Regardless, of my attempts I still ended up here because I could always rely on the expert that possibly awaits me. That expert is Raffi, whom I approach as the other employees were already engaged with other guests. She greeted me and immediately took care of my issue efficiently with her knowledge. We had just signed with DIRECTV and they offered us a great deal if we also changed our cell service to AT&T. Free iPhone 7 and a Free iPad for $10. We also bought one iPhone 7, all of these with unlimited Lte service. Sounds great, it was until we found out that we were lied to!!!! They told us that there was there was NO ACTIVATION FEES and We also declined the insurance!!!! Believe it or not our online bill was ready the next day. Guess what, ALL 3 HAD ACTIVATION FEES AND THE IPADS DATA WAS NOT $10 A MONTH BUT $40, AS PROMISED!!!! It gets even worse! We were also charged for the insurance on each of these products of $7.99. It took 2 different days on the phone with customer service to fix the lies and fraud we went through with this dealer. The first day I spent 5 hour with customer service telling them what had happened to me, with 4 different supervisors. 4 because they hung up on me 3 different times after being put on hold for hours at a time. Finally they agreed to wave the charges and promised to credit my bill. So I went to check my new bill online 3 days later like they said to do and guess what? The same bill no change!!! So I had to start over all again. This time I called in told to tell them what I was going through and they said they had my records from the previous calls and said the would transfer me to a supervisor to fix the problem. They transferred me not to a supervisor but to the cancellation department. Maybe GOD was giving me a chance to end this experience. But I called back again!!! Finally I got a supervisor told them what I been dealing with and they again promised that they finally fixed the fraud. But here the coup de grace to the back of my head, they said since my bill has already been processed they can't credit my bill until the next billing cycle. Where should I start..... First let me say that I hate being lied to. I left their competitor in the same mall because a company employee lied to me. Go back to the Friday before Christmas 2014. Mall is bustling with shoppers trying to find those last gifts. My wife and I decided to purchase a new IPhone 6 for her eldest daughter for a Christmas present. We signed in at this Company store (NOT an authorized retailer) and waited approx 40 minutes. (they were busy too) This is where everything went downhill. We spent a total of 2 hours in the store until the sale was completed. We walked out with the thoughts that we just put a nice down payment on the phone and got two nice extra gifts for free for doing so! On the way to meet up with friends, my wife started to feel uneasy about something. (She is a skeptic when it comes to big purchases) When we arrived at our destination, my wife got the receipt out and started looking over it. Up until this point we were overly trusting of the sales girl (Alisha) that all was well with our purchase. My wife's face started to get red and that's when she lost it. The deposit we thought was totally being applied to the cost of the phone....not so, None of it was applied to the cost of the phone!! The downpayment PAID for our FREEBIES! My wife called the store immediately. after speaking with someone for a minute, Alisha gets on the phone and explains how the purchase could not be applied to the phone. We told her that is not how you explained it and that she lead us to believe that the freebies were free and the cash was a total downpayment. Finally, we spoke to Manager Justin, He agreed that we were mislead and gave us a $100 credit on our bill (basically the cost of the freebies). At this point we are somewhat satisfied. Fast Forward a few days to the 23. I receive an email stating our phone will arrive between the 24th and the 29th!??? We were guaranteed the phone by Christmas! The 24th came and went and no phone = Christmas ruined for our daughter! The 26,27,28,29 all came and went and still no phone!! Check UPS this morning the 30th. It is finally out for delivery! I called the national customer service line, spent an hour+ on the phone. Finishing up with a manager, who tried to tell me the only thing he could do was apologize that Christmas was ruined. After some prodding and continually pointing out their discrepancies, he agreed to give me an additional $100 credit on our bill. I should not have had to work that hard for them to make things right! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH, ALWAYS ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS. Like the previous reviewer this is NOT about this store or any store in particular. This is about the AT&T Digital Life department's customer service or lack of service. I also could not find anywhere to address this about AT&T. I have had their system in my home for 5 years (which I was reminded of by the representative and considered a "good" customer). I decided to discontinue my service because during those 5 years I've never even turned it on. So it seemed like a good idea to end the service. I called on February 22nd and I was told that if I would continue the service I would receive a $20 monthly discount. That sounded like a good deal so I decided to continue. Then I get a bill for March with the old price still applied (no discount) so I called again. Believe me it's not an easy task to jump the hurdles for them to "verify" your identity either. But I persisted and this time (March 5th) I spoke with "Crystal" (whether the names are legit is completely open for discussion). Anyway she saw that my history did in fact show that I was to receive the discount. Lo and behold I get another bill this month for $51.39. I was always billed $44.98 and now suddenly I now need to pay $6.41 for late charges for a bill I spoke with someone about on March 5th. So now I call again and this time because the girl couldn't understand me she hung up on me. So I called again and this time I asked for the persons name and I was told "Camille". Now she tells me that my discount didn't go into effect until March 11th so it won't be applied until April. Now I've had it and I ask for a supervisor. She says she'll transfer me. I waited on hold for 45 minutes, finally gave up and called back again. I asked for supervisor immediately this time because I didn't feel like jumping the hurdles and then having to do it all over again. Well now the supervisor is on an "escalated call" and would I like to be placed on hold and wait. Rather than wait I asked to have the supervisor call me back but I was told they can't. So I asked why? They're AT&T don't hey have phones that work both ways? Rather than frustrating myself anymore today I threw in the towel to fight another battle tomorrow. We