptable reason for why we cannot get what we agreed upon and instead of just eating the loss and moving on he stuck by that bulls*it reason until we left telling us "im sorry for the inconvienience" when you know for sure he did not care in the slightest. Saying he was new does not mend what you are doing to us today and that will never be a excuse that anyone should accept. If they tell you that then go somewhere else because even Walmart had better service that this garbage corporation. So after all that he finally said it would be $271 a month for the phone plan which was around what we agreed upon and then we thought it would be over. As one finally middle finger he says that they may not accept my phone because it only had a few scratches on the face. Even though they were good enough for the last people a week before which by the way the new guy wasn't the only person who looked at our stuff since he had a MANAGER look over it since he was new. So its good enough for him, its good enough for a manager, but now its not good enough for this random employee and his spineless manager who ran into the back after he talked to her. If my phone is not accepted then AT&T will lose another customer. I could get a free phone at verizon but stuck with AT&T since we've been there for years. Loyalty means nothing to these people and never again will I step foot back in that store again. Never come here, go somewhere else that may be less likely to scam you and stay safe because you never know if some new guy is going to trade in your phone and it not be good enough for the next guy. read more

I'd give no stars if that was an option! This store provided no help after AT&T sold me a defective phone a week prior. When I came into the store I explained to the little girl that I was from out of state and I had spoken with an AT&T team member from the store I originally purchase the phone and he sent me there to make an exchange. The original store of purchase, called this location to explain the situation and said it wouldn't be a problem just go in and ask for the manager. I ask for a manager and the little girl that I spoke with was very rude and condescending. She made me feel as though talking to a manager wasn't an option. So, I explained to her what's been going on and I was told to ask for a manager. She went to the back after our brief exchange, then came out and told me they weren't going to exchange my phone. I called the original store of purchase right then in the store. She was rude to him as well and disregarded the fact I just bought the a phone less than 14 days prior. Which is the return or exchange policy according to her. Then she told me I'd have to make an insurance claim and pay the deductible. Which seems a little ridiculous to me because the phone was not damaged and was a factory defect. She treated me like I wasn't telling the truth and that the AT&T employee that was on the phone from the original store didn't work for AT&T at all. If she would've took the time to look up my information, she would've known, where I purchased and who sold it to me. She would've also seen that I purchased two additional phones and watches the same day. Either way very disappointing to be a new customer and be treated this way. Unfortunately, I had to call the original store of purchase which is two states away to provide help. He overnighted me a phone when I should've been able to rectify the situation at this location. read more

Do no go here for iPhones. Salesperson knew very little about the new iPhones. They only had a black one to view so I could not see the new colors in person. She typed the wrong shipping and billing address on my order. I immediately called the ATT main help desk to correct it but it only the billing was corrected. UPS could not deliver to the incorrect shipping address and I could not change or cancel. No one at UPS or at ATT could help. Your best option is to order new or replacement phones online. Then you control the experience and can correct any mistakes should they occur. Update- The store manager is trying to resolve this. She has been very sweet. read more

Okay, so as most of you know (those who know me), I am really loathe to endorse anything AT&T. They have managed to keep me locked in one way or another over the years and really I have never had a positive experience with them .... until today. I had done a lot of my research in advance about what I wanted. This was to be my first big plan change in years, along with an iPad purchase. I had been trying to do this in Chicago, but they never seemed to be in stock (the iPad I wanted). Well, while here in KY for vacation, I checked the online inventory and they had the model I wanted, so I went off for it. I was a little nervous because there were a lot of people here, but walked in expecting the worse. I was instantly greeted by Jonathan Miller (interestingly enough, also noted in an another review). He was bright, polite, and very easy going. I explained all that I wanted and he jumped to it. Incredibly, I was probably in and out in 15 minutes - far less than I anticipated. I wish he worked in Chicago so I could steal him away (Jon - if you ever read this, add me as a friend!) At the very least, I would love to buy him a drink! I wish even one of my previous AT&T experiences were as good as this one! Cheers! read more

