Continuing our search for an area rug, we decided to check out At Home. Like other home stores, At Home sells a little bit of everything, but imagine other home stores on steroids, much bigger, with vast array of options. They sell everything for indoor and outdoor, furniture, decor, bedding and so much more. We found their carpet section, which offered a huge selection, many of which came in varying sizes. We had trouble finding a specific carpet we saw on the racks, so pushed a button on the end of the aisle to call an assosciate, and I've got to admit, I was surprised when she not only showed up, but in just a few minutes. At Home gets bonus point for that, unlike other stores, where you can push the button, and no one ever comes to help. In the end, we found the carpet, along with a few other small items. Pricing, is very reasonable, that being said, most of their products probably aren't meant to last a life time, but you get what you pay for, and if you take care of your stuff, it will hold up. I'll definitely be returning in the spring to pick up some outdoor patio seating! read more

Website said an item was in stock but they tried finding it and it wasn't. Their system said it wasn't in stock either. Oh well. The place was very clean and organized. It's odd they have separate areas for each department. There are two sections for the kitchen department. Be sure to check both if you can't find what you need because it could be there. Plenty of parking but it is a ways to the front entrance even from the lot. Wide aisles makes it easy to walk with a walker or wheelchair. Friendly helpful staff. 4/5 only because the website error giving me a wasted trip. read more

One of my favorite places to get any house item from furniture, decor, kitchen supplies, any home necessity. If you're not familiar with the area, it may be a little hard to find since you can't see if from the main road that is off of...being Wendover. With that being said, it's kind of a hidden gem. The store is fairly large and is a great place to go for seasonal items. Christmas...has all you need from trees (artificial), ornaments, wreath, wrapping, decor. Spring and summer they carry a good variety of outdoor furniture, planters, pots. Literally everything you need for your house is there, it covers every household room's needs. The downside of it being very large is that some items can get misplaced and tough to find it's home (price, other options). One of the better promotions is there red line sale where a whole category of items are normally half off. read more

After casually shopping- I approached the checkout line and while in line was asked to remove my service dog from the store. I was told by an employee- Christina i believe- that someone made a complaint that my service dog scared them? I was lectured on laws I have studied by uneducated MANAGERS at a store. This should not be happening. I was also told they were pet friendly- but noticed a sign that said no pets. The employee tried to deny asking me to leave the store. I asked for a DM's number or corporates number and was told to look online and give them MY info?? Needless to say we walked out without buying anything and will NOT return. We were checking out and I was asked to leave with my medical equipment- because of my medical equipment - while in the checkout line!! read more

I've shopped here just for ideas. So much to see. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and come early enough to see everything. I have purchased for in the house and yard. They notified me that my patio set was restocked. Almost messed up by waiting two days, because they were down to two sets. I took my set home. I'm happy for the selection that they have. read more

This was a store I never knew I needed. This store is the size of a Home Depot or a Lowe's but filled just with home decor items and a TON of them! Some of my favorite things about this place is how all of the items are sorted. Almost everything is sorted by color so if you want a certain color chair or a certain color lamp you can just go to that section of the store and find what you want! I find this store just much better than other furniture stores because I can easily find what I am looking for! read more

I used to love this store when it was under the name Garden Ridge. They always had unique interesting items that you couldn't find anywhere else. I went in looking for chair cushions and trying to find help was like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. I finally found one employee who wasn't wearing a mask and he guided to what I was looking for. Then even more disappointment because they barely had anything. Overall a wasted trip! Not sure if the lack there of was because of the pandemic or because the store just isn't what it used to be. read more

I have purchased many items for the inside and outside of my home here. They have a lot of unique outside cushions and decoratives which is good to have in one place....much more personality than a Lowe's, etc. You can get wall art, rugs, kitchen, bathroom, novelties - you name it! The prices are fair, but there is so much inventory that you may find yourself overspending. The store is usually clean, however, there is not a lot of staff handy for questions or help. Ps. This is a pretty cool store overall. It doesn't seem to get a whole lot of foot-traffic in this location. The aisles were pretty organized. The only negative feedback -- when you want some specific items, they're always sold out and never in your close locations. It would be nice to have a decent amount of inventory of for all items. I would love to give more business to this company overall, but they're out of stock on so many things that are available at stores 2 hours away from me. Not convenient, which makes us shop somewhere else. read more