are in a Lancaster location that does not receive a good signal so we have an ATT micro cell to boost the signal . Now if you think we are in a rural location we are not but ATT suck donkey Kong in our area so we need a micro cell ! Ok so now get ready to take your meds because if your like me you going to want to punch the ATT customer service idiots over what I experienced and what happened next . I received a text message that my phone was not at the proper address with my Microcell , himmm ,my phone must have moved out on its own ! So I call the number , a very nice lady says " I can help you and switches me to tech team . The tech team is obviously in another country and can barely speak English , and this is from a guy ( me ) that grew up in an Imagrant family who had total understanding and patience for accents, nope I could not understand a word . SO faster using my special CIA Captain Crunch decoder ring , this ATT rep in a foreign country was asking me if my phone was a pre-paid card ?? I said no , its a business line how could you not know that , i have been a customer for over 20 years with the same number. SO he says " let me send you the the right department, sorry I cant help you" so remember each time ATT switches you they ask you for your number and name best yet ,. They can't identify you with your name so yes you are just a NUMBER , ATT REALLY SUCK DONKEY KONG DUUUDO ! OK , so next I get "impatient Annie " who does not understand why I after 45 mins of the yellow bus special helmet team employed by ATT has no patience for another idiot ! So she listens to my story , and says " I cant help you I am finance" I will switch you to another foreign country low paid idiot that ATT has employed vs a USA worker . SO now I am switched to the Quicke Mart in southern India and they cant help or understand a friggen word I am saying so I try to end both of our miserable lives and ask for a supervisor ,,,,, himmm supervisor that is like asking for a drink at an AA meeting , they don't even know the meaning of the word.Again ATT sucks major Donkey Kong Doo doo, ( I know I am repeating myself ) but if ATT reads this you have to say things over and over for them to get it correct , Ok so now Habeebe sister , Calbbeebe gives me a new number because she had no supervisor , she works unsupervised while doing crack cocane on the worksite unsupervised, yep it's a zoo doo filled with doo doo . DO NOT go to this location. Make sure you check and read your Bill as soon as you get it to make sure they did not add any extra charges. Insurance was only supposed to be added to one phone instead insurance was put on all phones. The sales men when I came in and questioned it said that when ever new phones are perched they add insurance since most do not leave with a case. This is something a customer should be informed of. The last time when we changed our plans. We did not purchase new phones the insurance was added to our bill. I find this unethical and deceptive practice. Un-believable. I fly into Philadelphia. I forgot my charging cord for my Iphone. I call from the Philadelphia airport and find it is a 1.5 hour drive. I will NOT make it by close time. The young lady on the phone "Raiza" asks where I will be staying? I tell her the Marriott. The kid delivers the charging cord to the front desk after the mall closes! I am shocked. I charge my phone. I work with the client the next day and many times think about a voice on the phone that sends a charging cord to my hotel. Very rude to customers. Only one salesman is extremely kind and professional. All of the others are rude PERIOD. I went into the store to inquire about a new iPhone and they said that they would get someone to help me. It's the middle of the day on a Tuesday no customers were in the store except me. Three employees are standing to the side waiting to help customers, so I walk over to them and ask them if they could help me with my inquire. They turn to each other and smile and laugh to themselves. Incredibly rude. I think it was because I looked young and maybe they thought I had no money to spend. But then I outright asked them "do you think it's funny that I pay over $350 a month to this sub-par telephone service every month?" Then I left. 1. This customer service doesn't care about customer satisfaction. If a representative does not resolve the problem, a manager does not help. The manager denies giving any kind of reassurance. They don't care about their customers. Not to mention, they are extremely RUDE and unprofessional. 2. Advertised free devices are not free, they charge up to $30 dollars for a tablet that doesn't catch mobile data, (because it only has WiFi.) 3. A salesman told me to switch 3 numbers from Verizon and promise to pay $100 per each number. I did, but received only a hundred dollars. Customer service refused to issue remaining $200 because "my phones are not expensive enough." Originally, I was promised a $100 PER number, not per purchased phone. 4. My Samsung phone died permanently and was replaced by a defective Samsung phone. The call volume doesn't work - I cannot hear people. I have to put everyone on loud speaker, because that's the only way the phone becomes loud enough. That is not normal. There are already 2 defective phones that I received, made by Samsung and sold by AT&T. 5. I purchased a 3rd phone online (not through AT&T) and AT&T started charging me $11 per month insurance on it. Without my authorization. They didn't want to refund my money. Then, Alisha and Sterling, two representatives through a customer service line, tried to blackmail me into signing up for a TV with AT&T. They said sign up for TV, or they will not refund my illegally charged money. I'm not exaggerating. It happened in this way. Stay away from AT&T. AT&T is the worst company. Came here yesterday with the intention of buying two new iPhones. Spoke with a bald, light, blue-eyed salesman whose name (I think) was Joe. I came in to see if they had any promotional deals for buying iPhones, and he was EXTREMELY RUDE, especially considering I was going to drop more than $1,000 on these phones!! Even after telling him MULTIPLE TIMES I did not want to purchase DirectTv because I am very satisfied with my current provider, he continued to try and get me to sign up and had the audacity to say he "wouldn't do business with me" if i didn't listen. Talked over me the whole time. Extremely unprofessional and perhaps the worst customer service I've ever seen, especially for items that are so expensive. I walked down a few stores to VERIZON and switched to them as my carrier immediately afterwards...they were able to trade in my phone and give me an amazing deal on two new models. More importantly, they answered all my questions in a friendly & professional way!!! Definitely recommend going to Verizon instead, as their customer service reps are so much more helpful and respectful. read more
