I went to this location to upgrade my phone. I told them my camera was broken and I needed a new phone. The employee ensured me that I would get full value for my iPhone 14 even though the camera was cracked. I received an iPhone 17 and kept my old phone for a couple days (you have 30 days to return it to the store) to make sure I got everything transferred over correctly. I took the old phone back within a week or two and a new employee was helping me. He told me that I was only going to get half credit value for my phone since the camera was broken, even though the other employee (who was right next to us) had told me it didn't matter that my camera was broken. Thankfully this employee had a way for me to get my camera fixed free of charge, and allowed me to trade in my old phone for the price I was told before. He is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. Once I traded everything in, I thought everything was good. I got my new bill for my new phone, and the first month was extremely expensive, like more than double what I was paying previously, when I was told it was going to be relatively the same. I knew that there were activation fees for the first month so I let it slide. The second month it was still ridiculously expensive, a little less than the first month but still way more than what I was quoted. I called ATT to figure out why my bill was so high, and they said the Richmond road employees had ADDED the top tier insurance plan and the ATT next up anytime to my bill without my consent. This added almost $40 a month to my bill, and I'm only paying for one line. I asked the customer service associate if that was something that they just automatically put on new phones, and they said no and that I would've had to specifically ask for that to put be put on my bill when I upgraded my phone. I told her to remove that immediately because I had never asked for that nor did I consent to either of those being added to my bill. Basically they have no idea what they're doing (except the one nice guy who was actually helpful) and will add things to your bill without your consent!!!!! read more

Buyer beware, if you shop at the ATT store located on the Bypass in Winchester. I can only find a handful of good reviews for this location. The sales person I delt with had no regard for my time and led me into the store knowing he didn't have the products. read more

I'm not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from. My experience (upgrading an iPhone) at this store was more than satisfactory. The employee who helped me, Lee, was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend this business based on my experience today. Went in to have two iPhones transferred. I sat 40 minutes and stayed #1 on the list without moving. There were 4 employees but only two could help with any technical work. Poor service and extremely slow. At least walk by and apologize for the wait. I won't be back. read more

I went in fully aware of what I wanted prior to going in. I got what I wanted easily. Thank you AT&T. My suggestion is dfo your research and buy your phone outright and unlocked. If you can't do that then don't get it. This is why people never get ahead. Save your money for the things you want and you'll appreciate those things more. Do not go here. My husband bought me the iPhone 11 for Christmas. I wanted the iPhone 11 Pro with the better camera. The phone is still in the box and never been activated. They would not exchange it. Who ever heard of such a thing. read more

My wife and I went into this HORRIFIC store a couple of months ago. We ported our cellphones from Verizon to AT&T. In addition, we signed up for Direct TV. My wife and I were not offered any incentives. Within the last 10 days I saw a TV ad which indicated that if you port a phone and get Direct TV, you get a new I-Phone 7. I called AT&T and they confirmed that I was eligible for the new phone but they could do nothing for me. They said to call the store where we signed up. I just called the store and spoke to the manager. He also confirmed that I was eligible for the new phone when my wife and I signed up. However he also said he could not do anything. He said he was sorry for the "inconvenience" and to "enjoy the rest of my day." read more

My wife and I went here to get me a new phone and to start a new account. After spending over a hour waiting around to be helped a guy comes and helps us. He was super nice and showed us a bunch of phones and plans and was just really helpful. So I thought.. I pick out my phone and plan and go to pay and after he pushed and pushed for me to get the iPhone he tells me they don't have any in stock.. He said I could wait for up to 7 days for them to order one or I could run down to hamburg and get it there. By this time I'd been here close to 2 and a 1/2 hours and was ready to go so I said I'll run and grab it. So I did. I went and got the phone and loved it. So the first month goes by and I get my bill in the mail. Mind you I paid cash for the phone and didn't do the payment plan and pay 3000 dollars for a 400 dollar phone. I look at my bill and it was close to $200 dollars. I call customer service and they tell me that the plan he gave me was a FAMILY PLAN for up to 4 phones. Mind you I am the only phone/person on the account. So I make them change my plan and they give me a single phone plan with 2g of data. I didn't bitch I just paid the bill and went on with it. The next month I get my bill and it was close to $500 freaking dollars. They told me I went over my data by multiple gb... i have wifi at my house and my store so i didnt really understand how that was possible.. They didn't even offer to try and help me figure out what was going on they just basically said screw you pay me!! I refused to pay the bill so they cut my phone off and I have been fighting with them over this since. They have turned the bill over on my credit and everything. I even have had to get a lawyer and pay him another 1000 dollars to help me with this. All because the guy wanted to make more in commission and give me a family plan I'm having to go thru all of this. So please pay attention and don't trust them to do what they say!!! read more

I would say the worst customer service I have ever had. Seriously, the absolute WORST. They stopped sending a paper bill to me (randomly), so the check was late getting out, they never sent a termination notice, they never sent a termination text message and yet disconnected my phone. I walked in to the store 4 times to get my bill back to a regular paper bill, they assured me it would be mailed out, but it never came. I tried to cancel an additional line and they cancelled the wrong # (TWICE). I could go on and on about the problems I have encountered. Thank Heavens I switched to another carrier. On top of all that, they are rude at this store. They made the mistakes, and not only did they not apologize, they never took responsibility for cancelling the wrong line TWICE!! Do not go to this store expecting to be treated like a paying customer. And the manager's breath smelled like a diaper filled with 10 day old cafeteria meat loaf. read more
