And the plan hubby put us on saves us 50% off the rate we were paying our previous service provider, and Metronet gives us fiber internet. I am not sure what that means but our son says it is much better than other forms of delivery of internet. Anyway, big shout out to Metronet for such a great iob done so effortlessly. Our technician was the BEST and he so polite and professional. Our service was installed the same day we called and so quickly I couldn't believe it. There was no money up front and we got a very affordable plan. From start to finish sales customer service who took our order and patiently explained and answered my many questions to the wonderful tech who installed-- A+ all the way.

Everytime they sent someone, they claimed they needed a bigger truck. When the weather ended up freezing something I was without service for five days. They sent two techs and both could not repair. Again stating they needed a bigger truck. You can't get a truck back to that pole! Cancelled service and somehow Spectrum had the great idea to get to the pole, WITH A LADDER. I guess Metronet techs were unable to figure that out.

The internet for a 2 year, no contract agreement is $32 plus tax and $75 modem fee. The funny part was, when I placed an order with one rep two weeks ago. The actual guy was suppose to be coming today. I called them back up and they said I never had an order with them. So the guy is probably going to come today and I will just have to tell him that I did not place an order? Sounds insane. When I called back, the rep on the other end actually sounded kind of indifferent as to wanting me as a customer. He was just like "All right, just tell them that you do not want it". -_- You have two businesses: Time Warner Cable that tries to be reasonable with prices; even though, they are still pricey, no matter what way you look at them. After the phone call, I had to make another trip to the store to return the equipment. The guy I spoke to this time gave me NO trouble. I told him the situation and the lady I'd spoken to the prior day was at the desk right next to him. He didn't seem to care at all and just told me it's taken care of. The neighborhood has an ongoing FB chat about the issue, so there are approx 100+ homes affected. Everyone is getting a different answer when they call. Friday we were told would be fixed by 3am (12 hours), Saturday afternoon we were told 24 hours, now it is Sunday about 51 hours later and no one at At&t will give e answer. Friday evening there were about 4 At&t trucks at entrance and a neighbor spoke to them and they stated they were the "mainline" crew and that the issue was somewhere in the subdivision and that was a different teams responsibility. No one has seen any At&t trucks since. Appears to me that it was on a Friday and they have no intention of fixing it until Monday....God forbid they work on a weekend or attempt a mediocre level of responsible customer service.