This is the mega store for anything for the home. Inside or out. It was not crowded at all. There were not many staff to help if You needed help. Come prepared to wander and look and enjoy. My favorite part are the color coded throw pillows. read more

In the day and age of online and pickup ordering, I had the WORST experience ever. Twice I sent notification that I was outside for pickup and after 25 minutes of waiting, drove off. Mind you this was 7:30 at night and the store was not busy. Almost immediately after driving off, I get a phone call asking if I was still available to pick up my order. So disappointed!! read more

Your average collection of stuff for homes. Huge store. All kinds of things but picked over due to the Pandemic.

Over the years I've gone to this location quite a few times but I have to say today my expectations, as low as they usually are, we're actually exceeded in falling below that level. The parking lot is so full of trash I couldn't believe it and the store itself has many aisles filled with merchandise on the floor. As with the current supply chain issues in our country it was apparent that this is impacting the store because many of the shelves were bare even though on a visit to a different store yesterday, its shelves were fully stocked so go figure. What surprised me even more was that not one employee greeted us or said hello as we walked by and this includes Kenneth the manager (by his name badge) and Beth, who we had to get out of the way of as she was using a dolly to move merchandise; neither one made any eye contact, smiled, or greeted us in any way. The "At Home" name of the store certainly didn't make us feel like we were 'at home.' Needless to say a one star is all I can give you today guys; maybe in the future on a subsequent visit, if I choose to go back, I can reevaluate and see if you deserve a higher rating. read more

If you are into HGTV like my mom and I are then you will love this warehouse full of stuff. After all the great suggestions on places to go, could you believe we found all the stuff I needed for my apartment right here. From home decor to bedding, chairs to tables, and every fake color Christmas tree you can find something/anything for your home here. The prices are nice and comparable and the furniture is very sturdy. I bought a chest of drawers from here over 3 years ago and it still looks good. I love coming here and I even have brought friends who are in the market for home goods and they have loved it too. The only reason this is not a 4 star review are the fact this place never has coupons and if you need assistance you have to walk all the way up to the front find someone to help you and then walk all the way back. This is a great store for all sorts of things. They have a huge assortment of Christmas ornaments that they usually start putting out way too early. Their seasonal collections are always great, with lots of unique items to decorate for the holidays. At Christmas, they always have a lot of oversize inflatable decorations on display. They also have Christmas trees of almost any color you can think of. Garden Ridge has a good sized furniture department too. They have dishes and typical household items, and they are starting to carry more "soft lines" items like clothes and luggage. There is a book department, but it isn't very good. Garden Ridge, like Big Lots, is one of those stores that you have to check up on every so often. They are probably not going to have exactly the same merchandise in there twice, but if you are looking for silk florals or holiday decorations, this is THE place to shop -- especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas when they have ridiculously extended hours and sales. read more

If there's something that you need for your home, this is where you can find it. They have everything from patio furniture, to bedding, to wall decor, chairs/couches, and organizational items. There's a style for everyone in each department. It's pretty well organized, but can be overwhelming, as it is such a huge place. Thus far I have bought outdoor chairs, a table, a matching umbrella, curtains, wall decor, outdoor hangers for planters, candles, picture frames, glasses, and carafes. I could spend all of my paycheck here. Literally. The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because of the staff. They aren't always the friendliest bunch, nor are there enough of them to go around. However, their prices you can't beat. You can find something in your price range, no matter what. I promise. This store is MASSIVE. The selections are vast and varied, yet affordable. There are so many options and styles in this store that I actually meandered for hours when I went in for one item. They have just about everything from decor to furniture. I went in for wall art and found styles and choices that I hadn't even considered. Got addicted to this place ever since I first started shopping at GR 10 years ago in Dallas, TX. I now love shopping at the store in Greensboro, and am always amazed by the fresh home decor and organization ideas, wide selection of bedding, lighting, art and art supplies, furniture, gardening and yard items, and always the rock bottom prices! The enormous warehouse has such a huge array of anything for the home and yard, so I love to browse in there for new ideas. I plan to go back soon for some exterior lighting and decor (+ maybe some patio furniture) for the spring and summer! read more

