All of this happened during the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020. I cracked my Iphone screen to the point that I feared getting glass splinters in my fingers. I called ERS on a Monday and received an appointment for 10:00 am the next day. When I arrived at my appointment, there was an insulated pouch with my name, phone number and alternate phone number and instructions, hanging partially out of their mail slot on their door. I put my phone in the pouch and pushed it through the mail slot. There was a bench in front of the store and because it was a nice day, I sat there and read a book while I waited. Less than an hour later, they knocked on the door, pushed my phone through the mail slot and told me to pay using the email confirmation I had received the day before. I couldn't see my phone because it was too sunny and there was no shade. I knocked on the door and told them I had to go to my car to be able to see to pay online. They nodded yes. I got to my car, made the payment and drove off. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received and I am extremely impressed with the use of technology in setting up my appointment and the payment method. I am equally impressed with they way they employed the, "No Contact" method. Kudos for the ingenuity, ERS. One day my camera on my laptop just stopped working. I subscribe to a remote computer repair service. The service attempted to repair the camera 2 days in a row investing over 5 hours in troubleshooting. They did not repair the camera but suggested it was a hardware issue. I took the laptop to the Geek Squad since I also have a total repair service contract. The tech at Geek Squad in Mays Landing took a quick look at my computer and told me it needed to be sent out for repair taking 2-4 weeks! That timeframe was unacceptable so I researched local repair shops. I dropped my laptop off and a few days later received a call from the diagnostics: the side button on my laptop which turns the camera on/off was turned off!!! How did neither the remote repair service or the Geek Squad fail to go through a basic troubleshooting protocol and ask me if the camera was turned on? Emergency Repair did not charge me. I will use them in the future and highly recommend their knowledge and customer service. read more

I dropped my laptop a few days before the semester started and quickly called the Emergency Repair Shop because I am taking 3 online classes and needed it fixed urgently. The owner quickly ordered the needed parts and had them two day shipped in order to finish the project before my first assignments came due. My laptop was fixed within three days!!! The owner even made it possible for me to pick up my laptop after hours when it was more convenient for me. They are affordable and much faster than other repair shops in the area.
