Worcester customer service rep but I don't expect much from customer service reps in phone companies. The building looks like a trap house is trying to go legit and the workers match. Incompetent might be too good for them. Honest question for you reps if you can read it. How does a customer walk in to buy a gift (pink) phone for his gf and pay his bill, just to walk out and have his number on the gift phone and no other line insight. To be honest they weren't in the best shape a couple of them really looked like they could use an extra hand. He did however make sure the only time he wasn't rude and loud and ghetto was when I mentioned a manager. Still wishing we could get the managers name, even Human Resources but I'm sure that's still the only way he stays quiet!! read more

Came here with my mom to get her a new phone. A young Hispanic man was running the service desk. He was completely unhelpful and rude and all he told us was what we could not do or get. He was rude to my 75 yo mother and ultimately told her to go to Walmart for her phone. read more

There is only one way to get anything done at AT&T wireless. You have to go see Avriana. Anyone who has ever tried to call 611 for at&t help knows the phone game they play. I went thru it many times, and it is always the same. The retail stores are hit or miss at best, depending on who you speak with. I was ready to change service for my business until I met Ariana. Finally, a person who I felt was there to help me. She stayed on my case until it was resolved, which was close to 2 hours. During that time, she successfully helped other customers and other associates with their customers. She did her best to welcome people as they came in and make them feel welcome. I have always been happy with the cell service and coverage I got from at&t, but always terribly unhappy with the customer service I received. Ariana turned my frown upside down, and became the absolute best part of my At&t experience. She is an amazing person who saved my sanity. read more

Be VERY careful at this store. I was looking to get a new phone via Asuron (or whatever it's called) insurance after having lost mine. I spoke with a clerk who really came off like he wanted to save me some money ($100 deductible), and told me that he had a promotion going where he could give me a free iPhone 7 (this was summer 2019 - still an older model at the time, but I'm all for saving $100). This seemed like a good move, and seeing as it was an older model phone, and seeing that I've been an AT&T wireless customer for well over 20 years, it didn't seem like a scam. I got my phone, and went about my day, my week, and the next year and a half. Now, I do auto pay because I just don't have time to dissect bills every month. I rely instead on the companies I trust with my business to be honest. Clearly that's a mistake, and foolish, and naive, but it's the way that I choose to live, and the way that we all deserve to live. It's now more than a year and a half later. About a month ago I was looking to get my mother a new phone, and since stores are funky in Covid season I opted to do this online. When I opened my account page to select her phone for an upgrade I was shocked to see a device that I had never authorized attached to my account. After some reading I found that this unauthorized device was opened on the same date as I went to AT&T Park Ave. Worcester to get my phone replaced. It doesn't take a genius to see what happened, the sales clerk who was so "helpful" had lied to me, sold a new phone and line onto my account, and I'm assuming pocketed a commission, and then probably made a couple hundred extra dollars by selling that phone that I never knew existed until a month ago. That brings me to today. Over the last month I've spent at least 7 or 8 hours on the phone with AT&T trying to get back the hundreds of dollars that I've been paying for a phone that doesn't exist, because an employee of the AT&T store on Park Ave in Worcester lied to me, and stole from me (he stole a phone that I had no idea existed/no idea that I was paying for). Every single person I've talked to at AT&T gives me a different explanation, a different promise of a solution, a different excuse. Several of the lower level customer service reps I've talked to have advised me to NEVER BUY DEVICES AT AT&T STORES BECAUSE THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE. Can you imagine theft from your customers being a common business practice at a large company like AT&T? Can you imagine that it's so common that several of their phone reps have advised me that this is a problem, and I should not trust the people working in the stores with my account information? This is far from over, and I'm sure that I have many more hours of phone time with AT&T, which I'll update here as it progresses, and if there's ever an actual solution. As of now AT&T has stolen right around $648 from me at 35.99 a month, and by my math they've stolen another $648 from me in the time that I've had to spend on the phone trying to resolve this. Went in for help after upgrading to a new iPhone from the Northborough Crossing store. The sales rep at Park Ave was extremely rude after learning I went in for help transferring my old phone to my husband phone. Knowing he wasn't making a sale he didn't try to be friendly. Tried to tell me what I was saying wasn't true. Also instead of just telling me a simple step to transfer the phone he gave me the AT&T phone number miner to call. When asked for his name he didn't want to give it to me and then scribbled it on a paper. Had to ask how to spell it! Then sarcastically asked why I didn't go back to Northborough. I live closer to Park Ave! I will never go back to that store because of this one rep! His attitude was unprofessional! Far from the service I received at the Northborough Crossing store! Wanted to let you know the sales person was Renzo I believe. I think that once he knew I wasn't going to purchase a phone from him it was as if I was just wasting his time. read more

If you go during the day, you will have a very nice young woman who will provide fantastic service. However, if you visit this store at night, you will be met with the most rude, condescending, and unhelpful staff you could imagine. Calling them incompetent would actually be a compliment. They simply do not want to do their jobs and will over complicate and delay your visit to their store. I would urge everyone to try and avoid visiting this store in the evening hours, it is a miserable experience that will be difficult to forget. read more

Don't bother. This is the least helpful cell phone store I've ever entered. I gave my Dad my old iPhone and we went in to switch him over from an Android. David Adeoso wanted nothing to do with us because we weren't buying a streaming service or upgrading. Mind you my Dads been a loyal AT&T customer for 10+ yrs. During the "virus" I visited this store to purchase an iPhone SE 2020. It was a standard phone buying practice where the employee hardly listens to your actual needs. Anyway I bought my phone and said thx. Since then (may) I've received nothing but spam texts, calls, emails and snap chatters adding me for spam and money. Typical AT&T. I will say I liked the guy who helped us. Nico was polite, professional, and bygolly was he adorable. Explained the additional charges our bill would see, got my info transferred on my new phone quickly, and listened to my questions. I also appreciated the fact that he didn't walk away to deal with anyone else while he helped us. That made him a great salesperson in my eyes and made dealing with my bill and phone buying way easier. read more

I have been in this store and other ATT stores with a prepaid phone before and was able to get it activated and be helped with no problem. On this particular occasion, not only did the Specialist at this store claim he could not help me because it was a prepaid phone, he asked me very unnecessary questions such as what I did for work, and belitting me for having a prepaid phone saying things like "a 16 year old could have a prepaid phone". I felt as if he either didn't really want to help me, or thought I was some poor POS because I am a woman of color who came in with a prepaid phone (and looking kind of bummy because it is the weekend), he automatically wrote me off as unimportant, and/or wanted to sell me a plan but was unsure if I was able to afford it. Needless to say, I will not be going to this store again, because I left feeling insulted and like a whole lot was being projected onto me that was the determining factor with the help I got (or in this case, did not get). Profiling comes in so many disguises and so does passive/aggressive behavior, for that matter. Will never step foot in here again. read more

Save your time and go someone else. I went to get a new phone and the guy that helped me couldn't care less. He said here's the phones then walked away to watch tv. When I said which one I wanted he got it, did some stuff on his iPad took my credit card and said here set it up at home. He refused to help me with it and said plug it in your computer at home and I told him I didn't have one and he's like oh then you can't transfer a lot Then he went back to watching tv. We just upgraded phones which could be as painful as buying a car. But, the store manager (AJ) and the customer service rep (Gus) who worked with us were very professional. They listened, did not try to oversell us and were honest and transparent on all aspects of this transaction. In addition, the store manager did a good job acknowledging all of the customers waiting and tried to keep everything moving. All in all, good customer service. read more
