Henry was awesome and totally helped us out with upgrading an old phone and adding a new phone to our account. The sale went well until Henry's manager came over to "review he did everything right." Although I didn't catch her name and she didn't have a name tag on, she was pushy and borderline rude. We explained multiple times that Henry had covered everything that she was trying to up sale us on and her response was, " I'm going to quote you regardless." The sales pitch kept going despite us explaining we didn't want to make any changes. We were glad to leave, and I'm glad my wife was there to respond to the manager because she was way nicer than I would have been. read more

What a clown show! I have an ATT phone that can't call other att phones!!! Went in to see if these guys can help. Shouldn't have wasted my time. The guy that waited on us was a real jerk, he worked on my fphone for about 10 minutes, finally handed it back to me and told me I'd have to contact customer service tech support. I went into this store to simply transfer my Verizon phones number to AT&T. Two and a half hours later I left the store with my number transferred. I literally spoke with 2 store associates and 7 support associates on the phone. No one could figure out how to port my number. Finally I asked the store manager if he could help. He told me something in simple terms what I needed to do which was effectively starting the process over. But the process the first associate started me with was completely wrong. This was by far the worst customer experience I have ever been a part of! I should go back to Verizon but I don't want to go through this crap again! And get this the manager ended up fixing the problem in 30 minutes. I didn't know he was thE manager when I asked him for help because everybody was ignoring me. After he solved the problem I asked him why he didn't try to help me earlier? He said"I'm the store manager I don't get involved in customer interactions!!" Really? I said and left! I went in to cancel my service and they told me to call into customer service. They did not ask why or if they could help. They don't care. Here is the rest of my experience with AT&T today.... I switched my service from AT&T to Straight Talk yesterday. Several friends have done the same with good results. I had been with AT&T for 16 years. Today when I went to cancel my service I went to the AT&T store and I was promptly told to call in. Seriously, the store can't even help? So I called in. I was on the phone for 34 minutes, most of which was on hold. The agent asked if there was anything they could do to keep my business. I told them that they could give me unlimited text, data, and minutes on 2 lines for less than $100 and I would stay. She told me that they could not do that and then said that she was not sure how ST could offer rates so low. (ST uses AT&T towers) Brilliant. I then said to go ahead and cancel my plan and prorate the month. They "can't" prorate either. Really? You have a customer of 16 years and you can't prorate their last month? Do you ever want me to come back? I am sorry sir, they won't let us do anything like that. She then goes on to tell me that she actually gets her pay docked if she has bad surveys. Come on AT&T. You are going to dock this lady's pay if she gets bad surveys but you won't give her any power to help the customer? Not only am I not an AT&T customer anymore, I anticipate that I never will be again. I would go to Verison, Sprint, etc first. Ultimately, as long as the prepaid guys are offering half price service I won't be going back to any of them. read more

I went in for a new phone, the door was opened for me by staff, and I was immediately greeted and signed in. I was assisted almost immediately by Alfredo, and he made the process go very smoothly. Many times I have managed to end up at AT&T stores at their busiest and it has taken hours to complete my purchase. Today I was in and out in maybe an hour, and my base rate was dropped substantially with their suggested changes to my account and a great deal on an extra iPhone. read more

Im writing this 30 minutes after arriving and not one employee has acknowledged me. Not bothered to ask what others need. I understand they are already working with someone but not even acknowledge other customers is beyond stupid. Probably picked a day they didn't think they'd have many customers. In 2009 AT&T cancelled my unlimited plan and said it was no longer available. Since the conversations they removed some information but my postman still has this plan along with many other people. They simply lied to most Americans in 2009 and removed them from a plan they were dis satisfied with and couldn't bill for extra mb's. I have talked to the president and all remain liars to this day. read more
