If I had to rate this store, I would give it a 0 out of 10. This was an awful experience. I went into AT&T to get a new phone and was met with pushy, slimy sales tactics instead of actual customer service. The staff focused entirely on upselling unnecessary add-ons, avoided giving clear answers, and rushed through the important details. It felt misleading and dishonest, like they cared more about screwing me over and money in their pockets than helping a customer make the right choices. I have been on the phone with AT&T for several hours trying to clean up the mess they made. Since it has been over 14 days everyone is saying they cannot help the situation. I went back up to this store to see what their explanation was behind all of this and all he said was "I don't know, I guess it was a mistake." I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Buying a phone should be simple, not something that feels manipulative. This experience completely destroyed my trust for AT&T. I would not recommend this AT&T store to anyone. If you value transparency and respect, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I am posting an update to my complaint. I have been contacted by the corporate office by the name of Vandon D. He worked with to recent issue with AT&T. Very much appreciated and gave some hope back in "humanity". He fixed the problem that I had with the AT&T store in St. Louis. This shows me that AT&T really does want our business. Jada was extremely helpful & updated my new iPhone in 5 minutes. I had earlier been at the Troy location and spent 45 minutes there & the tech could not transfer my info from my old phone to new phone. Save yourself the trouble and go to Wentzville store instead of Troy store. read more

This review about the ATT Wentzville store actually starts at the ATT O Fallon Store. Allow me to explain, I went to the ATT O Fallon store to switch my two line "post-pay" account to 2 individual pre-pay accounts. The potential savings to me, a retiree, was significant. Kyle made a sincere effort and asked his manager for help since he was having issues in that my phones were originally set-up in a difference market area. The manager provided a brief description of the steps needed and seemed to express a lack of interest. Kyle then informed me that it may be best for me to call the helpline. I went home and called it. CJ was was great, she tried to work through the issue, but ultimately told me after 50 minutes that it had to be taken care of at a "corporate" store. So, I went back to the O Fallon store the next day. Kyle was not in, but the manager was. I refreshed his memory of my visit the day before and explained to him why I was back. He expressed frustration with "corporate" and pulled in an associate. The manager explained the situation to the associate, who looked at me and said in a disgruntled tone, "I hope you have a lot of time." In turn I asked, "How much?" The response was 3 to 4 hours. I said, in that much time I could change to Mint or Boost. The response was, "Yes, you could." So, I responded, sounds like you don't want to do it, and I walked out. Behind me I heard the manager from the open door say, we can do it. I said never mind. Since I have been an ATT client for 25 years, I opted to give one last try and I went to the Wentzville Store, where I met Dominic. In 45 minutes, with the help of one call to corporate support, Dominic had the old post-pay account canceled and the 2 new pre-pay accounts established. Looks to me like either O Fallon does not know what they are doing or don't have a sincere interest in keeping customers. 5 STARS to Dominic at Wentzville and 0 STARS to the O Fallon Store. read more

Horrible service in Pittsfield. They messed up my plan and now I cannot get it back to where we were-the guys at the store have no idea what they are doing and would not go the extra step to fix their mistake. Horrible horrible. I entered into the Wentzville AT&T store located at 1955 Wentzville Parkway to upgrade to an iPhone 15. The "Retail Sales Consultant" Suriyo Vanmalaithong was very eager to assist. He represented that my current iPhone would have a trade-in value. He asked what model it was and we both simultaneously reviewed the setting at concluded it was an iPhone 8 Plus with the highest memory available for that mode. He also said the equipment was in perfect condition and then looked in to the system and states that the trade-in value of the phone would be $350.00., and to drop it off any time at the store before thirty (30) days expired. He didn't have the iPhone 15 color/make in stock, so her ordered the upgrade to be shipped to my residence. All went as represented until my wife and I attempted to drop of the wiped aforementioned iPhone 8. Another representative claimed his system was down, so Suriyo recognizing us came over to assist with the trade-in. After what appeared to be numerous stall tactics, going in the back to discuss with his manager - she came out and didn't even address us or the trade-in attempt. After over 30-45 minutes, Suriyo stated that he could not honor the previously represented amount of $350.00 credit towards the bill and could give approximately $35.00. I stated that I was worn down by his stall tactics and left. Please check the store video recording systems to validate not only the misrepresentation and attempt to trade-in the phone. Spent two hours at the AT&T store today working with Josh. He was patiently trying to work out the details of getting my service switched from a different carrier but it seemed like it wasn't going to happen. No fault of his own, just a tricky transaction. It seemed like nothing could be done so I went home. Later, he spoke with his manager, called me when ho got off work and actually drove 30 minutes out of his way to my house to put a new SIM card in my phone so I wouldn't be without service over the weekend. Runaround Simple story...phone quit working due to no fault of my own. I was assisted by a lady (I will not use her name) and was informed by her that there was nothing they could do to help. She informed me that I needed to go to the iPhone Store in West County (1 hour drive from Wentzville). I went to the iPhone store and was turned down for assistance due to no appointment. I was not informed by the lady that I had to call to schedule an appointment. I'm not the subject matter expert in this field and should have been informed by the lady that an appointment was needed. Nothing ever goes smoothly at this store...still no phone! Two negative reviews on this location and it's easy to see that the store manager does not care enough about these reviews to comment on them and make things right. read more

I have been to this Wentzville location several times. It is the best AT&T in the area. Everyone is knowledgeable and very helpful. I have been to a few other AT&T stores and all they do is push buying a new phone instead of helping you fix a problem. Wentzville MO store is not like that. They know the meaning of service and do not just try to get money out if you every time. read more

Took my dad to the store to finally get an upgrade from his iPhone 5! The rep was so great in helping him choose an upgrade and being so patient. Who sits with you for over 30 minutes because you haven't ever backed up your iPhone and ensures everything gets smoothly transferred, even going the extra step of setting up the face recognition and apps?? Dominic does that's who! And this is why we were so grateful to have gone to this store instead of buying somewhere else! read more

i would give zero stars if possible i went in to store to get a new phone. i got one but was never told that the phone was only available with a plan i did not have and from the customer service 800 number it was changed without asking and then was told the phone would cost more. a major bait and switch there saying the price of the phone is one price and then when i called it is a much higher price. read more

I will never go back to this place again. Switched out of my Samsung back to an Iphone. The rep LOST ALL MY CONTACTS!!! Didn't take 2 seconds out of his life to make sure my contacts transferred over. I lost everything. Called AT&T customer service. I was told "Sorry" They cost me money and time. I called back a second time and was told that a manager was to review the information and then call me back. I received no call back. The old phone had already been wiped. He was in such a hurry to go on break or move onto another customer. I got the worlds SH*TTIEST service. Not sure what they are training these kids to do. But provide a good customer service experience is not one of them! They don't mind taking an hour to try and sell you something you don't want. But can't take 2 seconds to make sure they are performing their duties correctly. We the customer expect a level of professional service and if you can't provide that service than we will find someone else that can. My trust and faith with AT&T is burnt.
