I went into AT&T to get a new phone and was met with pushy, slimy sales tactics instead of actual customer service. The staff focused entirely on upselling unnecessary add-ons, avoided giving clear answers, and rushed through the important details. It felt misleading and dishonest, like they cared more about screwing me over and money in their pockets than helping a customer make the right choices. I have been on the phone with AT&T for several hours trying to clean up the mess they made. Since it has been over 14 days everyone is saying they cannot help the situation. I went back up to this store to see what their explanation was behind all of this and all he said was "I don't know, I guess it was a mistake." I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Buying a phone should be simple, not something that feels manipulative. This experience completely destroyed my trust for AT&T. I would not recommend this AT&T store to anyone. Once I got it, brought it back in because I can never get those things put on right. He got it on perfectly, and didn't charge me anything. I am a loyal customer!

Getting a new cell phone wasn't an option, so I decided to try Dr. Fix It and I am very pleased with the result! Dr. Fixit replaced the battery in my IPhone 6s for a very reasonable cost and in a very timely manner. He is very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Fixit did a great job. The process was convenient and so easy! He also offered to recycle my old battery, so I didn't have to worry about it. My battery health is now 100%. I'm really glad Dr. Fixit was able to replace my battery for a fraction of what it would've cost to replace the phone.

I'm working at home due to Covid and can't afford this grief. I've spent numerous hours in the queue, waiting to speak to a CSR, and they make you run through the same process. Technicians have been out numerous times to only put a band-aid on the problem, then when they leave, back to the same problem. It's not just me, all our neighbors are experiencing the same problem. We are told that the station we are all connected to needs to be replaced with more updated equipment, but CenturyLink won't spend the money, they won't do what it takes to keep us up and running. How can they charge for a service that doesn't work??? I've started making complaints to other entities. Hoping someone will help us. If you can avoid going to CenturyLink for your internet service, please do. Save yourself the grief! I've read many Facebook comments and other reviews, and it seems to be the same story everywhere.
