The gentleman at the counter gave me a price quote and assured me it would only take about an hour, so I told him I'd be back the next day. ​I returned as planned and handed the phone over. Thankfully, it turned out to just be a screen issue after all! The repair itself was done incredibly quickly and efficiently. He even let me know to come back if I ran into any issues with his work, but everything has been perfect so far and I highly doubt I'll have any problems. ​The quality of work and the speed make it worth it, but the prices were definitely a bit higher than I initially expected. I ultimately decided on 4 stars because they charge an extra fee if you pay with a credit card, on top of the regular tax. Depending on what you're getting fixed, that credit card fee plus tax can easily add an extra $20+ onto your quoted price. I know a lot of restaurants are starting to do this nowadays, but I wasn't expecting it at a repair shop and wish I had known in advance so I could decide if I wanted to use a different payment method to avoid the surcharge. Fortunately I was able to do so. ​Overall, they do fantastic, fast work, and the customer service is great! Just be sure to bring cash or an alternative payment method if you want to save a few bucks on the fees!

They have not done one thing that they say they are going to do with the exception of a return phone call today. They've told me many times: in fact about 10 times, my data would be ready to be picked up tomorrow or the next day. They also say they'll call with updates. Friday they told me it will be ready Monday, and so I took time off work Tuesday to pick up toward the end of the day. Now they are telling me 3 more days! WHAT?? I have no idea how they got this many 5 star reviews. They have done nothing trustworthy so far in this 30 day experience. At least be honest with people. I know enough about computers and data transfer to know bullsh*t when I hear it. 1 star. Beware.

I was calling around places in the city asking if they had cases for my specific phone, and a few places actually said they did, but when I arrived, they didn't have it. SMH! But then I called this place, after randomly searching for it on google and they told me to come down because they had cases. I got down there and they had literally 10-15 DIFFERENT types of cases for my phone, and the one I bought cost me $10 (not the $35 t-mobile was asking). When I left the store all I could think about was coming on Yelp and writing a review for how awesome this place is. It's a wholesale place so they have a HUGE selection of stuff, and the stuff is super cheap so if you need any accessories for your cellphone, this would be a good place to start. Not only was I effectively called stupid to my face several times (in tone and words) for coming in foolishly saying the wrong things that I was clearly not entitled to. I was also repeatedly warned to be careful since the other store and staff were inept, giving incorrect info and I, apparently not smart enough to catch it. Not only had the other store been professional and thorough, they'd taken the time to print off exactly what I needed so I could go to any TMobile shop to sign up as a new customer when I had the time. Who knew joining T Mobile could be so painful and frankly, not worth it after 4 visits to various Manhattan locations. This shop though, takes the cake in poor customer service. Verizon it is!
