What can you say about a company that has been providing extreme customer service since 1978, not much but that's what The Container Store is known for, and they've never let us down. From the minute you walk through the door to when you leave, their service to the customer is phenomenal. Someone is always close by to answer questions or to show you where the "next big thing" is located. And guess what you didn't even know you needed it, but you did, and it made your life so much easier. It was time to redo one of our closets and the annual Elfa sale was on. Yep, time to head over to The Container Store to design the space. The designer showed us our options and designed it all out on the computer and gave up options. As the designer was finishing up the closet, we HAD to wander around the store, they've got such cool stuff especially all the little, small stuff up by check-out. We chose what we wanted, paid for it, and then set up an appointment for a pick-up of all the shelving a few days later. Of course, when we arrived, it was ready, and packaged up. I ordered shelves and brackets from the store. They sent my order partially and said remaining items will arrive. I called after 10 days to find out they lost my remaining order but never tracked or told me. They said they will replace but they cannot expedite my delivery even though they had delayed my project. Seems these stores are getting smaller and smaller. This one seems like one of the smaller ones for sure. My daughter wanted to stop in while we were in the area so we hopped in real fast. Prices are a bit higher than what you get at Target or Walmart, but they do carry items that other stores don't carry. Shelves are tall and full of items, they carry more than just containers, they do have kitchen and some home items as well. Staff was real friendly, place was really clean. I don't have anything bad to say about the store itself. They have a ton of items that would help with any type of home or office organization that you might need. It was clean and organized. Even the bathroom was clean. No complaints there. I didn't buy anything, simply because I thought their prices were too high. As always, the container store is helpful and courteous and great for planning weird small spaces, today it was underneath a dorm room bed. We were assisted by Will. Unfortunately for him we had a picture of the way we thought wanted it, a picture on a cell phone taken of a computer screen. Yup I'm that customer. After a very brief wait Will collected all of the items that we needed and gave us some excellent advice on a small amount of assembly that had to be done. Although the pricing at the Container Store can be high they pretty much have a solution for anything. I've also noticed that if you raise your hand or make eye contact an employee will come and help you with whatever you need. I am continually impressed. read more

I come here to buy acrylic boxes for displaying things. I sifted through their selection of boxes, carefully picking out the ones that had the least scratches (acrylic scratches very easy). I carefully put my boxes on the counter and paid.. then she picks them up one by one and THROWS them into the bag, hard enough to knock the lids off of them. I was so caught off guard by this that I didn't even know what to say, I just left. So here I am, with scratched boxes thanks to the Container Store employee who couldn't take 0.2 seconds out of her day to set the boxes into the bag instead of throwing them. Dear container store, please inform your employees that the items being purchased are not theirs to toss around and damage so carelessly. read more

Really? it is raining cats and dogs and I check to see if the store was open. I specifically looked on Yelp and it said open until nine tonight. So I get here it's raining and I get to the door and it has a sign of temporary store hours. Why couldn't You have taken the 10 seconds to update your Yelp page and put the temporary store hours in? This is so lame it is unbelievable and very annoying. I will always shop at another place if I can. I understand short hours, no problem. I went in to buy over $300 worth of merchandise and was checked out by the RUDEST woman. She worked at the front right register. Tone of voice was condescending and demeaning. Saying things like "I'm working on it" when I asked for a bag. I asked if something got rung up on twice and she responded "no it didn't" snarky and rude. We will never go back again. read more

Not only does this location have a great selection and helpful staff, they have a Fabulous staff with a heart that actually beats for human beings!! They are empowered to make decisions! They have just earned my business for LIFE! After suffering two strokes it's a challenge to get around most days as well as communicate. So, who would have expected that when I stopped to mention on my way out that these under-the-bed storage items I had purchased recently, had ripped to shreds during my recent move, would have resulted in an immediate refund and on-the-spot replacement?!! As a senior adult I have always received excellent service. We live in a retirement apt community and our daughter and a Container Associate developed a plan that helps me utilize my closet to the fullest and makes its contents readily available to me. In addition it was purchased at the time of a sale which helped our budget considerably.