I spent almost 3 hours on the phone with customer service after I called every AT&T number out there and was channeled to Direct TV every time. I was in a great mood until I heard, "I so understand your frustration"6 times. The direct TV person transferred me twice and the call dropped twice after waiting on the phone for 15 min. This happened until I lost my temper. At this point they manually transferred me to someone named Courtney. Courtney then tries to tell me that I owed them money for service April 7-May 6. I cancelled my service on 4/6 just for this reason. After porting my number to T-Mobile my account was canceled per the person at the at&t store. Well, as with my DirectTV account that I canceled 3 years ago, its impossible to talk to these people. So as always I filed a complaint with the FCC. And as soon as the charge posts to my account I will dispute it. I called our local sheriff's office to report a "Theft by Deception". Because At&t illegally went into my account after I canceled it and stole $106.90 out of my account. This is a company that you want to stay away from. They take your money illegally. And my 7 year old dog has more customer service in her right foot than the ENTIRE team working at at&t. No wonder their stock sucks. I lost money there too, but thats a whole different story. The company really is in desperate straights if they have to refer to stealing in order to elevate their earnings. And who goes to jail? The CEO? And who do I send my $250.00 bill to for the time I spent unproductively trying to get in touch with them? If you use them, use at your own risk. read more

I have a scheduled bill payment, making my balance $0.00 and still get can't "add a line" to get a watch. Or even buy an accessory. They act like the service is so good when you first go to the store. But it's nothing but a headache. Honestly. The only good thing about at&t is the phones. For tablets, head phones, watches etc. go to Best Buy. They always try to get you on a "plan" for anything & everything. And the fact that they bill you a month ahead, and you make a scheduled payment. But still can't make any changes to add or take away. As big of a company as at&t is. It's ridiculous. Also the way the customer service leads you on, and try to charge you for nothing. It's just a headache. Go to Best Buy, or even Verizon. You'll be much happier. read more

"The new rule started yesterday." So I ask for the X. "This is not going to change my plan?" "No way!" He says. Then I say, "I'd like an iPad mini." "They've been discontinued." He says. "Really" yeah, they weren't selling. If you do t like it just bring it back. I restock fee." Guess what. There are iPad minis everywhere. Cheaper. I've been with att since 1989-that's not a typo. Since the brick phone. This is the end. They lied to me about mini iPad, signed me up for 2 contracts, canceled my grandfathered phone plan, and then didn't even hook up my iPad. read more

As a general rule, I HATE going to wireless stores and would have never anticipated reviewing one higher than a 2 on Yelp. So, why the 5 star rating for this one? Because based on my recent (and only) experience there, I genuinely can't think of a single thing that would have improved the experience. In the spirit of full disclosure, I intentionally went on the evening of Super Bowl hoping to avoid crowds, and it worked. I snagged "rock star parking" right next to their door and was helped immediately upon arrival. The best aspect though was that the salesperson broke every awful stereotype I have the cell phone store employees. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't ask for, was extremely professional and courteous, promptly provided the assistance I needed, didn't mock or challenge my lack of desire for the newest and "best" technology, and seemed very genuine. He mentioned that he was saving money to go to grad school so that he could become a school counselor, and I left hoping he'd apply to the university where I teach. Crazy! I have gone to the AT&T store on Richmond Rd. a few times and truly have nothing good to say about it. Thankfully, I'll never need to set foot in there again now that I know how great the service is at this location. Well done, Reynolds Rd. You've definitely earned a 5-star rating from me. read more

Once the guy called my name he immediately starting helping me with my issues and was helpful in giving my options for my plan to help keep my monthly payment the same! I had a couple issues that needed to be taken care of. I went to the AT&T Store on W. Reynolds Rd. in Lexington, KY. Amber greeted me as soon as I walked in. She told me it would be about a 15 minute wait. It turned out to be only a 10 minute wait. One of the managers approached me and asked if there was anything he could help me with while I waited for another employee. He was able to help me out with both my problems. I was only in the store about 15 minutes. Their staff was friendly, courteous and professional. read more
