The service was fine. The selection was not bad and the value was terrible. I just wanted a good warranty on a leather couch in case my dog messed it up or scratched it or tore it. On a $3500 purchase for two love seats I spent almost $500 on a warranty going back-and-forth with sales to make sure that it would be covered if my dog missed one up. Tear vs. peal is why they turned down the warranty claim because it was appeal and not a tear. I really wish I would've got something nicer and could've paid a 10th of the price on marketplace. read more

I was very happy with my experience at this location. We had actually purchased items at the location in Frisco but needed to make some changes. I came in and Mr. Snow was very helpful. He did have to refer me to a manager, as it seems they prefer the customer deal with the original sales person, tho that would mean taking a 90 minute drive back to Frisco. He was able to help and got me taken care of. Very helpful. This location was larger than the Frisco location. Very clean. They have a lot to choose from, tho the styles don't seem to vary buy much. Cost is a bit more than other stores that sale Ashely furnishings, such as NFM, but the sales person did give us a good enough discount. The items we did purchase we had not seen anywhere else. read more

Bait and switch sales tactics. Salesman Ryan demonstrated one particular mattress frame. It had all the bells and whistles that I wanted. He then quoted me a price that I agreed to. However, the price was for a lesser frame than the one he demonstrated to me. He never once stated that that price was NOT for the frame that I wanted. After the mattress and frame was delivered I noticed that it was not the agreed upon frame. I immediately contacted him and he said "all sales are final". He said there's nothing that could be done about it. So make sure all the paperwork states the exact item number that matches what you want. read more

