I purchased a new Apple Watch and needed it activated. So I went into the local ATT store. Someone at Best Buy screwed up and associated it to someone else's ph#. Needless to say it was an ordeal getting it fixed. However BRADI at the store was freaking awesome. She stuck with me while the backend of ATT struggled and eventually figured out how to fix my issue. She was great through and through. If you're in the market for a new phone, watch, DirecTV whatever. Go to the store and make your purchase. The people there are very patient and professional. One of the worst recent experiences for me. I went to get a new sim card activated for my phone. A blonde woman with her hair covering her name tag took my information, asked for my ID, looked up my phone number, and said she could give me a sim card, but not activate it. Why not my ATT phone broke, and I wanted to use my wife's old ATT phone. The sim cards are different sizes. I had this done before at store in my neighborhood that is now closed. No here's a sim card call 611. I was about ready to drop ATT after this but luckily the 611 Customer Care rep took care of me and answered my questions. I am proud that At&t is one of the companies to stay open and service your needs from your car. It's obvious we can't do it ourselves. I waited on the phone for hours, we pulled in to Plano location hoping they could help. It's the heat of day, many needs to take care of. We noticed a couple happened to be yelling at the employees, we could hear from our car. This is a hard time for everybody but this staff all handled themselves well, these guys are awesome. I'll tell you what, I'm a nurse and I feel that people will not realize what impact and how helpful you are until this is a thing in the past. They will see how brave you have to be to do this job. I have been to this store on 3 different occasions now and each time I was promptly helped by an energetic, competent, intelligent, articulate, friendly, empathetic salesperson. What else would you want from your customer service representative? Another great thing about this store is that they have a small army of people working and they have tablets in hand so you can run all over the store with them and information necessary to make a decision is always at your / their fingertips. I love AT&T coverage in Dallas. It is awesome. Going in the stores isn't always great and I think their website is not the greatest, but not dropping phones calls and have quick reliable data washed over most other issues for me, so I am a fan of AT&T. read more

Very nice location, front door person open door for you and greet/guide you to your needs. I haven't been here but upon inquiry they had recently remodel and it's more apple store style. My issues were promptly taken cared of in a speedy fashion. I walked in and waited 5 minutes while three different representatives ignored me and helped new entrants to the store. When I did find somebody to assist me she was rude and acted like she was too busy to care. Then I asked if they could solve my problem and she said 'this is not a service center.' I did not know where I was supposed to go but she could have simply said no instead of assuming that I knew where to go and with a rude tone at that. Next she tried to explain to me where the service center was without telling me the phone number, address, or even website once again assuming I knew everything. AWFUL customer service and I would rate 1/2 star if possible. read more

He proceeded to tell me that there was no payment plan and that I had to purchase the phone outright. This guy was a total idiot and I don't know what he was trying to gain from doing this. I walked into the store ready to buy a phone and walked out ready to change carriers. I went in yesterday and it was busy so I made an appointment for 5:30pm this evening. As I arrived today, a man with a tablet held the door for a couple of ladies leaving. He said nothing to me as I approached. Actually he just kinda ignored me. When I got his attention, I told him I had an appointment and wanted to get a new phone. He took me to the iPhones and I told him I didn't want an iPhone. I asked if they had the Pixel 2 and he didn't seem to know that was a phone. He hadn't really heard of it, which was weird. So I quickly looked it up on my phone and found out it has Verizon exclusivity, but you can buy it from Google unlocked. I came to get a phone though so I asked him about other options. Apparently asking about phones is too much to ask of a man whose job it is to sell you a phone. To be honest, I thought this was a point person and he was just keeping me company until an associate was ready. So I started looking at phones and he just kinda stood to the side and didn't say anything. When I asked him if he was getting a person to help me, he said he could help me. Except he clearly could not. He couldn't tell me a single thing about ANY phone. And it's not like I was asking tough technical questions. I asked him about the camera on the Galaxy S8 line and his answer was "It's good." I'm sorry, but that says nothing. Is there a phone in this store you'd say has a BAD camera? Several questions like this left me with a lot to be desired. As my patience wore thin, I asked him to just tell me anything about the phone that I would want and he couldn't even give me an answer! That is NOT okay! I told him I might as well just go to Verizon and get the phone I want because he hasn't sold me on anything. He then pulled up the technical specs on his tablet. Okay thanks, but I also have Google because it's 2017. I actually looked up more on my phone than he was capable of telling me. Eventually I just flat out told him that he hasn't sold me on anything and he doesn't seem to know anything either. This store has a SERIOUS training problem if your employees can't answer basic phone questions or even know that they should have basic knowledge of what phones can do. This interaction left a really bad impression and to be honest, I'm going to a Verizon store in the morning to see my options for switching carriers because buying a Pixel from Google and then having to deal with another AT&T employee to get my service switched to the new phone is something I just don't think i want to do. read more

