Gas Fireplace Lights our World! After 30 amazing warm…read morewinters our gas fireplace finally died. Replacing it was challenging ( we visited and obtained estimates from several other places) but Lawn and Leisure of 103 Douglas Court, Sterling, Va brought us warm joy with a new Regency Gas Fireplace. T.C. was our salesman and helped by personalizing the entire process. We were given many pointers that led to success. Our fireplace was delivered in ten days while other stores said it would take several months to make delivery. T.C. recommended Dulles Solid Construction, owned by Gary Pulino as the contractor and he and his team exceeded all expectations. No detail was ovelooked and recommendations were spot on! This made the many decisions of mantel, surround stone, hearthstone and fireplace height easier. Since our gas fireplace was direct vent, siding had to be removed outside and all inside bricks removed with skill. The finished product is beautiful and all stonework installed to perfection. We only wanted to do this once . We were immediately called by an extremely nice, professional man...Steve from Walpole (Potomac MD)....who came out (free of charge) to listen to what we needed. He measured and gave us his thoughts and ideas, and returned with a plan. I cannot tell you how nice this fellow was...did not give us a big sales pitch (the fence samples speak for themselves) and he completely understood the $ would be a stretch for us. He never once made us feel like ours was a piddly little job compared to the mega high dollar jobs he often does. Did I mention he was incredibly nice....? So we earned lots of reward points on our AMX and have been smiling ever since! BEST DECISION we have made in years! The process was painless...we debated the color and are delighted we chose the deep green. ... about six weeks later it.took two days to install. I wish I could remember the names of the two men who came out to install...talk about "top shelf whisky"....they had to be the A crew...happy. friendly and totally knew their craft. You would never have known they were here. All that hand digging and precision measuring...and they "left not a trace" during the install. The process was a breeze and the result was perfection. We walked in to the spacious showroom. We were told all items were a la carte and the person at the counter seemed friendly and welcomed questions. The furniture seem sturdy, modern, and the variety was pretty good. The price point seemed reasonable. I don't know about the availability of all the items and fear there will be quite a delay in delivery, but that seems to be across the board for any furniture in general lately as a result of the pandemic-caused shortage.

When the CYA was way off, the staff came out and spent 20 minutes first getting to the bottle of why our numbers were the way they were and then explaining chemical management in detail to us. Our PB never did this. The staff was very friendly and I do appreciate that everyone was still in a mask. The store is well organized and has everything you need to maintain and have fun in a pool. I wish we had more time to spend in there. We were extremely happy and knew exactly how to treat the pool when we left. They have a customer for life here.