When I called the store asking to speak to the store manager, the terribly rude woman who answered the laughed when I asked for the store manager and hung up on me twice. We walked into Ashley's Furniture and didn't even make it 10 steps before a salesperson rushed us. No time to breathe, no time to browse -- immediately hovering and repeatedly asking if we "needed help." We clearly and politely said no, that we would ask if we needed assistance. That request was ignored. As we moved through the store, the salesperson stayed about 10 feet behind us the entire time, shadowing our every move. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly unsettling. At the back of the store, my partner and I were discussing several pieces we genuinely intended to buy that same day -- two sofas, end tables, lamps, a coffee table, and entry furniture. All we were trying to do was furnish our new construction home in Kelly Ranch, Aledo. This was a serious purchase. Instead of giving us space, the salesperson continued to interrupt, insisting on helping after being told multiple times we were fine. When I politely asked him to stop following us, he caught an attitude and told us we could leave. We hadn't raised our voices, caused a scene, or done anything inappropriate -- we were literally standing quietly looking at a coffee table. To make it worse, he radioed other staff claiming we were "causing a scene" and implied we might steal. That accusation was beyond insulting. Who exactly is walking out of a furniture store carrying a sofa? Come on now. As a business owner myself and with my partner working in healthcare, this was deeply offensive and completely unjustified. Then a manager arrived with two others. He attempted to shake my hand; I declined politely and explained I had recently been sick. His response? "Ew, why are you even in here then?" followed by a sarcastic remark about looking at mattresses "since they promote better health." Absolutely vile and unnecessary. All we asked for -- repeatedly and respectfully -- was space to shop without pressure. Instead, we were mocked, profiled, and followed until we finally walked out, with staff trailing us five feet behind like we were criminals. The manager (wearing all black, blond dyed hair, mustache) should seriously reconsider his role if this is how customers are treated. We were in the store less than 10 minutes, and it was one of the most uncomfortable retail experiences we've ever had. Ashley's Furniture lost a large same-day sale and any future business. I was helped by a salesperson named Elizabeth Cruz or LIZ CRUZ. Refuse her before she even enters your space because she is a SNAKE. I went to this store for the first time as a new home owner to furnish my bedroom and purchased a bed frame and mattress. At the time I was told the purchase of the mattress comes with an included mattress topper. Little did I know it was charged on my Ashely card I did not receive in the mail and once I was able to go onto my account, I saw the overdue charge. Frustrated, I disputed this with the bank but was told there was an authorized signature for the purchase. Which I'm confused about because LIZ TOLD ME it was included. I guess I didn't see the red signs of this store and the red flag of a snake Liz was. Not only that, the delivery system of this store is HORRIBLE. My husband and I were waiting for our delivery of a bed frame and mattress for a whole day and decided to visit the store since we were unsure of the delivery time and it was a holiday (veterans day). At the time, I was told by LIZ they would honor their holiday discount of my purchase that I did 2 months ago but when I got to the store and asked about the discount, Liz told me they could no longer honor it since I came THE DAY OF THE HOLIDAY? It's not the day after but the day of and they also had Black Friday signs everywhere. At that point, no delivery after waiting a whole day and not being able to honor the discount, my husband said to cancel the whole order. When I told Liz we want to cancel our delivery and order, I saw her face change. She showed she didn't want to lose her commission and told us once it's on the truck, it can't be cancelled. I asked if I could pay a cancellation fee since I'm over it but she still insisted the order can't be cancelled. Few minutes of wasted time goes by as the whole ashely crew is trying to find where the delivery truck of my order is and then they finally tell us we may not get our delivery until tomorrow. I had scheduled the delivery 2 MONTHS PRIOR for a reason as I have no other availability to receive the delivery. My husband and I insisted we cancel since we won't be there to receive the order with Liz continuously telling us it's not possible and here comes her manager who saves the day. Once I told the manager because of the late delivery I'd like to just cancel the whole order, he said "we can absolutely cancel your order but is there any way we can save the sale?" Now I'm confused because his sale associate just told me it's not possible? That just showed me how much of a liar and a snake Liz Cruz is. We left the store after filling out a cancellation form only for Liz to call me and give me all these discounts she said they couldn't do. She offered to waive the mattress topper fee which she told me was INCLUDED at the beginning of the purchase and she also mentioned how they can apply the holiday discounts onto my purchase. I recently had a very disappointing experience with the return policy and sales associates at Ashley Furniture. I purchased a sectional that turned out to be too big, and when I tried to EXCHANGE it, I was met with no help from the customer service. They were not only unhelpful but also quite rude and dishonest. They told me the return policy listed online is different than the return policy in store. Was also told I signed a receipt saying it was final sale which I did not and they are not able to find a copy of this receipt to send me. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the way they handle returns/exchanges and the behavior of their customer service. Delivery system is awful. In an hour and a half we got four different delivery times. I called one department and they said the only thing they could do was deal with the texts we received not the emails we were told those were in a different department. It's now April, and after six failed delivery attempts, I still don't have a complete, usable bed. Every delivery has been late, incomplete, or missing hardware, and each time I've been given different excuses with no resolution. Customer service is completely disorganized -- no one takes ownership, I've received conflicting information every time I call, and I've wasted six separate evenings waiting for deliveries that show up late or not at all. Even after being promised an exchange and a quality check, they continued to deliver the wrong parts. Ashley's has failed to fulfill their end of the agreement and made no real effort to make things right. I've never experienced such poor service and complete lack of accountability. Don't buy your furniture from Ashley. We were looking for a bedroom set and shopped at the Mesquite store. The associate that helped us seemed knowledgeable and we purchased most of what we needed. Things went down hill from there. We later found out delivery would be more than 2 weeks away. Once the delivery was made, the assemblers discovered the power bases we ordered did not fit the bed frame we purchased. The delivery crew took the bases back and told us to expect a call from the store to determine the path forward. In addition to having the wrong power bases, the beds and mattress were more than 5 inches higher than what we looked at in the store. I never got a call back from Ashley and started calling twice a week, which is another story due to the answering system only offering 3 options and none of them connects you to a customer service agent. We finally got our power bases delivered and installed almost 2 months after making the purchase. The beds are still too high and we use step stools to on the beds. We're not satisfied with beds, but after dealing with Ashley the past couple of months, it's just not worth more grief. Be warned, go anywhere besides Ashley. read more