Beware "free" tablet offer. I called yesterday to increase my data and at the end they said my account qualified for a "free" tablet. I said "free, sure". Received an email a few hours later saying there was a $45 activation fee and a $10 processing few. I looked up the "off" brand tablet and its worth about $60. So much for "free"! These are cell-phone enabled devices which are meant, I think, to Chew up your data plan. Not only that, the email said they would ship as soon as I accept the terms and conditions, which I did NOT do. Yet they arrived by FedEx today! Now I have to return them to an ATT store. What a bait and switch! Told over the phone I could return to ATT store. Get there and told OK but theres a restocking fee! Theres a return mailing label in the bottom of the box for USPS, cretin in store told me UPS. read more

I have been to the location just outside of Collin Creek mall (near Fridays) and inside of the mall. Both experiences were extremely negative. When I went to the one near the mall, I spoke with a sales man named Fadi. He was constantly up selling, not listening to our needs what so ever and was completely rude when he was unable to convince us towards unnecessary products and services. At one point he even physically blocked my husband out of the conversation with his body! It was a pretty terrible and an uncomfortable situation. When I went into Collin Creek Mall, the woman was too busy texting and seemed bothered. As I asked questions about the plan, she continued to text and not make eye contact. When I started to leave, that is when she decided to see if I was looking to start that day....Uh no thanks... read more

Unfortunately, today was the second time I've dealt with the salesman Jesse in this AT&T location. Again today, he was pushy, smug and disrespectful, just as I remembered him. I came in today to trade in my current phone for the newer model and renew my contract. Jesse hastily scrawled a T-chart on computer paper to contrast my two options, jotting down figures and demonstrating calculations while talking a mile a minute. I asked him to slow down so that I could understand where all these numbers were coming from and what they signified, and he interrupted me repeatedly with promises that he would get to it if I would let him finish. Even after he had finished scribbling, the interaction continued in the same vein: glib-talking Jesse, and me learning nothing and losing trust. The whole game was tragically transparent. They draw up some calculations on a blank sheet of paper and "explain" your options at an undigestible pace. Of course we're expected to jump at the gleaming alternative, after their hasty arithmetic "proves" it is by far the cheaper route, but still Jesse balked when I asked, "what's the catch?" Why wasn't any of this information presented in writing, in some kind of typed, official format, rather than hand-drawn in 60 seconds? Why did Jesse so adamantly refuse to explain his figures as he wrote them down? Why did Jesse consistently interrupt me and use an admonishing tone of voice when I tried to ask questions? Don't fall for this; take your business elsewhere. read more

Customer service is terrible. I am just so happy that I ordered my iPhone 5 via AT&T's call center rather than dealing with these lousy people. My iPhone came in the mail and I immediately went to this store to just get a case. That's it. Upon browsing for the particular case I want, it seems that the specific color I need for the brand wasn't there. I stood like an idiot smack in the middle of the store searching for an available employee who can assist me. I'm not exaggerating, but I swear my eyes caught up to 4 employees just standing around in the corner chilling, texting and chatting. I know they know they see me see them - if that makes any sense. Unfortunately, I didn't catch their name, but I was last here late afternoon on Tuesday (05/14). There was a guy there, about 6ft tall, a bit buffed with dark blond hair. I know he saw me and I tried to give out the nonverbal signal that I needed help. He nodded at me and resumed to text on his phone, and started to just hang out by the wall. Am I a non-existent invaluable customer? I guess they didn't take into account that I can write a bad review on one of the most trusted review sites - not that they'd actually care, obviously. They didn't even seem like they wanted to help me. They were rude even when I did talk to them. Anyway, regarding the case I wanted, I took the initiative to approach the people not doing their job and they just said whatever's out is out. Whatever. Excellent service. I had to go in twice today, once to get a new sim in my new android phone, and then an hour later when my attempts to transfer stuff from my old phto the new one were unsuccessful. Both times, Brandon, Steven and Jason were more helpful and personable than I ever expected. The phone was set up, and synced successfully, with the most pleasing customer service. They answered questions without being condescending, and went out of their way to make sure I was set up before walking me to the door in an old world courteous gesture so often overlooked in today's busy world. I highly recommend this store for any AT$T customers. read more

If it was possible to eliminate the stars, I would have done it! If you want service at the this AT&T store, do not waste your time... they do not know the concept! The employees are a bunch of minimum wage workers, who probably have never heard of customer service, and if they have, have never been trained.... but AT&T needs to pay attention, competition is stiff out there, and customer service is the only thing that can keep the customer loyal .... read more