A huge store loaded with home decor in all shapes, styles, colors, and materials. The only thing I was missing, and that was the purpose of my first visit there, were round area rugs. : ( But if you're like me, you will get lost in the store for hours, mentally decorating your place, over and over again, until your mind is so overloaded with ideas, that you'll leave the store either with a cart full of stuff, or only very little due to idea overload - can't make decision syndrome. They sure will see my face more frequently. read more

Wanted to buy some plastic storage containers. The sticker had $19.95 on it. When we went to pay for it, it rung up as $39.95. We showed the lady the sticker on the other end & she scanned it & it also came up with $39.95. The description on the register was the same for each sticker. All of them had $19.95 on the sticker. The manager would not honor the lower price. I don't plan on going back into this store. read more

I cant stand this place. It is basically just a warehouse filled with junk. Reminds me of that Ollies place that has nothing but junk..... Upon arriving you will notice that they leave all carts outside for it to rain on them and rust them. Further more, they are covered in pollen. Doesn't really matter because I cant see anyone wheeling out loads of junk from this place anyway.... I also noticed that the parking lot ins dirty and that they don't weed around the building. I was in this place for about 10 minutes before I realized that they had nothing to suite me and that I was wasting time here. 10 minutes of my life that I will never get back. :( I will not return to this place again. read more

I have been coming to this store since the pandemic hit. I've used the curbside service several times, only to find sales associates walking around in groups instead of bringing my order out. Why offer a service that you don't implement. I text the store, someone respond, but never show up. While standing in line, you hear the sales associates talking badly about customers, soon as they walk off. Last time I purchased some items was in November, 2020. I was asked to show Id, I asked the sales associates "Jordan Locklear" if I needed to show the barcode, she was so rude to me. I stated, the email said I needed to show the barcode. She looked at my ID, mumbled profanities, she walked away and came back with the manager "Sami Brown". They sped walked toward me, while Jordan stood in the back of her. I knew something was wrong by their face and body language. She spoke harsh, asking me for my ID. I told her I've showed my ID. She responded " she (Jordan) said you refused to show your ID". As I was telling the manager (Sami Brown) what Jordan said to me, and that she was lying, she interrupted me and asked me to leave the store. On my way home, I called the store (At Home), Sami Brown identified herself as the manager, when asking for both their names she muffled her voice so I couldn't understand her. She tried to rush me off the phone, saying she was taking care of customers, she stated how she didn't care if I report them, that customers aren't always right. I've been shopping at At Home (aka Garden Ridge) for years. They have a high turnover rate for employees. I'm not going to say I won't be back, but they definitely loss my business for now. It's plenty of nice stores in the area, that have great merchandise, superb customer service, those stores deserve to get my money! I'm sure the next time I step foot in that store they both will be fire or left the store. If Sami and Jordan don't like their job, that they chose, they should go back to school and get a higher education like I did!!! read more

I enjoy going to Garden Ridge most of the time. They do have some good deals but it's hit or miss and you can't look on line to find out what they have in stock. Today was the first time that I actually needed help from staff and I quickly realized that I was out of luck! We went to get a rug (of course the one we wanted was under 100 other rugs). There was no one around to help. After walking all the way back to the cashier, who said she was calling someone, then walking all the way back to the rugs, we waited for 10 minutes with no help. Luckily a friendly customer who told us without hesitation that no one would be coming to help, he knows from experience, helped me get the rug out. The cashiers were all rude and didn't try to hide the fact that they hate their jobs, and no one offered to help us get the huge rug to the car. When I say us I mean myself and my wife who is eight months pregnant and obviously can't help. After my experience I think I would rather pay a few dollars more and go somewhere else. read more