NEVER BUY FROM HERE. The delivery men came to my house to deliver my white couch in the rain. I'm 95% they weren't sober. One man right off the bat was just yelling the whole time and made me feel very unsafe. He rushed over in anger to my stairwell and immediately said "NO WAY IM NOT MOVING THAT COUCH UP THERE" His colleague came up and they attempted to deliver the couch. Unwrapped the couch outside in the rain. The pillows left in the rain and dirt. The man yelling inside wouldn't stop screaming, the other man kept asking me for my phone number and hitting on me (he asked for my number three times) he was more concerned about hitting on me than making sure my couch got up the stairs. Then the other man was yelling at me as if it's my fault I have stairs? I felt SO UNSAFE WITH THESE MEN. Then the angry man told me no way, he won't deliver my couch, they loaded it back in the truck, left. And even left all the TRASH IN MY YARD. I told the sales person that I would like to look around first and come find them if I had any questions. Bought a mattress and a cooling pillow and at first we were told we would get a discount on Mattress and that did not happen and then were told on the pillow if we bought one we got the next one free and that was a lie. They did not have the pillow and would call me when it came in so, I waited and called to get the status and was told it has not arrived so i waited another week and called back and was told I cancelled the order and asked if they could have Liliana call me in regards to this and still did not get a call so i went on NFM website and found the pillow at a much lower rate and they would ship it to me. Bought our last couch here 2 years ago and had to get a new one only because it didn't fit in our new house. Came back despite the awful reviews and Jen and Cori were absolutely wonderful. Listened to our needs, gave us space to explore, didn't try to up-sale or scam, were nice and offered snacks to our feral toddler running around. The table leaf was defective, and the delivery person said they would fix it within 2 weeks, so I kept the table. More than 3 weeks later, they still have not even shipped the part! I would leave 0 stars if I could. We bought a whole bed set in March and were told the chest of drawers and side tables would be delivered in 2 weeks. Two weeks later we were told in 6 monthS. Six months later we were told they were discontinued. After a month of back and forth we were were finally given a refund for the undelivered furniture and now we are stuck with half of a complete bed set. Purchased a couple of items in January 2023 and the salesperson added a warranty. I have been working with the corporate store for 2.5 months now trying to get a refund. Ridiculous that a company this size would try to add a warranty charge of $400 then can't get their act together to refund MY money. Will never buy another thing from any Ashley store again. They have a no return policy even if they make a mistake. Once you make a purchase and you are out the door they do not care about you. You are instructed to contact an 800 number customer service, whose system is always down, then they instruct you to send a text. Guess we can work it out in court. Was told the tempur-pedic base and mattress would work with our current bed. It does not. Couch was damaged during delivery, yet to be taken care off. They "white glove" delivery is a joke. I thought I was going to a classy store, when the behavior of the sales clerk, Liz Cruz, proved otherwise. I went into this store to purchase an electric recliner sofa. I found what I needed, but the sales clerk rushed me through the selection of the sofa, ask me " how do you sleep?". I humored such question, only to realize that she wanted me to purchase a $6,000.00 bed. Later, as I was paying, she offer the extended warranty for the sofa , and I declined it--because I generally don't buy extended warranties for furniture. She made me sign several documents online, but never explained that once I accepted the sofa, upon delivery, it could NOT be returned. Before I left that day, I asked if the delivery people would show me how to use the electrical controls, and she assured me that they would. The delivery people were extremely nice, but I forgot to ask me how to use the controls on the sofa. After they left, I realized that they had delivered the wrong thing. I immediately called the sales clerk and explain the problem. She said that she thought I "could not afford the electrical, so she ordered the mechanical." I was furious and and stated that she sent me the wrong thing, but she said you can complained all you want, but the deal is done. I called customer service, and the person I talked to told me that someone would call me within 3 hours. They never called. I just called customer care again, and I was inform that the sale is permanent once I accept the furniture upon delivery. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau now, and will NEVER return to this deceiving furniture store. read more

