I waited for over an hour before an AT&T employee was able to get to me and help me upgrade my phone only to find out that the model I wanted wasn't in stock. I made it crystal clear to the first employee that greeted me at the store what model I wanted and they didn't inform me that model was out of stock. My mother-in-law boyfriend John recently had purchased a new phone. He had gone over to the At&t store in Hanford but no help was given there. They also went to several other phone stores. Pretty much they were given the run around. All they needed done was to transfer the sim card over to their new phone. Well when they walked into the AT&T on Mooney Jorge was the guy that helped them. Jorge provided excellent customer service, was very professional and was able to help them right away. On October 21st 2016, my fiancée and I went into the corporate AT&T store (Store number S267) to see if there were any good promotions. My fiancée and I have been thinking about merging cellular accounts for a while now, but we were just waiting for the right time and promotion, of course. Juan Gomez was the sales representative that helped us that day. He presented us with the promotion of receiving a $650 credit towards any smartphone if you port-in from a different carrier. We thought to ourselves, what a great deal! All that was needed was the port-in from a different carrier and a choice of a smartphone, which we had! At that time, the iPhone 7 was just released. Mr. Gomez insisted that if we were to get the iPhone 7 32gb, it would be "free" because the retail price is at $649. We both decided that we will go ahead and take advantage of that promotion. We ended up choosing the iPhone 7 256gb because we were going to get that $650 credit towards the phone with the promotion. Mr. Gomez mentioned that if we didn't see the $650 credit as a whole after 2-3 billing cycles, we will see $20 increments on the new line with the description "discount for access" until our $650 was fulfilled. There was no reason for me to question that because I have always received great service from this company. The fact that Mr. Gomez went through billing detail also made me confident that I shouldn't experience any difficulties. I even decided to upgrade my phone that day and purchased a couple new accessories. Recently, I called AT&T Customer Care to change my phone plan because I originally grandfathered unlimited data and decided that it was time to merge into the shared data plan (since there are no overage fees now). This is when I asked about the promotion that I was enrolled in October and learned that I was lied to and maliciously misled. I was so upset that I went back to the corporate store, with my fiancée, to speak with the store manager, Daniel. The service I received from the store manager was extremely disappointing. Daniel didn't care to listen to what I had to say because I had to repeat myself so many times about what happened that day with Mr. Gomez. He was rude, arrogant, and didn't show empathy because I had repeat myself so many times! I strongly feel that this has happened more than once and so he was very annoyed that he had to hear it again. He eventually asked me if he should go talk to Mr. Gomez about the events that took place since he was present. In my opinion, that's very unprofessional to put an employee on the spot in front of the customer. It shows agressive behavior and promotes emotional violence! The talk with Daniel led nowhere. He said that it was a simple misunderstanding and continued to explain the right promotion and that's what we should have been told in the first place. That doesn't change the fact that we were lied to in October and that we cannot undo what was already done. Daniel did not care to offer any other assistance as he had that "sorry, but there's nothing I can do" behavior. He even told us to call Customer Care to see if they could do anything for me since it was a misunderstanding and a training issue. read more

I got charged $36 dollars to change my number that is ridiculous! Verizon only charges $10. No loyal customer discount that's not cool.

I was told I'd have a 20 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon as I tried to upgrade my family's phones. I waited more than 30 minutes and during that time I watched employees linger around the store and then disappear to the back. During all this time, myself and several other sat waiting for help. I finally walked out and taking my business to another store or to T Mobile. Do not waste your time at this store. read more

Worst customer service I've ever received. Blonde woman "helped" us and developed a horrendous attitude when asked basic questions. When asked questions about our phone she responded with vague answers. She obviously didn't know what she was talking about. I will be canceling my remaining services and switching to Verizon since they were happy to help and actually answered the questions thoroughly. This store, including its "Management" and Sales Reps, has APPALLING customer service. I went to upgrade my phone and was instead told my phone had scuff marks on the sides and could not be traded. Even though this was ridiculous, this wasn't the bad part. When I asked for a manager the employee went to the back and did not return for 10 minutes and when the manager, Adriana, came she was defensive the whole time. She said, "You should have read the contract you signed" in response to every one of my statements. I told her I came in a week prior with a cracked screen and the Rep told me to get my screen fixed and I could trade up. She said it's not their policy and we should have read the contract instead of listening to the rep. This whole time she seemed indifferent (didn't care) and dismissive. So because she had a bad attitude I said I wanted to file a formal complaint to the regional manager. At that time, she said, "It's time for you to leave the store". I did not leave because I wanted to file a complaint and she said, "I'll escort you out". She and the sales rep, Kate, became aggressive and walked towards me in an effort to escort me out. So I left, without yelling, and am now filing formal complaints to regional, general, and corporate managers. I cancelled my service, switched to Sprint, and am happy. BASICALLY, THEY ARE AWFUL. I am filing a complaint with corporate and encourage everyone else to to the same! read more

Wow Megan was really rude. We came in to upgrade and she asked for my moms ID my mom showed her and started to put it back in her purse. She then proceeded to snap at my mother "I need your ID OUT." No one else came to help us, we looked for about 45 minutes and checked out the 6+ which had a password on it, I asked if it could be unlocked but they dont have a store password on their phones so someone was able to lock it. They told me this then the three of them continued to talk. With no help and left. read more

