I went into AT&T to get a new phone and was met with pushy, slimy sales tactics instead of actual customer service. The staff focused entirely on upselling unnecessary add-ons, avoided giving clear answers, and rushed through the important details. It felt misleading and dishonest, like they cared more about screwing me over and money in their pockets than helping a customer make the right choices. I have been on the phone with AT&T for several hours trying to clean up the mess they made. Since it has been over 14 days everyone is saying they cannot help the situation. I went back up to this store to see what their explanation was behind all of this and all he said was "I don't know, I guess it was a mistake." I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Buying a phone should be simple, not something that feels manipulative. This experience completely destroyed my trust for AT&T. I would not recommend this AT&T store to anyone.