They've done it again!!! They weren't supposed to deliver until feb and an unmarked truck showed up with my replacement table. Three guys came in my house and 2 of them wore the mask below their noses. When they brought the new table in it already had a paint flaw. I refused delivery. I've attached the 1 photo I got before they removed the table. I called customer care and the lady that answers "doesn't care"... she's very rude and short when you call. They cannot order me a new table until the flawed one makes it back to the Warehouse. So I still have the old table! Listen to the other reviews and do not order from here!!!! We ordered a sectional through Ashley and decided to pick it up vs delivery. When we arrived at the distribution center they helped us load it into the truck and after explicitly asking if we should inspect it, the warehouse worker told us we had 72 hours to report any damage so inspection wasn't needed. After inspecting the pieces after getting home we realized one piece of the sectional was severely damaged with broken wood and an 8in tear in the fabric. We called Ashley to report this and see if we could trade it out at the distribution center and they will not allow us to do so. They told us we need to wait 7 days to open a claim and have a technician come out to repair it. There is clearly no repairing this piece and it's absolutely unacceptable that they are giving us the run around instead of replacing it. I will never order from Ashley again! read more

This is the worst furniture store ever! Don't buy it. I bought a sectional at the Fort Worth location on April 17, 2020 and were supposed to have it delivered by May 9th at the latest. On May 7th I rec'd a message that my order was delayed. I tried calling the store where I had made the purchase and no one ever picked up my call. I tried and tried the options and it said "this option is not available at this time". Something really shady is going on. I also called the main corp office and they couldn't do anything about it. They told me I would have to keep calling the store in Ft Worth or go in person. This is frustrating and I do not recommend this furniture company to anyone. Horrible and shady!!! I just want my money back or to get my furniture!! Update: Thank you KL from Ashley, after you responded to my review, everything got taken care of. It took a while to get everything solved. I didn't hear from them until two weeks later, once it was time for my first payment for me to be in that I have to pay an additional $600 for there fees! I was in tears. the furniture was only $2,000. So, now they want me to pay an additional $1200 for it. I understand Ashley's fees. I agreed to them, but not the additional $600 from the 3rd party. if you don't pay by your 90 days you'll be hit with all kinds of interest. Warning! The store has an excellent selection of furniture. These are solid pieces with fair prices. It takes 2 weeks to receive your order. The sales clerks are friendly. Note that the sales clerk will try to have you purchase a protection plan. If you do not want the plan they will not push it on you. A great plus is the $99 delivery fee. The company lets you know in advance of the delivery time and contacts you days prior to set up a specific time frame. The delivery team is prompt and careful with set up and assembly. read more

I called Ashley's customer services to get an answer they send me back to the protection provider. The provider still said no on the cleaning. After that I have been trying to get that plan canceled and it has been more than 2 months and still nothing has been refunded or resolve. This place is a scam. First off, I am a Quality Engineer by profession. I take products (Aerospace) and ensure they are what they're supposed to be. Last month my wife and i go into Ashley Ft Worth, Hulen area, and find furniture we like. We sat in it, tested its functionality, liked it, bought it. Conveniently they "didnt have it in stock" and it would have to be delivered for free. We agreed. It came. Had the same color. Had the same stitching. Had the same name. But......the material and cushioning are different. Its stiff as a board, rigid, and not the same. Its as though what they sell from the showroom floor and what is manufactured and delivered are different. Completely different in fact. Yes, we realize what is on the showroom floor is worn in by customers, but its more than that. This material is different. My guess is that if we took a material sample from the two sets (one from the showroom, one from ours) and had a comparative analysis performed, theyd be completely different. Be very careful that you do not take delivery of what shows up at your door until you verify that it is actually the same in all aspects to what you seen and felt on the showroom floor. I bought a sofa, chair and ottoman in May 2022 and bought the service plan because the salesman said they would clean the fabric when it became soiled. Even handed me a brochure stating the same. Called the service company last month to get the cushions cleaned and was told they don't clean for dirty fabric. I've been trying for a month now to get a refund but can't get any help. Try to call the store phone number and it gets answered by a call center somewhere who has to send a request to the store to return my call within 24 to 48 hours. My review is solely based off a great customer experience I received from Alex the sales person. I'm not big on leaving yelp reviews however it was refreshing to deal with great sales person. Alex was not only very knowledgeable on the furniture but he was also very professional. He didn't waste our time nor did he hassle us about up-selling us to more expensive furniture. We told him we were on a tight budget but needed the furniture ASAP. Overall great customer experience with him. Give that man a raise! If you can, ask for him when shopping.