I dont like to give bad reviews but I feel I have to this time. Went in to buy a phone charging cable for my galaxy s9. The rep was courteous and sold me the cable and I was on my way. I exited the door walked 10 feet away and noticed the cable had the wrong plugs. When I went back in the rep was helping someone else. I explained what just happened. But the new rep told me I had to wait to exchange the cable even though I had just purchased the cable. The new rep felt bad and said he would help me exchange real quick but the manager stopped the exchange and said I would have to wait. I waited for 30 minutes!!!! I explained to the manager what just happened but she didn't even step in to help, even after she stopped her rep from helping me. I will not come back. I have a family of 5. And we are about to get our upgrades and it will not be with this store or at&t. I only waited because I really needed the cable. But this experience just cost this store more than just a cable. Will take business elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service.. Went in to check on my upgrade eligibility and all I got was a rude employee.. Without naming names this girl was snarky and when she would ask me a question she would cut me off mid sentence with another question. Every time I have been to this store they have been very helpful. Today topped them all. Somehow my IPhone locked up. I could not get in. I only have a IPhone no other devices all my info is in this phone. Yes I am going to fix that. Zek helped me. He got me back into my phone with a idea I never would of guessed. Going in for an upgrade is like walking into a car lot and getting pressured by sales people to purchase more then you want. What the heck! Never came in for an alarm system or direct TV and seems like all they could talk about was selling and how if we ordered from them it really wouldn't cost us as it would be a wash if we got the bundle deal! RIGHT!! Nothing but pressure sales tactics! is this what AT&T has resorted into becoming. I needed my phone and upgraded, but felt pressured. Went in yesterday and spoke to a guy with glasses and was told that with a new line I could get a Samsung S J7 would be free. Went it today because I wanted to think about it and make sure it was what I wanted and I was helped by Julie. This review is mostly for her and because of her I will never be back in the store. She was rude right off the back and tried to sell me a direct TV plan when we were clearly there for a phone. She also tried to talk down our current service and even upsell other phones, my husband is techy so it didn't sit well with him. I asked her about the promotion from the guy before and she said he was not correct. I wanted to just pay for the phone up front and not do the next plan and she said I couldn't even with manager approval. I don't understand why a business wouldn't want their money upfront. It's all about collected revenue! Anyways....went to Best Buy. I got a better phone for an amazing price and everyone here knows what customer service is. Worst service I've ever had! I've never been treated so terrible by AT&T , I have always had great service , till yesterday. I live out in the country so it's easier for me to just call in my order for new phone and then take in to town and service them. After only 6 days of having new phone my touch screen had trouble, I was made to feel because I had order on the phone they could not help me and had I not bought a apple phone they probably could have. After being so upset they said go home get the box it came in , they needed serial # they would trade it in, when I came back they said they wouldn't. After telling management you said you would! And becoming very upset I did go home with a new phone, now mind you I'm making this shorter for my sake, I'm not into texting. But I will never forget how wishie washie and rude this store was and hopefully never have to helped by Chris , or the young lady manager again! read more

Awful and stupid! Went to get my phone unlocked, due to things I explained. The man at the door, said can't do it, won't work. Even the FBI can't get through. Dumb dude! Then said call Apple. Dur, if I could call I wouldn't need help with my phone. What he doesn't know is I work trials where FBI and investigators get through phones all the time w/out password so first of all he just sounded stupid using the FBI logo! So I left, came home and watched a 16 year old on U Tube help me and it works now. DON"T GO THERE! They are not educated and don't know their business. AT&T website says ORDER ONLINE - PICK UP IN TWO HOURS. Five hours later, I call the store it should be ready at - the one on Mooney in Visalia. The person who answered the phone (female) would say nothing except "when it is ready you will get an email." I said "It's been five hours can you check?" Nope. You will get an email. BUT THE WEBSITE SAID TWO HOURS. Silence. Wait for email. No email. Going out of town tomorrow morning; phone died overnight last night; need a new phone today. Two hours seemed reasonable but now the store will be closing in two hours (which will be 7.5 hours since I ordered it). Do not know what to do at this point.... UGH. read more

Well I came to this AT&t store after reading all these bad reviews how can a busy store supply have a bad reputation, fingers crossed and here we go. Come in Megan helped us at the door greeted up with a big smile and that really shows confidence in your job. So we get added to the wait list like every AT&T store they have rules to manage times for a fair service. Waited for about 8 min but we started watching tv lol. But the 2nd thing Megan asked what we needed help finding while we wait well. We got sent to all the cases are for the iPad Pro. Sweet while we wait we can look at the goods. That helps out with the decision making. But once my sister saw pink it was over she loves pink lol. Well we got lucky and got Meagan to help us. She did it fast no delays she looked for the items we needed and she brought them to us. Since I am using crutches and minimized the need for me to walk around. We went threw 3 cases and features and also keyboards and even the 20% off if u buy 3 accessories at the same time nice. We got a case for the iPad yes in pink lol and the glass protector plus I showed her my pelican case on my iPhone 6s Plus they have a 1 year warranty threw the store so it got swapped since it was losing its shape. No hassle at all and great service with a smile. I say go try this store don't just believe all the bad remarks and comments since I it was proven to be the opposite of those 1 star reviews. And to say this place is chaotic it's not. I live in the Bay Area now come here and expect a 8 min wait nope u will get a 10-20 min wait in the bay. So u guys are lucky to have a fast store and extremely knowledgeable personal like Megan. My sis will sure come back and ask for Meagan every time. Management and some employees where very rude. I just got my iPhone two days ago. And my battery is dropping fast. I had help from and employee named Megan and she had a lot of attitude and wasn't cooperative when we ask questions. And said that if I get a warranty I can return my iPhone if something happened. So I got it. And something important is wrong with (my battery) and she now says I can not return or exchange it, only Apple can do that. Which I can understand it but for her to tell me that I can exchange it than say no you can't is very deceiving . I payed for insurance for a reason. I have been with AT&T for along time and never had a problem like I have recently. I am not saying that all worker at this AT&T are all rude but some management and employees need to be checked. read more
