This is the BEST AT & T location that I have ever been to. I've been to locations in CA, TX & in NC, they always provided terrible service. While vacationing at the southern NJ shore, I decided that I needed a new phone. Charlie & Shawn were awesome to work with. They were courteous and very knowledgeable. They found me such great deals and ended up saving me lots of money for my monthly bill. If you need a new phone & you are near Cape May or Wildwood, NJ, I highly recommend this store. read more

Great customer service from Angel and two young men (unfortunately do not remember their names) who work at this Rio Grande store. We had purchased an ATT plan (switching from another carrier) with new iPhones at BJs and just received the new phones in the mail. Our sales person gave us instructions for sending our old phones for the trade in and activating our new phones ourselves and also told us that we could just go to any ATT store and they would handle it for us. We chose the second option and stopped in at this store to do the return. This process took more than an hour but the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. They took care of everything for us and never complained about having to do so even though we had not made the purchase there. As a result of their great service, we will be returning to explore whether it makes sense for us to switch our internet and cable to ATT. read more

Service was ok but the biggest issue was I bought a new phone and when I asked if it came with a box and charging cable I was told that Apple is going green - no more boxes or charging cable. I was at an Apple Store and another AT&T store two days later and found out that you still get a box and charging cable. Beware of people trying to rip you off! I went back to the original store a week later after discovering they lied and I got my original box and they gave me a charging cable! read more

Never answers the phone. I mean like never. How the hell do you have a business that never answers the PHONE!!

Last month I was praising AT&T for having great customer service. I take it all back! I purchased a new phone about 2 months ago bc my 5s was old and just not working properly anymore, I was trying to hold off on upgrading until they came out with a similar size iPhone (I hate big phones). My only option was to buy the SE which was fine. The day I bought my phone the salesman at AT&T, said that it was approximately $14 a month for the phone for 24 months. We also switched plans that day because we were on a 15gb a month plan and they had unlimited data plans for less than we were paying. So to our surprise the salesman said my bill would be approximately $140 a month with the monthly payment plan on the new phone. Wow! I thought I'm saving about $20 dollars a month. Eric asked "Is this including my employee discount?" The AT&T sales rep in Rio Grande, NJ said "yes." So the next months bill comes it's $300! Now I was prepared for the bill to be a little more for the first month in the new plan, because of prorated charges, activation fee, etc. But double??? So I called and spoke to a nice service rep, she explained everything down to every little detail so that I understood where all the charges were coming from. She also explained that the salesman should have told me to wait 5 more days until my billing cycle was over so that I wouldn't have the prorated charges, she also said that at the time I purchased my phone, the SE was having a sale for $5 a month. So she changed my monthly payment to $5 instead of the $14. She was super nice that I didn't even mind paying the $300 because she took her time to breakdown everything. Fast forward to yesterday...I look at my bill and it's $235. Why the hell is it still high??? So Eric calls, they tell him that there is no way we could have been sold an unlimited data plan for $140 for 3 lines. Eric gets a 24% discount for being an employee of the hospital. It does show on the bill every month 24% gets deducted from each line. On our bill it says they only deducted $10! If I do my math right it should be approximately $50. Anyways, they tell my husband they have to take away the hotspot but that we can still have the unlimited, on the second best unlimited plan for $165. The rep says she will fix the employee discount. I look at the bill after sometime to see if it's fixed and it is not. I call, I spoke to Carlos, he proceeds to tell me this - the employee discount does not apply to unlimited plans (Than why is it showing on my bill but for an incorrect amount) -there is no way we could have been sold the unlimited plan for 3 lines for $140 -my phone payment of $5 a month can not be applied bc in order to get that promotional discount I would have to open a new line. -lastly, to have the unlimited plan for 3 lines, the monthly cost is now $205, and $180 for the second best, even though the women Eric called on before we called back and got Carlos, already switched my plan for $165?! (they no longer have the plan I was originally sold) How the hell am I hearing something different from the sales rep and 2 different customer service reps??? AT&T you better get your crap together. Either they are not training their employees correctly on the products or they have a bunch of shady ass people working for them that tell customers what they want to hear. I would have never agreed to the unlimited plan for $205 if that was the actual price when we decided to make the switch. I was paying about $160, before we switched plans, that's why we decide to go unlimited because we were told the bill would be $140. We recorded the whole conversation. So today we are calling them back, I want to see if a new rep will have something different to say, and yes from now on I will be recording every conversation when I go into AT&T and when I am speaking to them on the phone. I'm tired of being lied to and I hate my time and money being wasted. read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. My husband and I went to this AT&T store to purchase a new phone. When we were walking in, an employee was walking out. We were not approached by anyone, so we checked out the new phone we were going to purchase. The employee who left had walked back in with food and went to the back. The store closes at 6 and we were there at 5:15. Not sure why she couldn't help us, I guess she needed to eat before the store closed. The other two employees were with other customers, but they never looked our direction or acknowledged we were there. We waited 10-15 minutes before leaving. This was the worst customer service. We left the store and they didn't seemed to mind at all. read more

After spending nearly 2 hours on the phone with AT&T customer service trying to upgrade a phone- I gave up. I called the Rio Grande, NJ location and was lucky enough to work with Quintin. Excellent customer service, sales and communication skills. He helped me while I was traveling out of state to process an upgrade and set up a new iPhone 11 for my brother with learning disabilities (who was in the store). He never once lost his patience despite it requiring a lot of explaining and being near closing time. I cannot thank him enough and AT&T should VALUE and praise employees like himself. read more

Absolutely unhelpful and flat out rude. I was shipped the wrong phone by ATT, completely ATT error and they wanted to charge me $45 in restocking. No customer service or support at all. Not that any of the ATT stores are any different, but no use going into this one. read more

Needed help with new phone. Almost felt like I inconvenienced the worker. They could not help or dare I say would not help. Got into my car and with a press of one number on the keypad I was able to set up my voicemail. I am not certain the worker paid attention to my concern. He immediately called help number to retrieve my voicemail password. The entire time I kept telling him I never set up voicemail which was the nature of my visit. The manager Eric is accommodating but sadly many staff seem angered with the influx of summer tourists to the area . read more

The customer service here is the worst. It is usually frustrating to try and get help from the people here. The latest sales women I talked to was very rude and condescending. She had no helpful information on my situation and seemed annoyed to talking with me at all. Its definitely worth driving up to the mall to avoid this store. read more

I listed my iPhone 6 on swip swap the man that wanted to buy it wanted to meet at AT&T to make sure there were no problems with it Pamela at the store was ok she set it up for him and told him it was ready to go well Abner butted in and said he didn't want to step on anyone's toes but he could sell the guy a new iPhone 6 for 250.00 twice the gb well he did step on my toes! I had just a few weeks prior bought the iPhone 7 he never mentioned I could have got the 8 I spent 750.00 for the phone I know they are there to sell and I didn't want to meet the guy there I felt that was kind of weird, but how rude was that that he butted in on Pamela and killed the sale of my phone. I was already not happy with him for not telling me I could of bought the iPhone 8 right after I got my phone I saw a commercial for the iPhone 8. read more

I had a great experience there. An employee named Jessica understood my situation and had me in and out of there in about 2o mins. She was very professional. I signed up for a new 2 year contract. I had no problems at all. read more
